Laura came in and described what she was going to do. She asked if I had any areas on my body that were bothering me. I let her know my low back is an ongoing issue. I really appreciated that she asked me that and how much pressure I would like for the massage. I have to say, this was one of the best massages I have ever had. She did a combo of deep tissue and Swedish massage all over my body and also focused more on my low back. The hot stones felt really good and the heat level was just right. Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. I contacted the spa multiple times--by phone, email, text, and by sending photos of the damage--but received no meaningful response or follow‑up. Despite my repeated attempts, I was never contacted by the owner. Additionally, the business has changed its name three times since my visits in 2025, which I found concerning. I am still paying for unused facial services but no longer feel comfortable returning. All I have requested is a direct call from the owner to address this situation, but to date, that has not happened.

She went above and beyond. Moon checked me in at the front desk and I was able to choose an essential oil scent from the large selection up front. She started off with taking me into the service room, instructing me to change into a robe and situating myself on the bed. She started off by cleansing my face, applying a warm towel, massaging my face and placed a face mask on. It was really a mini facial. She then proceeded to ask the pressure of how I wanted my head massage. She really did an amazing job massaging and had many different tools to help get a clean scrub of my scalp. The facial products were gentle and hair products had an invigorating, tingling sensation. She washed my hair two times, very thoroughly. She massaged my arms, neck, shoulders and legs while my hair was conditioning. She finished off washing my hair and blow drying. It is finally time for me to write a review on this place…read more A bit of background is that I've been dealing with an asthma flareup that has made it difficult for me to walk even a block without getting out of breathe. Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work. You can call to book or schedule online. Either way works and it is super easy to do. The chairs are comfortable and you can lounge in them. There are also some yoga mats if you want to use those. You do need to bring clean socks (or you can buy a pair for $2!) to bring to each session. I have also used the individual booth sauna which has a setting to allow you to get salt inhalation too. You can use it as a sauna or, I can't handle heat so, you can have a low heat place to yourself. There is also a community room where you book a spot and you may share the room with others so be respectful! There are other services here too but since I've never used them, I won't give any opinion. Parking is plentiful here too. I definitely recommend this to people with health issues and those that just want to relax. There is a reason why back in the day doctors recommended going to the beach :P They might not have known the science behind the benefits but they knew! I really do recommend this and I do have about it to friends. :)
