Ok... the location of this spot is sort of odd. It's in a strip mall that looks like it has seen better days. However, the reviews were good so we ventured in... and I'm glad we did as the inside is extremely inviting and the food was great! First of all - there's a kid's waiting area with snacks!! What an amazing idea! We sat quickly and ordered. I had the salmon entree - which was not the prettiest looking plate but wow, was it good! Cooked well and the vegetables that were steamed on the side were perfectly cooked also. Burgers looked good and everyone ate swiftly so I assume everyone's meals were delicious. Service was friendly and swift (but didn't rush us) and this spot even had clean bathrooms (which is a huge plus for a restaurant). Price is reasonable especially for the portion sizes. First off, this is the PLACE for toddlers! We had about a 10 minute wait when we got here, and there was a chalkboard, board books, and Goldfish crackers for my son??? Holy!! Yessss! We were in from out of town so this was our first visit. Every single thing we ordered was excellent. I personally had the salmon with the remoulade baked on top. It was so creamy and fish was cooked perfectly. I loved the bread and butter as well as the side salad and veggies. I ordered my 3-yo a kids meal with chicken tenders and broccoli. We've been going to CH for years. You know it will be busy, you know they have a solid menu, and you know that you won't have to wait long for your meal (efficiency). We enjoyed the rolls and salad (like an old school steakhouse), ribs (dynamite, as advertised), burger, prime rib, and skewered shrimp. Margaritas were on special....and hey, we had a few. Crazy Horse is one of those places that feels comfortable the second you walk in. The décor is straight up western, from the wood siding throughout the restaurant to the overall saddle up and stay awhile vibe. It feels authentic without trying too hard. After we sat down, we noticed dollar bills pinned to the walls and asked our waitress about it. She explained that the money goes toward helping people in the community who are going through hard times, health issues or other struggles. That alone says a lot about the heart behind this place. It is refreshing to see a restaurant genuinely give back. Then I opened the menu and was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were. I ordered the prime rib with a side salad, and our waitress strongly suggested hashbrowns for my second side. Thankfully, I listened. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, the salad was solid for a steakhouse, but those hashbrowns were the real star. Crispy on top and perfectly cooked in the middle, they were downright addictive. We just moved to the area and found our new hometown favorite restaurant! Ordered the Friday Prime Rib special and it did not disappoint. It was super deelicious, and I can't wait to have it again!! My husband had one of their burgers with their uniquely styled onion rings. The entrance had an interesting way of greeting people, and the set-up for Black Friday gift card shopping was genius! The booths offered privacy and gave us the perfect place for great conversation. Uniquely folded dollar bills pinned to each booth was entertaining and productive -- contributing to a great cause. I really want to celebrate my birthday at Crazy Horse this weekend, but they're closed on my birthday, which falls on a Sunday this year. Their birthday special is a discount equivalent to your age. Came in for a birthday lunch with a party of 8. They were able to get us seated quickly. I honestly wasn't expecting much from a steakhouse in Holland but they got me! Food was great; outstanding selection and prices and even though my steak was overcooked, it was really good... seasoned perfectly with no fat or gristle. The mashed potatoes? we had a reservation on Saturday night for six for my in-laws 40th anniversary. we got a text about 15 minutes prior to seeing our table is ready and we were immediately seated in a large booth. Waitress quickly greeted us and took our drink order. we got two different craft beers, a gin cocktail, and some Diet Coke. We ordered the onion bites and mozzarella Square appetizer. We've always enjoyed our meals at Crazy Horse. Yesterday my wife and I each ordered a prime rib dinner. The sides (salad and baked potato) were great as they usually are, but we were each served the worst slice of prime rib that I have EVER seen. THey were not prime rib with a bit of fat, they were fat with a bit of prime rib. At least half of both slices were nothing but solid chunks of fat. At least half of both slices were inedible. I've never sent food back in a restaurant, but in retrospect, both dinners should have never been served to a customer. The quality of the prime rib is certainly out of the control of the restaurant, but if that is all they had available, I wish they would have just said we are out of prime rib tonight so we could have ordered something else. read more

Love the charity work for families with the dollar bills left by patrons. It was a local family with a member fighting cancer when we went. Very cool idea. The murals on the walls were beautiful. We were just looking for a quick dinner close to home and decided to try it out. Listen...I was surprised at how good my steak was! I got the Cowboy Ribeye which is a 13-ounce cut of meat with Cajun seasoning covered in crispy onion strips. It was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and just magic overall (because I made it disappear!). I think it made such an impression because I had just been to a chain steak place and the steak was awful. So bad that our server agreed lol. The service was good and it's a casual place. My wife and I were remarking about the dollar bills pinned to the board on the wall by our table. I hate to think that someone would help themselves and take instead of pinning one up there. We came for a birthday celebration and the food is still great! Our kids get a free meal on their birthdays every year here and they love coming here. The kids meals come with good portion sizes and is reasonably priced. I always get the branded sizzler and the frickles which is fried pickles. The service is also really pleasant and relatively quick. Overall, we always have a really great experience here.
