Been to the Ivy Kitchen & Bar a couple times and had a great experiences. The location in RVC has plenty of parking in the public lot or the street. The space itself has a bar area and dining. The restaurant offers a lot of great dishes for brunch and dinner. For brunch I had the Ivy Benedict which had a creamy hollandaise sauce on top of the poached eggs, prosciutto and English muffins. I liked the crispy potatoes that were served with the dish. When we had gone for dinner we decide to eat family style and shared the dishes we ordered. One of the items they do well are their pastas. The buratta rigatoni is was one of our favorites. The buratta went well with the creamy tomato based sauce. We also enjoyed the tortellini alla panna which had a cream based sauce with tomatoes and peas. For my daughter we got the side of macaroni and cheese which was pretty generous in size for a side making it shareable as well. I really like the chicken milanese dish which had a tender pounded and breaded chicken which a crisp salad with balsamic vinegar, Parmesan and buratta. I started off with the Caesar salad. Then I had a pasta dish with a spicy meat tomato sauce. It was a nice portion and very good. For dessert I had the Mississippi mud pie. It was good. I enjoyed the food here. It was a bit pricey but very good. read more

We decided to check out this new restaurant opened in town and my husband and I enjoyed our meal. From the moment we entered till we paid our check everyone was friendly and attentive. Karla was our waitress and she was helpful, we told her we would be splitting our entree and the Ivy burger was cut in half for us. That was a nice touch, we enjoyed our shrimp appetizer, although I realized I'm Not a fan of cooked prosciutto, it was ok for me. The burger was tasty and the salad was also tasty, generous toppings. Overall everything was great and I can see couples, friends and families having a nice time. My first time here, had a great experience. Street parking available as well as nearby lots that are within walking distance. At first when looking for the location you will probably miss it. Is a white building with black accents. They are currently working on getting a new sign but that doesn't take away from the place. Once you enter the immediate setting takes you away with the dim lighting, catchy house music and beautiful floral decor. The host noticed my wife and I and we were immediately seated. The server didn't take long and got us set up with drinks right away. Didn't feel rushed and gave us enough time to figure out what we wanted to eat. While vibing to the good tunes I was able to search and look up some of the Italian dishes on the menu. There was a good selection to choose from. I ended up getting this house special drink that was peach flavor and delicious and my food selection was rigatoni with a side of salmon. My wife had the skirt steak with mash. Once the food hit the table the presentation of it already had me and I knew it was going to be delightful. I had a such a hard time saving some of the food to take home it was so good. My wife enjoyed hers as well but needed some A1 sauce because that sets the tone Everytime. Other than that the bathrooms were nice, clean and as a fan of black decor they did their thing. I came at a time that was not crowded, but this definitely made the experience more enjoyable with my girlfriends. Bottomless peach Bellinis and the Lavender Lemon Drop martini were stellar. Two of us had the skirt steak brunch with the crispy potatoes and my other friend had the Ivy Benedict with the salad. Ev-ver-ree-thing was sooooo delicious. OMG!!! I cleaned my plate, then jokingly complained that I did not enjoy my food. Lol. Compliments to the chef. Then for dessert, we enjoyed the Tiramisu. Enjoyed an amazing Brunch this morning at Ivy. Greg took great care of us and so did Valentina! Honestly, aside from the delicious dishes they both made our day. I ordered the Cacio e pepe w prociuto, so good! The avocado toast with burrata was delish and so was the Caesar salad. The burger received a rave review as did the steak and eggs. Greg brought us tasty Bellini drinks and then it was time for dessert! Exceptionally creamy cheesecake, fabulous tiramisu and a special chocolate cake. My friends and I tried The Ivy a few nights ago tonight and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely fantastic--we shared the short rib risotto, Caesar salad and the skirt steak. What also made the experience stand out was the service. Greg, who was both our bartender and waiter, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive, and his warm personality really added to the overall experience. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. 0 stars!! Yelp confirmed our reservations for Thanksgiving at 5pm on Wednesday. When we arrived at the restaurant on Thursday it was closed! Not just for the day but for good. Let me start by saying that the bones of this establishment have the potential to be top rated. Unfortunately they have fundamental flaws that need to be corrected. First, the drinks and service are awfully slow, which takes away from the restaurant's bottom line. Second, two dishes we order, the ivy burger and ivy Caesar (which we came for as it's the namesake) were never served. Our server didn't even realize it!!!! Lastly, the skirt steak, which was $49, wasn't sliced properly so it was chewy rather than melting in the mouth. Needless to say the server never asked us how we like our skirt. The bread and rigatoni were excellent as well as the sides. Place should have compensated us for the blunders. read more

Why is this place not packed every day? Bartenders know their stuff, and as a guy who has bartended and been to 15+ major cities in the US, I have never had an espresso martini as good as ivy's. Jose and Aly are the best, highly recommend the chicken Milanese. Decor and vibe are also really cool with the Dj's that come in to preform. read more
