Ivy Builders is the best! I was looking to do something different in the backyard and I'm glad I went with them. They helped me plan out a nice grill spot I could use for parties and family stuff. Michael was super helpful with every step of the way. They took care of business and honestly I don't think I could be any happier with how great everything came out.

Before you hire "The Catio Guy" or "Catopia" give Ivy Builders a call. We wanted to enclose an already covered patio and turn it into a catio. We contacted several companies that either couldn't build it , didn't want to or were overly expensive. Ivy took on the challenge by taking our rudimentary drawing, asking questions, taking measurements and building us a gem. The team of Michael, Matt, and Nick took our ideas and gave us an estimate. They were also in daily communication with us whether in person or via text. They sent Fernando and Steven to do the work. These two guys do exceptional work. Fernando can take a concept of an idea and build just what you were looking for. He and Steven worked many days in the heat only stopping for a quick lunch. (And, maybe, a Home Depot run) They are professional, organized, friendly, open to changes and suggestions and extremely skilled. Fernando had enclosed a patio before but had not built perches or bridges. He even did some of the building at home and would show up with exactly what we had in mind. They tossed trash and cleaned up daily. We and the cats love the final product.

At one time there was one company that I would always use to assemble furniture for me, but I no longer use that company. L&P Development is now the company that I contact whenever I need something assembled. Their quotes have always been lower than the other quotes on Yelp. I also like how the owner personally answers the Yelp messages within a timely manner. The technician (Miles) called before coming to my house to inform me that he was on his way. The item that he had to assemble was defective from the shipping, but he was able to resolve the problem. I was very happy with L&P Development's technician. In fact, I just scheduled another appointment. Kudos to L&P Development and Miles! UPDATE: The first time around, I gave L&P Development 5 stars. The second time around, I am giving 5 stars again! I have now used L&P Development for the second time. This time, I was fortunate to have Gerrit as the technician. Gerrit was AWESOME! He had a WONDERFUL personality. Service with a SMILE!... I ended up giving Gerrit the amount that was previously quoted by someone else that was higher than L&P Development, because he went over and beyond. I would highly recommend L&P Development.

I am extremely impressed with L and P Development. Gerrit called me days ahead of schedule to confirm the appointment and then called to let me know her was on his way. He arrived early, broke the ice with humor and went straight to work on my spin bike. He was able to trouble shoot the problem with the design which affected the function of the spin bike. Most service providers would have suggest a contact to the manufactures about the screeching sound against the bike frame. Gerrit went to his truck and returned with an additional tool to eliminate the noise. I plan on using L and P Development for other repairs and part which need assembling in the near future.

I was very weary about the Amazon install service reading a bunch of bad experiences but went ahead and ordered it. L&P was on point even though I had to reschedule 3x due to Amazon shipping a damaged grill, then sending a stationary training bike and then UPS leaving my grill at the warehouse on the 3rd attempt. Gerrit was straight up awesome he removed my old grill which we thought we needed to shut off the gas to the house but he did it in 10 mins without problem. He put the grill together in a no time. Definitely will use him for other things that may come up and that they can handle and definitely recommend their services. They are prompt, friendly, courteous and about their business!

O& P called me the day before and the day of the service to confirm best time to arrive, and even though I couldn't find the the manual (not sure if even came in the box), he was able to assemble my new grill super fast! I wish I could give Ivy's Builders ten stars because five simply isn't enough! They just finished a complete gut-and-remodel of our Newport Beach home and the transformation is absolutely breathtaking. From the moment we signed the contract to the day they handed us the keys, everything was flawless. Communication was incredible - we got daily photo updates, weekly walkthroughs, and they actually answered texts and calls, even on weekends when I was second-guessing tile selections. Their in-house designer has an amazing eye; she helped us create a coastal-modern look that feels fresh yet completely livable, and the finished house looks straight out of a magazine while still feeling like home. The craftsmanship is honestly museum-quality. Every subcontractor was clearly top-tier - the tile work is perfectly level, the custom cabinetry and built-ins are flawless, the new wide-plank European oak floors glow, and the paint finish doesn't have a single imperfection. We now have our dream kitchen with a massive island, La Cornue range, and a hidden pantry, plus a spa-like primary bath with the freestanding tub we always wanted overlooking the yard. Most importantly, they finished on time and stayed remarkably close to budget with almost no surprise change orders. The crew protected our floors like Fort Knox, cleaned up every single day, and were genuinely friendly and respectful the entire time. Just realized that this never posted, but I did want to ensure I left a review because I still remember how amazing the service was! I loved the service so much the first time around that I decided to continue using L&P for my dining table. Evan and his assistant Simone came to assemble my table and were kind and professional. The dynamic duo finished the job incredibly fast. They also cleaned up the surrounding area and removed the boxes from my apartment. The table looks amazing and I couldn't be more pleased. Garrit was highly professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job mounting our two tvs. One thing to know is that this company does not do electrical work, so we will have to have an outlet installed behind the tv by someone else to hide the cord. I forgot to previously also mention this table gerrit put together for us. Amazon didn't ask if we needed assembly but it doesn't matter because now we just go straight to L&P for any assembly request or office updates. While gerrit was there we realized we also needed a tv stand to be put up so I asked gerrit if it was possible. Luckily. Erika (Who is so nice and pleasant to work with for appointments) was able to adjust our request and add on the service. We felt accomplished. Thanks L&P!!!. read more

