Had a facial with Tarilyn and she is amazing! My skin looks great! Loved how he always asked how I was doing through the whole process. Will definitely will be back!

Love my turkey neck and facial

I have the turkey neck rescue facial, which comes with two facial one for the face and one for the neck as advertised. Office atmosphere is so serene, the staff extremely friendly. The facial/neck treatment was amazing. Lasted about one hour. My skin was glowing after. Two days later, I absolutely noticed the improvement in my neck and face firmness and glowing. I'm very happy with the results. Will be coming back

Stephanie is amazing. I been coming for 2 months and the difference in my skin has been monumental. I have gotten so many compliments. She is the best

Make sure to purchase your customized facial package to include inferred sauna pod sessions with each visit.

I just had the most AMAZING facial from the one and only Stephanie Gonzalez -- officially the Esthetician Supreme of the entire Yay Area! My skin and I have been through it: stress, chaotic "routines" (if you can even call them that), and enough gym sweat to qualify as a full-time job. But Stephanie dove right in with a thorough skin analysis. I told her all my concerns, and she addressed every single one with total confidence and expertise. With the gentlest hands and the calmest voice, she walked me through each step of the process -- what she was doing, what she was using, and exactly how each ingredient would help my skin glow again. And let me tell you... within ONE WEEK my skin has transformed. Like, noticeably. I'm genuinely so happy with the results that I ended up buying a custom facial package designed just for my skin. If your face needs saving, book with Stephanie. You can thank me later.

Terilyn was great. I have had multiple facials at Glow Clinic, and all the technicians are always on time and highly experienced with their treatments.

I was way overdue for a relaxing treatment, and Burke William didn't fail to deliver! 10:15 AM on a Friday in late May, parking was easy, and most of the stores on The Row were just waking up. Ascending the staircase to the front doors of BW, almost feels magical. I was quickly greeted, given a key to my locker, and then the doors of Oz opened! The lighting is just right, and the facilities are spotless. The robe awaiting me in my locker, unfortunately, was a size petite... I'm 6'1" 250 pounds though! I encountered another patron (i think) who reached through an 'employees only' door to find a 4XL sized robe which fit perfectly. Took a 15 minute jacuzzi. After helping myself to some cucumber, water and lemonade, I relaxed/napped in the waiting room for about 10 minutes... Waiting for my name to be whispered. The shiatsu/Swedish massage from Deirdre (sp?) was exquisite! Right pressure. Right amount of engaging conversation. She answered my questions and offered suggestions with just the right amount of empathy. After the 50 minute massage, I returned to the locker room for a session in the sauna, steam room, and took a shower. I wish the changing area in the locker room was a bit roomier, but that is my only gripe.

Wasn't really give any other options but to wait till 1:30PM so I did not take that option since I was already in the area at 9AM. Horrible! They have water bottles and hot tea for you while you wait or for after your session. I checked in at the front and was immediately taken back to a massage room. The room is very nice and clean with relaxing music playing in the background as well as nature sounds of water. The lights are dim to your level of comfort. You can remove as much or as little clothing as you like. I laid down on the comfortable table and waited for my masseuse. You can choose a male or female masseuse when you make your appointment. Laura came in and described what she was going to do. She asked if I had any areas on my body that were bothering me. I let her know my low back is an ongoing issue. I really appreciated that she asked me that and how much pressure I would like for the massage. I have to say, this was one of the best massages I have ever had. She did a combo of deep tissue and Swedish massage all over my body and also focused more on my low back. The hot stones felt really good and the heat level was just right. It was so relaxing and therapeutic. I really liked my experience with Laura. She helped my back feel better which is a miracle. I will definitely be coming back here again for more services. Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. The lobby and overall space is well curated. The lobby has a coffee and tea bar that also has water post massage. 100/10 be sure to call and make an appt for you're girl! Can't wait to be back!

