For context: I had two issues: (1) My GE dishwasher started leaking, damaging a good portion of the bamboo flooring around and in front of the unit, and (2) My newly installed Daikin mini split which stopped cooling/heating, just fanning air!. Unfortunately today I had the opposite experience. Communication was sub par, I had to repeatedly ask the same question 3 times to get an answer about if their $95 consult fee was included in the cost of repairs. They told me Yes but only if the repair can be done in the same visit. But that was not the case last time they came, back in April, they arrived in the morning diagnosed the issue then left to get the part and came back a few hours later to fix it and the consult fee was included in the price. If you come today around 4-6pm and need to get a part you most likely won't be able to get that part till the next day.. sounds like a quick way to make an extra $95 especially when you originally told me you would come tomorrow and then say you can actually come tonight but not answer my question about the consult fee until the third time of me asking. Just left a bad taste in my mouth, most companies will include there consult fee in the cost of repairs no matter if they fix it that day or the next. If you are researching companies to help you with your appliance repairs, this company Is definitely capable of doing so but make sure to get clear answers to your questions before proceeding with Sams or you might just get scammed.