This was a really easy appointment! Despite all the delays in receiving the headboard from Amazon L&P was really great in contacting me and being patient with it. Once the headboard finally arrived they were at my door the next day and Dylan had it installed in less than hour. I would recommend them! I will also be calling them when I need to mount a flat screen on the wall. read more

We had a couple of items that need to be fixed from ikea. 2 headboards and 2 dressers. Gerrit was the man that built our things, and he was absolutely fantastic. First of all, he was on time which is very important and did things very efficiently. He was extremely friendly and and was also very friendly with my dog. As a dog owner I'm always worried about people coming into my home with a dog, but he was extremely cool and friendly about it. Overall, fantastic service and he did a terrific job with the items. A bit pricey. As the 4 items cost around $350. But, service was fantastic! read more

Overall a 5 stars experience. They contacted me withing 10 hours after the order and scheduled the appointment for the time spot that I asked for. one day earlier to the appointment they called to confirm, and make sure the mount has arrived The technician itself was great! I think his name was Tom, young and very nice gentleman, mounted my tv within 30 minutes and it's look great! even vacuumed after himself! Great experience read more

Jake and his crew completed a rather large project on our new construction home that took…read moreapproximately 10 months (pool , spa, firepit, outdoor kitchen, custom pergola, front, back and side yards, water features, landscaping, etc...etc.., but it was well worth the time and cost. We purchased a home in a new development, so we vetted many different companies to build all the features we wanted on an empty canvas (ie: dirt lot). Our budget was around $290-$360k. We got around 6 bids, which we narrowed down to 3. Out of the 3, Jake gave us the most confidence in his knowledge and eye for details. We visited some of his previous projects and were thoroughly impressed. A lot of our neighbors used competitors that were cheaper, but when we saw their completed projects, you could see a lot of corners that were cut and the shoddy quality. Some look down right terrible. The majority were unhappy with the work provided by those companies. The crews were constantly changing on the same projects (subbed out to 3rd party) and there was no post-completion support. I know that there have been lawsuits filed on some of the projects. Our home, on the otherhand, has been the highlight of our neighborhood and we have people constantly taking pictures and asking for details on Jake. Not just because of the design itself, but also because of his hardworking crew. We've been beyond happy with Jake and his team and love showing off our new outdoor space. Echo was at the top end of our budget, but the quality is A+++ and 100% worth it. He didn't cut any corners and his crew pulled 10-12 hour days, 6 days a week, for 10 months. Best thing is that Jake personally checked the quality of the work on a regular basis. If anything was off by a tiny bit, Jake redid it to make it perfect. I consider myself to be detail oriented, almost to the point of being unbearable, but I never had to worry about the work being done because of the QC by Jake. This in itself was worth it. The crew was consistently the same people and HIGHLY skilled. Some of the best work I'd seen. Ricardo was our project lead and so talented and friendly. All the team was very respectful and thoughtful. They cleaned up after every day and never blasted music or talked loudly or cursed. (Which was very important to me because my neighbor and I work from home). They were kind to my wife, kids, and neighbors as well. My parents also hired Echo to fix various issues around their yard and pool and had the same experiences we did with very proficient and highly skilled crew members that worked hard. Also, the small issues we had after completion were addressed immediately. Most contractors rarely come back after you've finished paying them, but Jake really values his clients and takes pride in making sure they're taken care of before, during, and most importantly, after the project is done. There are tons of companies out there, but nobody really does it like Echo and I HIGHLY recommend them. It's worth the investment, not just financially, but also the time and memories you will have enjoying the beautiful space and features.

