My boyfriend and I were craving some candy so we stopped in here to look around. We were the only customers in the store, likely because it was a week night, and the two employees working made a point to greet us and ask if we needed any help. At first I figured that was fine, very normal for any retail store, but it became excessive. As we were looking around they were consistently staring at us, making little comments, maybe it was an attempt at banter but we honestly just wanted to browze and it was becoming obnoxious and intrusive. These girls would not read the room and it started getting to a point where I didn't even want to comment on anything because I was living in fear of what might be said in rejoinder. Finally one of the girls started sort of minding her business behind the counter, but the other stood posted up against the wall eating a bag of doritos and staring us down. She had this odd, smug little smile on her face, and still continued to make comments or ask if we needed help. It's candy...it's pretty straight forward...if we need help we'll inquire. Eventually it got to a point where despite having found several products we were interested in, the demeanor and the vibes were so offputting that we literally walked out. There are quite a few great selections, but some are just over the top, I'd love to see someone eat one of those gigantic gummy bears. Came back here per our routine with our kids. Every time we visit Westgate, we go to our fave restaurant, then head right into this delicious candy store. It's directly across from our fave, Yard House. So the kids know. They wonder inside knowing we'll be there for a while. We have to look at every new display, every new item and specifically every funny product. We each get our desired candy but we also always get one of the Japanese sodas, so yummy. They are my favorite item. Not so much a candy person myself, I usually end up with a funny game or a hilarious magnet. It's candy - it's colorful - there are tons of goodies to look at! What's funny is that my husband and I are not big sweets-eaters, but we had fun looking around, reminiscing about our youthful favorites and what we might get for gifts in the future. Whoever the 3 workers were closing on 8/1 was horrible. Not one was doing their job around the store or at checkout; all three were on their phones, screaming, and laughing with each other at the counter. We were the only customers in the store and when we went to check out all three of them were faced backwards at the counter on their phones, one even pointing at us and telling someone else to check us out because they didn't want to. They didn't say one word to us while checking out and had an attitude as if we were disrupting them? Do your job. read more

Stopped by ITSUGAR to pick up some treats for my little sister for doing a good job in school and ended up picking up some goodies for my friends too. They have such a wide variety of sweet/sour treats for anyone. You are paying a little more for candy than you would at a regular grocery store but it's so fun to pick and choose what pieces of candy you want in your own candy bag. My little sister loves KitKats and Twix, (they have a deal 2 for $10). The "alcohol" chocolates run $9 a bag or box but they're fun little treats for friends to try or have as little nifty gifts. You can also get magnets or stuffed toys. Definitely do not come with an empty stomach because you will leave buying everything! Employees are respectful and behave very well-mannered. read more

Walked into the store to look for some sour treats, I'm apparently blind because I walked past them twice. But the employee working there, Stevie, was so helpful and kind. She showed me where they were after I requested help and gave me her best recommendation with the best customer service I've had in a long time. Came in yesterday afternoon about 12:45 PM. Greeted by the staff, they seems very pleasant and offered assistance. We were just browsing at the amount of candy they offer. Lots of bulk candy & HUGE large candy bars like Kit Kats, Snickers & Hersey's. With Easter soon approaching they had large chocolate bunnies and one of my favorites was a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup bunny! They have big Gummy Bears : many different sizes & flavors. We ended up buying a few of their chocolate toffee crunch pieces & a few chocolate peanut butter crunch in the loose bulk candy bins. It was close to $5. They weigh it & you pay by the ounces. It was nothing special. I feel a little pricey for the small amount we got. We also picked up a few other popular candies for the girls (Air Heads & Sour Patch Kids) these were a little more expensive than what I generally pay for them with other retailers. read more

We had a riot looking around at the yummy bulk candy and the selection of gummy bears caught my eye. We hail from Wisconsin, home of the Hairibo candy manufacturer, so I'm well acquainted with Gummy Bears. But here I got to pick and choose from astonishing flavors like peach, grape, green apple and the more conventional cherry. They were exceptionally fresh which is most preferred. My son was super excited and wanted to use all his savings to buy me a large stuffed Pusheen cat, one of my favorite characters. I settled for a cute button with Pusheen eating a doughnut instead. This candy store stocks up on Hi-Chews and other exotic, hard to find candies. It is colorful and will entice any kid, including a 50-year-old one. Expensive but it's so worth it to see my daughter's excited face! Employees were friendly and apologetic because we had to wait outside due to them limiting the customers inside. Gloves are provided and mask required. Very clean and great selection! Just prepare to spend a pretty penny here. This place is a literal candyland. They have a lot of variety and the kid in me wanted to go all Charlie and the chocolate factory up in here. But beware- they are not priced for craving shopping. We got a handful of gummy bears (thanks goodness) and they were over 2 dollars! And I'm not saying a giant baseball mitt handful, it was literally like 20 gummies, if that. This is a good place to go if you are looking for something as a gift. They have a great selection of themed candies, like stranger things and star wars. First time ever going to this candy store and there was a young girl in there I believe her name was Angel dark red hair who was absolutely amazing and had the best customer service that I've experienced in years someone is teaching her right. This place is super cute and in a great location, but the candy is pretty pricey! Most high end candy stores like this are that way, so it wasn't anything unexpected, but what I do like about this place is that they occasionally have specials! I came here on Saturday January 14, and they had deals where you could fill up a plastic box with any and as much candy as would fit for $10, or fill up a larger tin for $15! The bigger deal was obviously a better one, so I did that and was able to cram so many sour belts in there. It was definitely an amazing deal, so I'll try to keep up with their specials for when I do go back there. Though, even without the specials it's always worth the walk inside, everything is nicely decorated and they have lots of cute candy gifts! read more

Holy moly! Gummy bears as far as the eye can see! My friend and I happened upon this awesome shop when we were wandering around Westgate one night. First of all, I love the logo. The little devil tail is so fitting! So many nice things (and a few naughty things. Not everything is appropriate for children). It's like being on a sugar high when you wander in. It's hard to focus on just one thing. Tons of different kinds of candy are everywhere, as well as fun novelty items. You'll find yourself saying, "I want that!" over and over again.
