One of my favorite places in Holland. We always sit on the bar side. Service is excellent and there are many unique menu items. I've been here with small groups and large groups and we have always received great service. The menu states that since everything is made from scratch it might take up to an hour to get your food but it has never taken that long when we have been here. On this visit we started with two orders of nachos, requesting no meat in one order. The nachos here are seriously my favorite that I have ever had from any restaurant. Ingredients include roasted corn, black beans,, red onion, cheese, lettuce, pico, cilantro, and lime chipotle cream, and choice of meats. We ordered ground beef on one order and the other meatless. After the nachos we ordered a Fun Guy pizza and a burrito, which was huge! We all shared the pizza and burrito. We enjoyed goat cheese cheesecake for dessert. It was wonderful. This place always has the best food of any bar I ever go to. A must try when you are in Holland. read more

Friday Night after the New Year is apparently where the Locals Hang! The Place was hopping. Great energy a warm welcome. So many friends and families enjoying a snowy evening at the Bitty Bar! We had a great time. We were seated in the Bar. At a high top which was great! The Bar Tender, Ted Waited our Table. He is the perfect example of and Amazing Bar Tender with attention to detail and Services The Crowd well deserved a shoutout! I had the Mussels so many People had told me I need to try them. Probably some of the best I have ever had. The hint of smoke from the Pork Belly the Broth and the Pearl onions, garlic and Cherry tomatoes. Just right. Others enjoy the Burgers and French dip. The atmosphere here is deceptive. It truly does look Itty Bitty. With an small open air area with maybe 20 tables and a bar. With black walls and murals painted on them. It is eccentric. There's a single door on the back wall that I thought went to the bathroom and the kitchen. Turns out to be an even bigger restraint/bar side with even more tables and another bar area, this one all inside and the more classic bar look. They proudly call themselves a dive bar. I ordered the Bbq Wagyu Meatloaf ($22). This is a BBQ meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes sided with roasted carrots, finished with mushroom gravy, topped with fried onions, and served with garlic toast. It comes in a small cast Iron pan with the mashed potatoes on the bottom, a okay size slice of meatloaf on top and finished with some gravy. I thought it was okay. It was probably better than average. I doubt I would order it again though. The mashed potatoes were also very average. Not smooth or creamy, but taste was again okay. Normally I don't like carrots, I did like these so there's that. The person I was with ordered the Itty Bitty Burger ($13). It was declared to be okay, but they'd had much better. Personally I thought it looked small. The service was very good. Very friendly and they kept my drink full. So the best part of visit. Overall a 3 star review. Would I return? I reviewed Itty Bitty on 10/2/2024. I couldn't help but think I was missing out on something great, and it's so close to home. I went back on Saturday, June 21. I had a completely different experience. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Our bartender said there was no cocktail menu, but she could most likely make anything we requested. She did! She made an excellent peach margherita, and a rum runner for my husband. Later on I ventured back to ordering the nachos on the menu. I can't help myself. I love nachos and the birria nachos were calling. These were completely different (thank goodness) from my first experience. I'm sold. We didn't try any other menu items on this visit, but we will return to try more. read more

I normally like to visit this place and they have good food and drink. I called earlier in the day to confirm when they start carding for entry since my family was in town and we wanted to visit. My sibling is 20, so I called and was told 10 pm. We make our 20 minute walk down to Itty Bitty and get there at 9:10 and were turned away at the door by the bouncer who said they start 21+ at 9pm. It's incredibly frustrating when I called to confirm just to make sure we had time, walk all the way down with my family visiting from out of town, and embarrassing to get turned away once we arrive. We ran into another family of 6 walking up to enter and let them know it's 21+. They said they thought that started at 10pm, thanked us and said they were heading to McDonald's instead. We made our 20 min walk back home. I was very excited to show my family itty bitty, but I'm very frustrated with how today went. read more

