Just like for another reviewer on Google,  Jordans reset my diamonds very poorly. The staff were pleasant and cost-conscious while planning my ring. But the ring came back a mess. The diamonds were irregularly spaced, tilted at different angles, set at irregular heights and they snagged on everything. The ring is too embarrassing to wear. They were unwilling to make any corrections without charging me and offered no compensation of any kind for my deep disappointment and expense. They blamed the problem on the varied sizes of the diamonds. If that were the problem, they should have told me they could only make an ugly ring with them.  They displayed no pride in their craft or responsibility for their sale. I took the ugly ring to Richard Gretz Goldsmith who is redesigning it from scratch with my diamonds at less than what Jordans charged me. And Gretz offers a guarantee that if I dislike the ring for any reason I get my money back. I wish I had seen the other woman's review before I took my diamonds to Jordan's. read more

To all it may concern, My wife and I were looking for a diamond anniversary eternity ring in 14 karat gold. We were in the market for a little over 3 weeks. Yesterday we went to Smith Haven Mall and went to Ethan Jordan Jewelers. We were looking at the styles we had in mind and a gentleman by the name of Steven approached us and started showing us various styles. We really liked the channel style setting with the 2.85 carats in diamonds. We told him that we have been looking for a while and most of the rings they have seen had either yellowish color, or, quite heavy imperfections. The one we chose and purchased was a better quality than what we had seen elsewhere for about the same price. We really trusted Steven and felt very comfortable with him and the company that we went ahead and did the purchase. My husband hurt his hand the week of Christmas & had to cut his wedding ring off his finger. We got the ring back quickly, on New Years Eve. Jordan's Jewelers did a beautiful repair! They never disappoint! They were hesitant to size it because they couldn't use his hand because of swelling but we wanted it sized 1/2 larger than what it originally was. Brad and Jordan Jewelers are the best! My husband bought my wedding ring, here. We have purchased watches, and had them repair a watch we bought elsewhere (because the jeweler of the other shop would not service their own products). I bought a vintage ring here at a fantastic price. The stone was loose, and eventually popped out of the ring. I brought the ring back to Brad, expecting to pay for a replacement stone - but he identified a flaw in the setting and replaced the stone for free. Seriously. Who does that? The ladies who work there are always so nice. And, they have a resident shop dog - Tug - an adorable golden retriever. read more

This is my first yelp review- that right there should tell you how great of an experience I had with Brad at Jordan Jewelers. I recently lost the diamond out of my wedding ring which my husband bought at a store in CA. We came to Jordan Jewelers just to price some replacements and see what they could do. Brad was so nice and informative. He showed us a few diamond options and didn't try to up-sale us which spoke volumes to me. We ended up deciding on a replacement with Brads help. I always get nervous with big purchases, but Brad promised it would look great and if I didn't like it we could change the stone. Next day (talk about fast) I went to pick up my ring and I couldn't be happier! New stone looks amazing plus Brad fixed some original issues my ring had from the beginning. My husband had the best experience when selecting my engagement ring from Jordan Jewelers. So much so that we returned for both our wedding bands. When I asked (two separate occasions) to see the matching band for my ring, I was told a picture could not be found in the system. I was encouraged to go with a custom piece, which I did. I watched as they measured the diamonds on my engagement ring and I asked if the wedding band would match. The ring is dainty and I was concerned it wouldn't be a match. When I went to pick up the custom piece I was disappointed. They attached the two pieces and I gave it a chance, but they weren't fitted properly and the diamond size difference was too much. I asked that they remove the band and left feeling mislead and let down. I returned for a cleaning and voiced my frustration, but I was told that since it was a custom piece, that's all they could do. I was told at that time that they couldn't have gone smaller on the diamonds even if they wanted to. They suggested that if I want a match, I should go through the ring company. I don't have that luxury since I've already invested $1050 in this band. I wish they would have been upfront and honest about what they could or could not do for me. We enjoyed our time at Jordan's but I would not recommend getting custom work done here. The attention to detail and honesty with customers is not there. read more

I took my engagement ring in to be sized over a year ago, but my review was deleted by the business that was left on google. I would like others to know the business practice before attempting to get a ring sized. My ring lost a diamond a week after the ring was sized. After taking it to another jeweler is was found that the reason behind this was because they were charging me for a sizing that includes a full cut and size up, but instead they only stretched my ring out. It was miss-shaped completely. It was not purchased at Jordan jewelers so I would like to preface this. I did go back to get a quote and to ask why the diamond had fallen out, and or if it would have been covered under a craftsmanship policy etc. she handed me a pamphlet and said, "getting insurance on a ring is a good idea." I couldn't even believe that they would not, 1, refund me, as my ring was damaged by their lack of knowledge on sizing up to my size, and 2 didn't even think to apologize. Please do not buy or size rings here. I'm not doing this out of spite, but to inform others of the customer service that is given to someone there, and because Christmas is right around the corner. read more

I have had difficulty figuring out what jeweler to use after our move to Salem; most reviews are pretty mediocre. After reading several great reviews on Jordan Jewelers, I decided to give it a try by allowing them clean my ring. They were friendly, informative and were gracious enough to clean my ring with no purchase on my end. I will be bringing a couple repairs in within the next couple weeks and look forward to seeing their work first hand. read more
