He went above and beyond to figure out what was going on with my laptop and even ordered another separate power brick (on his own dime) just to see if it was that. He found the problem, called the manufacturer for the replacement part and gave a fair price for the part + labor. I ultimately did not go through with the repair as I decided to buy a PC. It takes no more than 15-30minutes to change the screen on this model. While businesses are free to charge what they want, but vulture style pricing is bad. RIP OFF is what I would call it.
