This is the ONLY place I trust to do my eyebrows! I used to go to super brows, but they messed them up. For the past 4 years this is my spot. Everyone that works here is polite and wonderful. No one has ever messed up my eyebrows or made them too thin :)

Multiple scrapes on my eyelid skin, still reddish and hurts after an hour

I've been to this place 3x, major hit n miss. Come here at your own risk. 1 - When it comes to eyebrow threading, They don't know how to map it. Also, they are very harsh with threading they will burn your skin. My eyelid had scratches and minor bleeding. 2 - The place smells like a very strong lady perfume - so strong you can taste it that i vomited what I ate for lunch when i got home. It also triggered my nasal allergies 3 - They force you to tip. I tip, but when you force me, it makes me not want to. TIP means TO INSURE PERFORMANCE. If the service is bad, why would I reward you at all on top of the services I'm already paying for? Insane practice of ridiculous tipping culture aka entitlement (and I've been a server before) 4 - If you are not paying cash, you have to pay $2 card fee. Hawaii establishments won't even charge that much for using cards. Highway robbery at its finest. Overall: terrible threading skills, terrible customer service, terrible business practices

I had such an amazing experience here with Fatima. The salon is super clean, welcoming, and has a relaxing vibe. My brows have never looked this good--she really listened to what I wanted, shaped them perfectly, and kept the natural look while still cleaning them up beautifully. The threading was quick, gentle, and way less painful than I expected. On top of that, the customer service was top-notch. She took her time to make sure everything was even and gave me tips on how to keep my brows looking great between visits. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of work and care you get. I walked out feeling so much more confident--this will definitely be my go-to spot for brows from now on! Highly recommend! read more

Took me a while to make this review but this used to be my go to place, I was happy I finally found a place that could do my eyebrows the way I like out here. Up until I had a lady do my eyebrows and one came out way more higher than the other. I went to three different places to try to fix this and waited months for my eyebrow to even become halfway decent. I would not come here again. It was clear she did not know what she was doing and I knew something was wrong when she had to get someone else to walk her through doing my eyebrows when she was supposed to be done and the way the other woman gasped...I already knew I was going to be beyond angry. Eyebrows are the most important thing to me, so this was a horrible experience. read more

I've gone there before and I'm very satisfied with the way they did men's eyebrows. I would definitely recommend it. I've gone to places in Beverly Hills where I originally lived and the threading he did a great job. He also did eyebrow tinting. It's a lot easier to go there than to drive up all the way to Beverly Hills and I think he does just as well job even the girl when I saw her in Beverly Hills at Anastasia's. She told me he did a great job. read more

I called before heading here to check prices, I specifically asked how much eyebrow threading was & was told $15. After I arrived about 5 minutes later and I got my eye brows threaded, they charged me $18. I asked why if I had just called and another price was giving, and they said this was always their price. Not cool WILL NEVER GO AGAIN! read more

I needed a clean up and Thalkaa helped me out. It was an okay job. My right eyebrow came out great, my left one looks ok. She let me know it needs to grow out more to look like my right one, this is the first time I hear anyone tell me this but I like to give people the benefit of doubt. Beware price is $18 for threading not $12 like shown online. I was surprised because that is a big jump, she said if I did an online review I would get a $3 dollar discount, so this is my review. read more

I've been coming here for about a year to get my eyebrows done and they've never disappointed!! I started coming after doing waxing elsewhere for many years that caused a few bald spots (especially in the tail area). After my first couple of visits I noticed my browns were looking much better and thicker! The employees are super nice and welcoming :) I'd highly recommend!! read more

I am actually so disappointed writing this review as I've been here multiple times with IZ and Fatima which are literally AMAZING brow artists. I walked in today for another eyebrow clean up and for reference my eyebrows are naturally very thick and grow very long. The lady that did my eyebrows I believe her name is Maria I'm not quite sure but she literally CHOPPED off some of my eyebrow hairs and left gaps on BOTH of them. The lady did not even clean them up correctly. There was no reason for her to CUT THEM SO SHORT. Only a TRIM would've been needed. I did speak to IZ and even showed him pictures I took of TODAY before going in how my brows looked and the lady was saying that I walked into their facility with gaps all over my brows and that she was trying to "match" them. Along with that she stated I was being mean about it and "what could she possibly do to fix?" With an attitude. Excuse me but this should be a studio filled with professional brow artists and shouldn't be about THEIR feelings but the customers. I will be uploading BEFORE and AFTER pics for references. Also, IZ did try giving me a free visit for next time but with NO REFUND. If anything, it should've been a FREE visit AND my refund. If you come here just make sure you go to IZ or FATIMA literally no one else .. read more

I got threading and eyebrow tinting done here today because where I normally go is closed Saturday evenings but here was open. The cost was very surprising at an expensive total of $58. $18 for the threading and $40 for tinting!!! Doesn't make sense at all because normally I pay $40 total at my other place I go to where I feel they do a better and faster job. I don't feel the service is worth the cost of 58 dollars so just be aware. read more

