I am so glad to have stumbled across Moon Beauty Spa when I was looking for a relaxing service with affordable pricing in the Bay Area!! I called to make appt and whoever picked up was very friendly and I was able to get my preferred time right away. The location is super easy to find with a spacious parking lot. Moon is AMAZING with her service. I got the 90 minutes Herbal Hair Wash for the price of $155, but I only paid $100 because they were having a promotion going on!! My experience here was so pleasant and Moon would make sure that the pressure she applied when massage and washing my hair was exactly how I like it. Her techniques are amazing and even though it wasn't a part of the service package I chose, Moon went above and beyond and gave me a complimentary leg/foot massage and it felt incredible. At the end of the service, I was given a bottle of water to hydrate while Moon brushed and dried my hair. They even have sunscreen for me to apply before I leave. What an amazing experience! I was looking for a simple head spa because I was in need of a deep scalp exfoliation and clean. I stumbled upon Moon Beauty Spa on Yelp and quickly texted them to find their availability. Moon texted back very quickly and got me in within 30 minutes! This is not your ordinary head spa. She went above and beyond. Moon checked me in at the front desk and I was able to choose an essential oil scent from the large selection up front. She started off with taking me into the service room, instructing me to change into a robe and situating myself on the bed. She started off by cleansing my face, applying a warm towel, massaging my face and placed a face mask on. It was really a mini facial. She then proceeded to ask the pressure of how I wanted my head massage. She really did an amazing job massaging and had many different tools to help get a clean scrub of my scalp. The facial products were gentle and hair products had an invigorating, tingling sensation. She washed my hair two times, very thoroughly. She massaged my arms, neck, shoulders and legs while my hair was conditioning. She finished off washing my hair and blow drying. She is very thoroughly and gentle, it is an extremely luxurious experience. This is NOT your ordinary head spa. You will get a full experience of a facial, massage and head spa. She works very hard to make sure you are getting the best service. She went above and beyond my expectations and I hope you guys give her a chance like I did! I definitely will try to make this a regular thing. The facility is very clean, sanitized and welcoming. You can tell there was a great deal of thought when creating her treatment plan. It is extensive and you are truly getting a one of a kind service, great quality and bang for your buck. Amazing experience! This is the experience I've been looking for locally! I visited a scalp spa while traveling in Malaysia and that set the bar really high. I'd visited another local spa and it was very unpleasant all around. And now I've found Moon Beauty!! It was so nice to come in and be pampered. The entire experience was so pleasant. I opted for the 90 min Vietnam herbal washing. I'd assumed since hair drying was included that the fun part of it would end before 90 minutes to leave time for it. I was pleasantly surprised when she sat me up after having my facial, hair washed, and being massaged that it had already been 90 minutes. I liked that you got to pick your own relaxing scent before going back, and they have a wide selection is scent oils to choose from. I will definitely be back and will definitely be recommending to friends and family. read more

This review is based solely on their unresponsiveness. I tried to book an appointment with them since Sunday--called a few times, left them a voicemail and even texted them to see if they had any availability. I didn't get a response whatsoever. I called again today, Tuesday, to give it another try and the person who picked up the phone said there's no availability today because "the girl working" isn't working today and to call back again another day. First of all, please fix your hours of operation if you aren't offering service everyday as claimed. Lastly, when you have a business and you don't answer your phone or respond, that drives away a lot of potential clients like myself. Since we discovered Moon Beauty Spa, it has been casual rewards for me and my wife to treat ourselves nicely from whatever life throw at us in these busy and rushing times. We always go for the Vietnamese herbal washing treatment here, it does really make us feel like we escape the real world. I would usually be too relax and snore right away while my wife can feel her stress and tension got washed away. I dont need makeup removal step so Moon gives me some extra massage on my scalp (i have dry scalp, and the message is really on point to help the itchy). My wife is totally in love with Moon massage on her head, shoulder, neck, and back of the head. She said Moon can feel and pay attention to the stiffness/tightness on her muscles in these area and use massage to ease them smoothly. This really helps her when she has to sit and look under microscope for long time every day. read more