The customer service at L&P Development is excellent. They called to confirm my TV mounting appointment and told me the window of time the installer would be coming would be on the earlier end between 2-5pm. Day of, someone calls me to let me know my installer will be coming closer to the later end of my time slot due to last minute additions to the work order appointment before mine. Gerrit Arends, the installer, also called me around this time to let me know he would be coming later due to changes to the work order of the appointment before mine. He was very professional and let me know he will be calling me again when he is headed to my place. When he was done at his previous appointment, he called me to let me know he was on the way and about 4 miles away. Once here, he quickly went to work. It took him about 25 minutes to complete the job. Gerrit did an awesome job - he consulted with me about the height and position on the wall and left the place clean. Thanks L&P for making my experience an excellent one! Erica your coordination and follow through made it so supportive with my hectic schedule! The team arrived when expected and was friendly and patient considering the manufacturer didn't have all the right parts in the box to assemble my desk. I returned the desk and L&P was on it to check in with me during the week when the new one would arrive to coordinate their assembly. Same team came back a week later and once again they went right to work while I worked on my laptop. Again, they noticed, when almost finished the top part of the desk had been damaged. I recently had Jason from L&P Development come to my house to assemble an exercise bike I bought through Amazon. Amazon recommended the company. First of all, the customer service with L&P is first rate. The office called to confirm the bike had been delivered and schedule the appointment to assemble. They sent me a picture of Jason, the person who would be coming to my home. They said he would call to advise me when he was in route. Jason did call with an ETA. Jason arrived on time and proved to be technically competent at the assembly process. He was conscientious and friendly. After completing the assembly, Jason tested the bike to make sure it was working properly. He answered my questions and offered some pointers. He was very customer oriented. I ordered a treadmill and William from L+P came to put it together. To start I received multiple emails confirming the time they would be arriving (which was exactly the time I requested!) and the day before Erica called to confirm all of the details. She reiterated we would only be charged when the service was competed. She super friendly and professional. William called before he arrived and when he got here he was fantastic. He put the treadmill together in record time, was quiet, asked for nothing, gave us a lesson in how to use it and then also explained what we needed to do to maintain the treadmill going forward. I just go my sofa assembled today thanks again to the awesome Justin at L&P development. I was lucky enough to be able to get Justin again and hope to be able to call on his expertise in the future when I have more furniture to assemble. I really liked that Justin was able to quickly but very competently put together my furniture AND carry on a conversation with me. Since I am new to the area he was helpful in sharing some info on the best local spots. I LOVE my sofa!! After he was done assembling the sofa, he walked me through the various settings on my sofa and I was able to select the one I wanted (after testing them out). I had to call the office to change the date of service and their staff was very friendly and helpful. My service technician Evan called me 20 minutes ahead of time indicating he was about 20 minutes away. He arrived right on time and promptly went to work assembling my desk. He took the time to point out a minor flaw in one of the drawers asking if I would like to send the desk back because of it. This was after he had worked on it for an hour....the flaw was barely noticeable and I said it was fine. But it impressed me that he had the honesty to point it out. He finished the job in about an hour and a half, cleaned everything up, moved the desk to where I wanted it. Marcus did an awesome job installing my 43" tv to the wall. The tv mount that I bought did not have the right size nuts/bolts/washers for my tv and he took his time sorting through a ton of pieces I had to figure out how to make it work properly. He said not to worry if he didn't find the right pieces, I could go and buy them and then he'd come back. But, he used what I had and really secured the TV to the wall and made sure I was happy with the placement before he actually hung it. L&P made the scheduling of the appointment very easy and they were flexible. On the day of the appointment, Marcus called me to let me know when he would arrive -- he arrived exactly when he said he would. He quickly found that a some parts were missing and one part was even broken. Needless to say, he could not finish the assembly but took the time to explain to me how to communicate with the manufacturer to solve the problem. He was very patient and helpful. Thank god Jason was able to fix the mess I created from my failed attempt at building my tv stand. Since the product I ordered was cheaply made, I was worried it was beyond salvaging. But luckily Jason was able to repair it. Jason called thirty minutes prior to arriving, allowing me plenty of time to make sure I was home. I ordered a Schwinn exercise bike through AMAZON which gave me the options to pay someone professonaly to come & assemble my bike. L&P Development of Los Angeles was sent out, throughout the week they kept in constant contact via text messages & email giving me updates on the time a person would come the phone number if I had questions or needed to reschedule. On the day of the appointment, Dexter called 15 minutes ahead of his arrival to confirm he was on his way. Dexter, was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable regarding the assembly of my bed. He even thought to ask if I preferred he take his shoes off before walking on my carpet. Fantastic! L&P Development are a top-notch outfit. Extremely professional from office personnel to installers. I highly recommend and will recommend to all of our friends. It's so refreshing to deal with a company that obviously values its customers and puts them first. Garrit and his associate were courteous, knowledgeable, polite, friendly and professional throughout the entire process, including calling ahead with adjusted time estimations. Gerrit Arends is by far the best assembler, I have ever had! He has assembled an entertainment center for me, installed a new garbage disposer for me, and assembled an office chair for me. He's very professional, gets the work done quickly, and the best part, I never have any problems with the products he assembles. And he's very nice! L&P Development partners with Amazon. When I buy a product on Amazon, I can sign up for someone to assemble it. The work is great and the prices are great! Cheaper than hiring a handyman!! It's wonderful! I had a fantastic experience with L&P Development. The technician called in advance to confirm his arrival time, and was completely professional throughout the entire process. He assembled the exercise bike quickly and efficiently, and the finished product looks and works great. He even wrapped up the box and removed it from our apartment for us. I spoke to representatives from L&P Development three times over the phone in the days preceding the technician's arrival. They were not only helpful and professional, but went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience with them. They deserve your trust and deserve your business. read more

This company was GREAT to deal with. Unlike the company that did the delivery, this company was VERY forthcoming with information and so courteous - it was so refreshing that they acted like they really cared about the installation of my grill. They called the day before to confirm for the next day then the installer called 30 mins before to let me know that he would be here in 30 mins. Garrit-the installer, was very professional, knew what he was doing, and VERY COURTEOUS! He even spent a few moments helping me to look for my dog who got out the open gate. Luckily we found him right away. Hope you get Garrit to do your installation too! read more
