Ordered vegan chicken wings with lemon peper (fried cauliflower) and their chicken teriyaki bowl with veggies via grub hub. The "wings" were WAAYYYY too salty, which is a shame because the cauliflower was fried nicely. The teriyaki bowl came in a box and the bottom was SOAKED WITH OIL! The plastic bag was flooded with a layer of oil which honestly shocked me because I don't know how so much oil could've gotten there... The food is fresh and tasty. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, always have a great experience when I go. My favorite thing to get from here is definitely the south west chicken sandwich or the breakfast burritos. All the cashiers are very friendly and willing to assist in any way. Buffalo chicken cheese fries is always my go to. I work down the street now and it's such a terrible experience every time I've go. I found out that it's now newly owned and operated (which explains my terrible experience/service). The Buffalo fries don't even taste the same and it breaks my heart. They do have some interesting candies and a wide assortment of bottled/canned drink options. The sandwiches are fantastic, so don't skip out on those. I'm giggling at the reviews saying how Buffalo Chicken Cheese Fries (BCCF) are disgusting/regretful to eat when sober. I eat it sober all the time. Is it delicious? 100% yes. Do I regret it after? Also yes....because I feel like I'll need to gym at least a million times a day to take off all the calories I just consumed. But honestly, it's worth it. Because it's THAT good. And it's even better when you're drunk (what isn't?). What's also friggin' amazing is the FAT GAUCHO. Oh my. The sautéed onions in this thing are amazing. And when you take a bite that encompasses all the ingredients (chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, bbq sauce, pastrami, sautéed onions....idk what else???), you might have a foodgasm moment. And let out a "aauuUUGgggHHHH soOoo GOOooD." I'm not even kidding. Beware. The chili cheese fries and the curly fries are also great. Yes. These things are also very amazing. Food takes a year and a half to make because they make everything from scratch (that's how you know it'll be good). So I always call ahead before picking up the heavenly goods. Service is whatever. They also have a wide variety of household staples like soaps, cleaning supplies, and toiletries at average bodega prices. The real store highlights are hard to find snacks and deserts, like Dippin Dots and niche drinks. What keeps me coming back, however, is the Deli itself. The food is far from gourmet, but it's highly satisfying for a fair price. The variety is massive, from burritos to falafel to burgers and anything in between. Their novelty French fries are great, my guilty I pleasure is the gyro fries. The only reason this review got 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the wait times. When ordering anything but the staples, you will be waiting at least 15 minutes. If it's busy (which it often is late at night) you should expect to be waiting at least half an hour. The food certainly is worth it compared to most IV offerings, but don't expect it to be as snappy as the store layout suggests. read more

The cashier girls lie through their teeth and made us wait for an hour, made us wait until CLOSING TIME AT 3AM. Our order was done and waiting for god knows how long and we NEVER ONCE HEARD our number called out like everybody else's order. [[[Note that we were standing inside the store, 10ft from the cook line and 20ft away from the cashier]]] When we asked why they didn't announce our number or even called our phone, they said that they did. I don't understand how outrageously lying to your customer is acceptable. Next time try not to look so smug while lying through your teeth. The owner lumbers around his store at closing time, went through undelivered orders and VERBALLY ASSAULTED one of the cashier girls for it. Once again broke ADA law guy who is younger employee screams at me literally yelling and almost sleeping across the counter at me that I can't bring dogs in there when my dog is clearly demarcated in a bright red vest with triple patches and I've just gone over schooling them less than in the last few weeks about this. Just ordered from IV deli mart for the first time and it does not make me want to do it again. A friend and I were hungry around 10 PM so we decided to order something small and have it delivered. It got here relatively quickly, but everything else went wrong. They mixed up our receipt with someone else so we ended up with the wrong order. Finally, the other customer came back to swap orders. I'm not sure how they got mixed up considering our order was considerably smaller than theirs. After that, we realized there was no receipt in the bag. Since we were paying with cash, we needed the receipt to check the price. The delivery guy had to call the restaurant to check how much our order was. At this point, our order really should have been comped. It was freezing outside and our food was already cold. To top things off, we finally sit down to eat and notice that one of our chicken tenders had a bite taken out of it. Nice... Needless to say, service is awful here.
