Unfortunately, there are only a few truly unique candies on offer; most all of the inventory is mass-produced candies and bulk sweets. This is more a retailer than a confectioner, as it seems like they don't really make anything in-house. They do stock local producer Platter's chocolates and sponge candy, and have some other loco-regional treats like Coffee Crisp, but otherwise it feels in most respects like any retail-only candy store. If you happen to be walking/driving by and need a quick glucose fix, feel to stop in if you have a few minutes and patronize a small business; just don't feel the need to head out of your way for it.

I like the emphasis on all natural ingredients, but I still want to treat myself when I indulge in fro yo, and theirs missed the mark. Also, a lot of fro yo places similarly emphasize natural ingredients. I also prefer being able to prepare my own dish instead of feeling like I need to hurry up and make a decision, but I'm not holding that against them since it's in a food court and not free standing. I don't think you can buy one at a time anymore. The cookies are probably 3-4 inches across, so large enough to share easily. They are very good. I love it when people find something they love to make and are good at it. They can focus on it. Not trying to "be all things to all people" but rather focus on a target audience. Carla makes very good cookies and branches out only a little from what I have seen. She can also be found at the Williamsville Market, and I think I saw her at the North Buffalo one as well.

Since then I've tracked her down at the winter market at Horsefeathers on Connecticut Street in Buffalo and, once that closed for the summer, at the farmer's markets in North Buffalo (Thursday 3-7 p.m.) and Williamsville (Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Her other cookies are tasty, but for me the bold flavor of the ginger molasses stands head and shoulders above the others. They just might be the best ginger molasses cookies anywhere. On Labor Day weekend in Williamsville, she also had delicious sweet cupcakes with cranberries. As Maria B. notes, cookies are 3 for $5 (though I always take home at least half a dozen).