I've never done the full rotation of hot tub to dry sauna to steam sauna to cold plunge - it was genuinely painful. If you've never experienced this, be prepared to get your heart racing. I was expecting a relaxing experience, but the saunas will leave you out of breath, and the cold plunge will shock your system. It's supposed to be really good for detoxing your system, and I definitely felt like I sweat out a bunch of toxins. We really enjoyed the massage chairs after this whole rotation and showering. The massage chairs are super comfortable and have a variety of massage options. It was so soothing that I fell asleep during my massage. There are a variety of popular scrub massage options that I did not try this time around. The downstairs co-ed dry saunas were a bit underwhelming. The saunas were comfortably warm and had blankets to rest on. These saunas didn't seem to be for the purposes of detoxing since they were at a moderate temperature. I was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep in multiple rooms lol. Bay Spa was the perfect introduction to Korean spas, and I will definitely be returning!

This was my first time doing a Korean spa. I had previously only eaten at the cafe for lunch and…read moreloved their kalbi rice bowl so I came back for the spa experience with my friends. Once we paid and given key to lockers and 3 towels (1 large & 2 small), we locked up our shoes (only) in the lockers to the right of the front desk. Then headed inside to grab a pair of slippers from the shelves to the left (don't grab the ones in the basket on floor which are for used slippers). Then head upstairs to the locker rooms to change and store your things to the same numbered locker. Also, grab a pair of shorts from the shelves in there. The room with massage chairs is nice if you can find a good chair. The first massage chair I tried was perfect for my needs because I have neck and shoulder issues recently but the massage chair I have at home doesn't even reach my neck and only somewhat knead my shoulders and massages whole body. This chair (where the display controller is mounted on right and has a "neck & shoulder" function) was able to focus only on the neck and even up the back of head and down to the shoulder and shoulder blades areas only (pull out the padding behind the head area if you don't feel much happening). Some of the chairs did seem worn down and torn up but many were in good shape as well. Downstairs is the 3 Jade, Clay, and Salt rooms including an Ice room. No slippers inside rooms so place slippers on the shoe racks outside. Be extra careful going inside the clay room. There are handrails to help you get in and out because the clay balls are actually a few inches deep and very slippery and it's kind of like you're stepping into quicksand. My friends did the body scrub while I did the massage. I don't know if all masseuses massage the same way there but I did not know that the massage included being stepped on. I am a very petite gal and Gina was a bit bigger than me. It wasn't just stepping with one foot but with both! I don't know how much of her entire weight was on me because there were two ropes hanging for her to hold onto but I felt like I was being tortured during the 10-15 minute that she was on me. I can understand if the client is much bigger and so you need your full weight to get enough pressure, but I am only just around 100 lbs, petite, and asked for medium pressure and was still stepped on. After that massage, certain spots around my back and pelvis (boney spots) seemed as if they were bruised cause they hurt with even just touch. She handed me an envelope afterwards for tips. I still tipped her but I don't think I would get a massage there again due to that experience. Maybe if you are a bigger build or get a different masseuse you might enjoy it. Overall, her massage was not all that useful, or even if it was, the stepping on undid it by giving me a traumatic experience. But there were a few times I thought what she was doing didn't seem like it did anything. If I hadn't gotten the massage, I would have given 5 stars because the facility and front desk staff I encountered were great (I asked front desk about adding massage and she was very friendly and helpful and immediately was able to book the massage for the earliest opening a few hours later), but I had to take a star off just for my experience with that masseuse. Would go back to the spa to unwind and relax, but I will most likely not get massage there again.

I also appreciate that they push to turn off or silence phones. Unplugging is the way to go when visiting these types of facilities. Also, the massages were fantastic - I got the deep tissue massage and I felt like a new woman after. My boyfriend also felt the same way. I teased him after about him making noises when getting a massage lol. He very much enjoyed it as this was a birthday present for him! We will definitely be doing this as a ritual every 3 to 4 months! Note: the only issue I had was parking - extremely hard to find parking. We recommend that you come at least 1 hour before your appointment, not only because of the parking issue, it also gives you ample time to enjoy the extra amenities that I listed above which comes with every service you book for.