I've been here many times, but I have to say in most recent years the quality of this joint has really declined. The second to last time I went was during the Fall and our waitress greeted us with a shirt with two pumpkins on her breast area and the shirt read "If you like my pumpkins, you should see my pie". Very inappropriate. More times than not our food usually comes with hair in it which is very disgusting. We once ordered the "bubbling beer cheese dip" for an appetizer and it came over flat, lukewarm, and crusted over. The whole place itself is dirty, greasy, and stinky. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. Just seeing their PUBLIC health violations make me want to gag! The burgers used to be delicious, but now they are mediocre and extremely salty. Biked to Itty Bitty Bar from the state campgrounds. It's not itty bitty inside and they are self-proclaimed dive bar. Beautiful interior. Wasn't busy for a Saturday afternoon though it's still off season. Nine of us found seating and waited for service. Bartenders are running the service and fairly slow but it was ok. They were friendly and took care of us. The food was really tasty. The draft list is small and there was no other list of bottled beers. The sangria was too sweet for me. More like a cocktail w lemonade is what it tasted like. We would have ordered more drinks but the food came out in odd order and he got busy otherwise. The kids' burgers were perfect. Skip the pizza. I took one bite and wanted to spit it out. It looked really good but it was cardboard crust and tasteless. The mussels were spicy with the sausage and veg stuff in it. Found this place after watching the sunset at Holland lighthouse. We arrived and set down quickly. Waitress warned us that the kitchen was 30min. behind. We appreciated her honesty but we were staying. I had the french dip and the flavor of the beef and the au jus were so tasty. This came with a ton of fries which were good but I am not a big french fry fan. The bar has a fun atmosphere and was great for watching many football games. This is a gem of a place and the title of 'Five Stars Dive Bar,' fits the bill. Itty Bitty is sort of an elevated dive bar with a good, fun atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. I was in Holland, MI, and after spending some time at the beach, my family and I were hungry for a good meal. We wanted to go to a brewery that also served food but the nearby ones were either all fully reserved or closed for the day. So while looking up places that served burgers and beers, I came across Itty Bitty and based on the reviews and photos, I was curious about this place. When you get here, there are a couple of dining areas and a patio to select from for where you want to sit. You don't have to wait to be seated according to our server. We sat in the main dining room near the bar and across from tv monitors. The menu was good and the beer variety was great. I ordered the Itty Bitty Burger and Old Nation Helles Lager, and my wife order a Garlic Mashed Potato Quesadilla. The food took a bit to be served but when it arrived, it was well worth the wait. My burger with cream, melted cheese was phenomenal. It was juicy and full of flavor. It came in a steamed bun with sweet onion and a side of fresh cut fries. The cheeseburger was super delicious and was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I would highly recommend getting it. The fries were fresh. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And it was pleasure to wash it all down with a refreshing pint of Old Nation Helles Lager. The quesadilla was massive. It was stuffed with pulled pork, hickory smoked bacon, poblano peppers, goat and cheddar cheeses and topped with apple chutney which had an interesting and delicious touch to the quesadilla. This was an awesome dish too. We enjoyed it. Also recommended. Overall, we had a wonderful time and experience here. We really liked the food as it was flavorful and delicious and although, service was kind of slow, it was still good. They were busy. Yum! We had friends recommend Itty Bitty Bar and finally made it out to try. This is a cool and very chill atmosphere if you want drinks or food or both. The service was friendly, quick and responsive. The best part was the food. The French dip and burger were very good. A couple in our party got pizzas which were ok. No longer a 5 star dive bar... Sadly the menu is a shadow of its former self. Not sure when this happened but for those who loved their nearly gourmet cooking and unusually cool dishes with bourbon marinated hanger steak, ahi tuna, and roasted bone marrow, you won't find them here any more. Like every other bar you can choose from a few salads, handhelds, fish &chips, etc. but I no longer can recommend the pizza which used to be sooooo good. It's now served on a crust thin like a cracker and without fresh toppings (fun guy pizza had obviously canned or just simply bland mushrooms). Heartbreak. read more

I recently decided I would try something off the menu and ordered the chili...it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice (heat) and so much flavor. I followed that up with the itty bitty burger and fries. It came with a cheese that melted right into the tender meat and grilled onion. Very simple yet tasty. He loved them and you get a good portion. I had the BBQ meatloaf! Look at all the mashed potatoes! Again 5 star dish. My son got the buttermilk chicken handheld. That was disappointing. A Sunday afternoon trip to Holland and we discovered a lot of restaurants were closed. After searching we found the Itty Bitty Bar was opened and when we called they said they had tables open. We missed the restaurant and had to turn around, but I'm so glad we found it. It definitely isn't the fanciest, but the food was fabulous. I had the Garlic Mashed Potato Quesadillas which was stuffed with pulled pork, bacon, roasted peppers, goat & cheddar jack cheese and topped with a wonderful apple chutney. It was so delicious. Beware the portion is huge. D opted for the French Dip and he said it was one of the most tender roast beef sandwiches he ever had. Our server and also the bartender, Tommie, was great. She was friendly, funny, and just made you feel welcomed. The Bloody Mary & White Russian she made for us were spot on. This is becoming an annual spot for our family gatherings- so maybe a little a gracious on the rating but then again the only negative was a wait on the food (which they warn about on menu but this situation was different). The adult entrees came out and were nearly finished before the kids food came out, which was bizarre and definitely made the kids more restless and upset/grumpy. However, everything was very tasty. Definitely a dive bar feel but very open and airy seating on one side. Food gets consistently rave reviews and we did a build your own pizza and were happy with the deliciously prepared pie! All food is made from scratch. It gets busy so first come first serve. Don't look like much from the outside but give it a chance and it'll surprise you. While it is definitely not inexpensive to eat here, there are more expensive restaurants locally. I'd say it's average as far as price.
