Couple of hours later (mostly thawing time because the thing was frozen up like a popsicle) and a few new parts and it's done. Extremely fair pricing (a bit low if you ask me). My last set of washer/dryers lasted 28 years thanks to occasional repairs by Ken. He most recently fixed my over-the-range microwave/convection oven and ordered a magnetron after doing a preliminary evaluation. After the part arrived he returned and took it off the wall and removed the full housing cover he was able to test it more thoroughly and replace an inexpensive part. Even though he special ordered the magnetron he did not charge me for it or for his cost to hold it in inventory. Ken is the kind of professional you want in your house. He's pleasant, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and good about keeping his commitments.