Review for Immersion Spa ‍…read more I absolutely loved this place, and to this day, I still miss it. When I lived in the Bay Area, I was a faithful and loyal customer at Immersion. It became one of my favorite self-care rituals. I would bring family and friends, and I went regularly--about once every quarter. It was something I always looked forward to. There is currently no Korean spa in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I live now, and the closest option is in Atlanta. So yes... boo-hoo. Nothing quite compares to this experience. What made Immersion special was the sense of freedom and relaxation the moment you walked through the door. The spa is thoughtfully organized, very clean, and beautifully maintained. You store your belongings in secure lockers, receive a waterproof wristband, and then the entire experience begins. I always arrived at least 90 minutes before my massage so I could fully enjoy the amenities. That extra time was part of the magic. My favorite features included: * The hot tub and invigorating cold plunge * The wet sauna and dry sauna * The gentle, calming warmth of the Himalayan salt room * Complimentary roasted tea and water * High-quality bath and shower products in the women's area * A peaceful, well-run environment with clear structure and cleanliness standards Everything felt intentional and relaxing. My go-to service was always the Fusion massage, which blends shiatsu and deep tissue techniques using organic coconut oil. The therapists were incredibly skilled and intuitive--they knew exactly how to work out tension and restore balance. Some of the best massages I've ever had were here. Over the years, prices have increased slightly--as they have everywhere. I remember paying around $100 before COVID, and later seeing it closer to $130. Even so, the value of the experience made it worth every dollar. I was there hook, line, and sinker. A few practical notes for future guests: * Parking is limited and shared with neighboring businesses (including Kumon), so timing matters * The spa has separate men's and women's areas * No outside shoes are allowed inside the spa * Clothing is optional in designated areas, which is standard for Korean spa culture * Plan to arrive early to fully enjoy the amenities before your service One service I personally never tried was the traditional Korean body scrub. I watched others experience it, and while many people love it, it looked a little too intense for my taste. That said, the massages and spa amenities are absolutely exceptional. If you're considering a membership, it's worth exploring. This is the kind of place that becomes part of your routine once you experience it. I still haven't found anything in the Southeast that truly matches the level of service, atmosphere, and overall experience of Immersion. I keep looking--but this one set the bar very high. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

As soon as we came in, the atmosphere was peaceful and warm, and Sam T and Tracy further enhanced our experience with their great vibe. My mom is still raving about Sam T. She keeps telling me how comfortable she was and how much her body was improved after the session. She was so crazy about it that she went ahead and booked her boyfriend a session with Sam T right after we left, which is basically the proof. Speaking of my session, I was with Tracy, and she blew me away. She gave me the attention I needed and mainly worked on the parts of my body where I usually have the most stress. The thing I liked the most was her depth of knowledge. She didn't just target those areas but also told me what she was observing and indicated to me what might need more work in the future. The whole thing was very much a one-to-one treatment, and it seemed like she really wanted to help me improve not just for the time being but long-term as well. They both, in a way, almost made us forget about time and totally immerse ourselves in the moment. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.

I left feeling disappointed overall. The massage therapist definitely kneaded my muscles, but the…read moresession didn't help me relax and felt more therapeutic than restorative. What was more frustrating was that my treatment ended up being only about 60 minutes instead of the 90 minutes I expected. I was told this was due to an additional service included in my package, but that wasn't clearly explained beforehand. There were also several issues with the package benefits. Lunch was supposed to be included but was never provided, and I had to remind staff about the $50 credit that was also part of the package. Having to repeatedly ask for amenities that were already paid for took away from the experience. The highlight of the visit was the facial. The esthetician was wonderful, and it was honestly the most relaxing part of the day--I nearly fell asleep during the treatment. Unfortunately, between the shortened massage time, missing package inclusions, and having to advocate for benefits that should have been automatically honored, I didn't feel I received the value I paid for. I hope management improves communication and package fulfillment for future guests.
