I made an appointment for Pro First to repair my freezer. They made an appointment on a day they said a technician would be in my area. They waited and then cancelled the appointment. The only explanation they gave me was that they didn't want to come to my location. Because they waited, I have to start again at square one and I have a freezer full of food going bad!!! read more

My whole experience with Pro First was Awesome. First the Lady who books the appointment was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable,polite and extremely professional. Accomodations were made because my family and I had Covid and appointment dates were adjusted accordingly. I appreciated that this process went so smoothly. The mechanic was very professional and personable as well . He arrived when promised and the company calls to tell you when the mechanic will arrive as well. NEVER EVER, REPEAT, NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR APPLIANCE DAMAGED AND THEN BLAMED ON YOU. Just like the other reviewer - they were sent by Electrolux to repair my convection microwave. The end result is they damaged the mounting nuts (and bolts) when trying to re-install it without removing the cabinet hinges. then told me I had done it! In addition he had lost one of the mounting nuts from the inside of the case - which is impossible for me to do since I have never taken it apart. It was installed perfectly when he arrived and the bolts unscrewed easily when removing it. The guy had the worst customer service attitude I have ever experienced, so I told him to leave. I called Electrolux and they told me it was my responsibility to go after the service technician - even though they sent him!!! Before he arrived I had an installed functioning microwave (except for a sensor). Now I have a damaged microwave sitting on the counter. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! read more

See my photos of what my dishes looked like AFTER Pro First fixed my dishwasher. The way he 'fixed' it was to tell me to clean it with vinegar and use less soap. It didn't work. Dishes are dirtier coming out than going in. After he finally came back a month later (1 missed appointment and refusing to ever call me) he refused to take it apart to see what was really wrong. Just repeated that I need to clean it better and use still less soap than the 1 tablespoon that we have been meticulously measuring. Actually, he claims that nothing is wrong with it but user error. This company is completely incompetent! I had to go through them because that is where my hone warranty sent me. They took 2 months to diagnose and order wrong parts for the microwave in my house only to physically remove it and then say they cannot do anything to fix it and it needs to be replaced. Fine... I go through the warranty company and get a new microwave. It was assigned back to Pro-First Appliance to install (because they are listed with the warranty company for installs) only they don't install. So now I have a microwave sitting with the tenants and no one to install it. I figure I would call and maybe they just don't install for the warranty company. Nope... they do not install at all! What kind of appliance company does not install appliances?! I asked for recommendations and all I got was "sorry." Stay away from them!!! read more

They were supposed to fix/replace my freezer door. When the guy came back to put the new door on, he beat the parts on that didn't go on right. Now my freezer door howls every time we close it and the refrigerator door, the water dispenser leaks, and the water comes out sideways. When I called to have them come back out to fix those things, the guy decided to arrive and leave 35 mins before my appointment time (so I wasn't home yet). I got home 10 mins before my appointment time and found the message he left almost 30 mins before saying he was there and I needed to reschedule. I called them immediately and they wouldn't answer the phones. I had to call them for weeks before they finally answered (today). Told me I had to call AHS to get a new appointment. Now waiting on Pro First to call to schedule AGAIN. RIDICULOUS! ***Update- Pro First never called. They had the nerve to lie to AHS that I missed 2 appointments and requested they send someone else. AHS couldn't tell me when these supposed missed appointments happened (go figure). Real reason, they know I would've cussed their butts out when they came. They do Home warranty repairs and now I know why! They are terrible so thats probably the only source they can get. Especially Chris who has been coming to my house for 2 years now and every time I either wait weeks for parts or the appliance still has issues. Stay away! read more

Don't Use Pro First Appliance Repair !! I had an issue with my dryer and contacted American Home Shield who got in contact with Pro First Appliance. After the dryer wasn't correctly fixed the first time, I waited around for 2 days and no one showed up on the recall repair. I called AHS who got them to come out on a Saturday(the technician was very nice) but said he had to come back out with the right part and said I was on the schedule. Again to my dismay no one came out, no phone call,nothing. After constantly trying to get a hold of someone at Pro First-I had to call from a co workers phone because I got the feeling I was being ignored and to my surprise...someone answers.Long story short the lady on the other line had no concern and refused to give me the contact info for the tech or owner and said she could put me on the schedule for the next day then quickly took it back and basically said sorry. Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, it's seriously a joke-Ashton Kutcher can come out now. read more

I did not read reviews on Yelp prior to using Pro First!! My bad!! Every review I have read on Pro First Appliance Repair has been horrible. I called Samsung and spoke with a Samsung Repair person that understood exactly what was wrong with my appliance. So when Pro First came out and said I had broken my appliance by incorrect use, I just had to laugh at his incompetence (he said he could not fix it). Samsung, the manufacturer of my appliance, completely DISAGREED. So a Sears Repair person ordered the part and fixed my appliance immediately without any difficulty. Wow! Pro First is incompetent and only creates more problems for you. read more

My LG he washer was not eliminating all of the water and the drum started to smell moldy. I called Pro First and they sent someone out the next day. He fixed my washer and gave me tips on how to maintain the machine to avoid future problems. I just had to pay the $79 service call and now my washer works like knew. I will definitely call Pro First if I have any issues with other appliances! read more
