I was visiting the Willamette Valley, rightfully known as the valley of sickness, because of its overwhelming pollen releases. I was there to help my family, but I had a huge allergic reaction to the pollen and became bedridden. It occurred to me that a local might be able to help me , so I went to this shop. Even though I wasn't buying anything, the proprietor was very kind and helpful. She told me about an urgent care in a neighboring town where I could get some help. She was a godsend. Also, the crystals and other items that she was selling were very beautiful and I wish that I had had the time to purchase some. Super nice folks! I had dropped my wallet on the sidewalk nearby, and some Good Sams took it to this shop. Lacking an obvious way to track me down, they went to some trouble to get in touch with me, and now I have my wallet back! I am super appreciative of them, and their efforts. Really fantastic. An absolutely amazing fossil/gemstone shop. My partner and I got lucky to talk to Morgan who helped us out by packing this giant stingray fossil for a 12 hour drive back home. She has some great knowledge (make sure to ask about the space rocks) and is so helpful and sweet. There's some beautiful specimens - so many that we kept picking up more and more every minute we were in the store. We started off with 2 fossils and ended up leaving with 3 more rocks and a necklace. We really appreciate the time she took to show us her additional fossils and rocks she had stored away. I took my 9 year old grandson here. He drives by it with mom everyday but has never been able to actually go to it. They have lots of rocks, crystals and fossils to look at and/or buy. Most of all I was so impressed by Morgan, one of the owners, on how she spoke with my grandson. He loves all of it and she really wanted to help him learn. Parked in front of this business and watched as the sales associate took the electric blower and blew the leaves and debris from the sidewalk onto my car and the cars in front of and behind me. No attempt to contain the debris and blow to the end of the sidewalk where no one was parked. read more

Nice little store with a decent selection of rocks. I found the owner to be nice and very informative about the things we were looking at. I showed him a piece of Mookite that I had gotten at another store and he hadn't seen one like this before. I ended up buying a Popcorn Rock which sounds like it will be fun to experiment with. read more

My 10 year old son is very interested in rocks, and the sets that I could buy online are becoming boring to him. Stopped in this shop to see if they had something he might like, and was blown away by the selection. The owner is very very knowledgeable and friendly, and gave us a tour, explaining much about the different types of rocks and gems that he carries. He made us very excited to bring the boy in and we got a gift card so he can come get the tour himself and make his own selections. We found interesting items starting at $5 all the way up to thousands of dollars, with so many options in between. He has books and jewelry, knick knacks and shelves to put them on, even an entire room devoted to rocks that glow! If you know someone who is a fan of rocks and gems bring them in! I stopped here on my way back from Silver Falls. The shop was nicely organized and the crystals and stones were well displayed. The pricing was in-line with other stores I've shopped at and the owner was perhaps a tad bit eccentric but really nice guy who wanted very much to explain as much as he could about the stones. He is a fossil lover first and foremost and I am not a collector so I don't know much about his wares as far as real or any of that is concerned but he knows his stuff where the Rocks/Stones/Crystals are concerned. read more

My sister and I were visiting from California and came across this neat little shop! Love the selection they have! And the owner is very friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and helpful! Very inviting. Made sure we knew if we had any questions to ask! He made the experience fun. & when informing us, he definitely knew what he was talking about.
