They did a horrible job, one of the ladies that did my nails literally told me to put back in my hand where it drys your nails very fast but it was burning my nails and I told her that it's burns and it's hurting me a lot and she told me "I know but you have put it there for a while" and when I did I noticed that she got a bit frustrated. She basically did what she wanted and when I told her that the nails looks too thick she told me that's how it should be so I just let it slide. The only good service that I got was the lady that did my toes that's it. I wouldn't recommend coming in here because I only went because it was last minute and the lady told me that the nails will last longer and they didn't and they fell off and this the result after they fell off, they basically burned my real nails and I can't get the pink paint removed. I have been getting my pedicures with Alice for two years at this location. She is amazing. If you need a pedicure, I highly recommend her. I am giving a 1 star because the owner is rude, mean to her workers, condescending to the customers, and does not care about the customer request. I was convinced by the owner, her name is Te, to start doing powder nails. The first few times were fine because I was doing black nails, but I did not like that she would rush the service and was constantly answering calls and simultaneously doing other customer nails. Sometimes, she would mess up because of this, and she would get mad if I pointed out the uneven nails, the powder that would be stuck to my skin, and the thickness. I should have stopped using her services at this point. When the holidays came, I wanted white with sparkles. The first two times, she accommodated my request, but after that, she started to do whatever she wanted. The first time, she gave me pink nails despite my request for the white sparkly nails. I cried because I dislike the color pink but I paid for the service anyway. The second time I showed her a picture of the original white nails with sparkles (which she did) but again she decided to do them pink. I was so sad I told her I did not feel it was fair to pay for the nails this time. She became upset and told me I was no longer allowed in her nail shop. This is unfortunate as I was never interested in powder nails. I was only a customer here for the pedicures Alice provides. It is very disheartening that I will no longer get to do my pedicures with Alice. read more

While i was getting my toes done the guy was drilling my toes fast like he was in a hurry and kept drilling my skin in the process which hurt ! The other person I was with was in the middle of getting her nails done then that's when another customer walked in and the lady stopped what she was doing and began to do the other ladies nails. Luxurious nails here in IB never fails. Cici, Lori, and Jack are the best!!! This review is overdue for me .. My friend has been religiously coming here for years but has since moved to travel nurse .. but whenever she comes back into town, this is always on her to-do list! They not only were able to fit us in,but they did it by opening up 45 minutes early for the 3 of us. Thank you again! Their prices are the best for the most amazing treatments ever! The one guy who works there as the cashier and sometimes takes clients, is the worst. HE SNEEZED ON MY FOOT AND DID NOT SAY SORRY OR CLEAN MY FOOT WITH ALCOHOL OR ANYTHING ! Worst place to do your acrylic nails in imperial beach. We went in as walks in about an hour after they opened for two pedicures and one full set. Pedicures went great the sweet women who did my feet at least was amazing and patient. Then another women started prepping my hands for acrylic during my pedicure which was fine until she started doing everything way too fast. I completely understand them having appointments soon after us and wanting to get us in and out as soon as possible but if you can't work at a sufficient speed to provide quality nails then you need to slow down. She started gluing nail tips and because I'm in the middle of trying to enjoy my pedicure she puts 2 on and it's lopsided and I didn't notice until she started laying the acrylic down. Not to mention I'm trying to enjoy the pedi and she yanking at my hands and has me at an awkward position. Then she took me to her chair and started rushing me as if she could work efficiently at that speed and I told her to fix the lopsided nails she kept filing them from the sides making them look worst. She had said she was gonna use dip powder for the white tips, brought it out and never used it. I'm assuming because as I was sitting at her chair more customers came in so she started working way too fast painting these horrible white tips with no care at all. There was a woman who got upset at them while I was sitting there about how long they were making her wait. I tried to show her what she was doing but she didn't care that I didn't like it and that her work was sloppy. The vibe in there was giving nursing home. It doesn't matter who does my pedicure they do a great job. They have good massage chairs and they always make sure the water feels good. So Sweet and friendly, she even picked out a color for me that perfectly matched my dip manicure. Definitely found my new nails girls! My nail tech wouldn't give her name after I asked her, knowing I was unhappy with the out come. I wanted natural pink acrylic with flowers simple. She decided to do dark pink dip powder. She made them so thick it looks like a child did them and was mad when I asked another girl to fix them and started yelling about me not likening them. I will not be getting my nails done here again or by the lady with tattooed on eye brows. I highly recommend going to a different shop if I could give zero stars I would smiling.