Great service, and location! They really take their time doing your eyebrows here. I never leave disappointed! I've been to plenty of eyebrow threading places and this one is my favorite! Iz did my eyebrows last week and I was so happy with how they turned out. Especially after not having them done since pre COVID, boy did my brows needed some work...They also offer a stamp card, each time you come you get a stamp, your 8th service is free. read more

HEADS UP! The prices on their yelp pictures are not updated. My first time here and I thought it was $12 since I saw the menu pictures on Yelp. It is actually $20 for eyebrow threading and an EXTRA $2 if you pay with card! I think the ladies are sweet but just come prepared with cash. read more

Unfortunately, it's about the salon owner, whose behavior is consistently rude, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing for someone running a business. From my very first appointment, she set the tone. I walked in with a Starbucks for myself and my stylist... completely unaware the salon had a café (which was closed, by the way). Instead of a normal greeting or a simple "Just so you know, we have coffee here," she loudly blurted out, "Who brings Starbucks here?" as if I had just broken a house rule. Not exactly the welcoming vibe you expect when you're coming in to spend money. Her attitude has been the same every visit since: dirty looks, zero acknowledgment unless you're her direct client, and an overall negative energy that shifts the whole room the second she walks in. And it's not just me. My best friend and my mom have both gone to the same stylist and experienced the exact same treatment from the owner. The same snarky comments, the same judgmental looks, the same cold, uninviting demeanor. So it's clearly a pattern, not a one-off. One moment that really stuck with me: it was just me, my stylist, and the owner in the salon. My stylist stepped into another room, so I raised my voice slightly to make sure she could hear me. The salon was empty. Yet I overheard the owner mutter, "Why is your client so loud? She's in a salon." Instead of speaking to anyone directly or respectfully, she chose to insult a paying client behind their back. Completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Even if YOU the paying client says hi to her she looks you up and down and gives a cold hi back. At this point, the only reason I've ever tolerated stepping foot into this salon is because of my hairstylist. Who deserves better, and so do her clients. If you value professionalism, respect, and a welcoming environment, I'd strongly recommend booking with these amazing stylists anywhere else if they offer services at another location. The talent here is great. The owner is the problem.

Iz is not the best when it comes to eyebrow tattoos. I took my mom to Iz for her eyebrows to be tattooed. She had regular (not 3D) tattoos in the past and the last time she had a regular tattoos was about 7 years ago. Iz said 3D tattoo will work even though she had regular tattoo in the past, charged us $350 the first time for 3D tattoo. 10 days later her eyebrows faded and she looked like she had two eyebrows. I contacted Iz and he said to come back (only 10 days later) to do a touch-up that needed to be done 6 weeks later. He was optimistic that the second time it will be darker and the double eyebrow issue will be fixed with the touch-up. He charged us another $100 for the touch-up and said she probably not need another touch-up because he has gone deeper into the skin and this will not fade. It only took another 10 days for her eyebrows to fade again and look like she has 2 eyebrows (see picture). When I contacted Iz again he said that this is a problem with her skin condition and not what he has done. We have paid $450 for eyebrows that look worst than before. read more

To cut this review to the point let me say Iz is the most amazing threader in Chula Vista now! I've been to countless number of locations and no one does the threading job Iz does. He is patient and his work is exquisite ! He listens to what the customer wants and he explains his options of what would look best. And the outcome is fantastic every time ! I would highly recommend Iz eyebrow threading to everyone. I have got all the ladies I know on board. Way better than waxing (which as a make-up artist) is very bad for the skin. Iv been going here for about 6 months now and I can say it has the most friendly staff and has some of the best work I have ever seen. I have naturally thick eyebrows and always struggled to find a place that would give them a nice shape and form, most places will leave them super thin, this is the only place I trust my eyebrows no matter who does them, all their staff knows how to help and give form. Went to IZ one night after getting of the trolley on Palomar St. I had passed by it everyday and unfortunately wasn't interested because I saw a guy doing it. Since I've had so many bad experiences with people butchering my eyebrows, especially women, I wasn't going to expect a man to do it any better. But to my surprise, I was totally wrong to judge. IZ is the god of eyebrow threading!!!! I have never gotten my eyebrows threaded in such a delicate and pain-less manner!!! Not only did he shape my eyebrows perfectly, but he also didn't over thread and actually gave me a plan as to how I was to get back my eyebrows that have not been able to grow fully from my past experiences. When I had waxing on my eyebrows, the shape was never right and my eyebrows always looked weird as the wax would be applied in circular blobs,my eyebrows were oddly shaped.Threading It is quick, not painful at all and there is no redness or after effects. Best of all the shape is exactly how I like as the thread can be directed to achieve the shape I like. I had threading done by IZ around 3 weeks ago, the result was outstanding! IZ is the best not only in threading your eyebrows but very talented in microblading. I had wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed for awhile now but I was afraid they would not turn out good. This has been my go-to eyebrow threading place since it was first established here in Chula Vista. Faten is normally the one that does my eyebrows and she is absolutely amazing. Though I have gotten threaded by the other women and even IZ himself and would overall recommend any one of them. They are masters in what they do.
