When you bring your car in to be repaired you are overwhelmed dealing with insurance , getting an appraisal and arranging a rental car. Joe abd Eric take care of EVERYTHING! You call them , explain what happened and they take care of arranging a rental car so it's at the shop when you drop your car off. The whole time they are repairing your vehicle you never have to deal with insurance. They are the go between between you and your insurance company. 2) you receive weekly calls updating you on the status of your vehicle. If there is an insurance matter like the insurance company is holding up the process you never know because Eric and Joe handle every matter. 3)There work is impeccable !!!! Your car is returned to you better than when it was brought in. They clean the car inside and out leaving no trace of body shop . When they work on your vehicle they inspect every inch . I had such a great experience with J&A Auto Works after bringing my car in from an accident. From the beginning, they made the whole process so much less stressful. The receptionist was wonderful and handled so many of the frustrating parts that come with an accident, including the insurance back and forth and rental car issues. That alone made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was that they fought with the insurance company to make sure my car was repaired correctly. They could have easily taken the shortcut, done the bare minimum, and I probably would not have known until I had a bigger issue later on. Instead, they made sure everything was done the right way. My car ended up needing a new door because simply replacing the side mirror would not have lined up properly and could have caused problems like rust down the road. They made sure the repair was done the way it should be, and when I got my car back, it looked brand new again. They also buffed out the whole car and cleaned the inside so well. With two kids, that is basically a miracle. My car has never looked that clean. I really appreciate their knowledge, honesty, and attention to detail. Before my recent repair of last week, there were 2 other times with people scratching and denting my prior vehicles with their carelessness and my experience with J and A Auto was then above and beyond. As a woman who relies on her vehicle for work and family, Eric and Joe took the time to explain the process of dealing with the insurance company and how my vehicle would be repaired. They fought with my insurance company since the original appraisal from my insurance was lower than the one they got when my car was in their shop. It appeared my vehicle had more damage then once though of my first appraisal. J & A Auto Body is an excellent repair shop. Its two owners, Eric and Joe, are the best mechanics that I have known. They and their staffs are polite. As of 2019 I have known them for more than 15 years. When I have a need to get the car repairs, they are the mechanics that I go to. Joe would do his best to repair your car the best possible. Eric would do his best to advocate for your interest if the car insurance company would have to approve the repairs. They both would work for the customer's benefit when his or her car is in their shop to be repaired. I myself happened to know they would ethically repair their customer's car when I walked by their shop in Malden 15 years ago. I was absolutely surprised when I found one of their customers' cars was properly applied the anti-rust paint behind the front bumper. The front bumper would easily cover up whatever painting to be ignored inside. However, they did their job properly to provide a qualified service. That said enough. Ever since J & A Auto Body has been the only shop that I trust for my car repairs. The shop moved from Malden to Wakefield, but I have still followed for my car repairs. Taking my car to Eric after my first car accident was the best decision I could have made - I'm someone who is beyond picky about where my car goes when it has to have an oil change, let alone body work. I could not be more satisfied with the work he and Joe have done. After having the appraiser come out a lot later to look at the car than I would have hoped, Eric fought tooth and nail to get the insurance company to get their asses in gear - he even went as far as to get the manager of my insurance company involved and everything was resolved quickly. He was able to give me a rental vehicle, amazing customer service, and updates on every move he and Joe had made with my car. He went above and beyond by buffing out the scratches all around my car, detailing the entire inside interior, and even shining up the Chevy symbols! I missed my car, but when I got her back it was like she was brand new again. I personally myself recommend J&A auto body to anyone on the Northshore area, cracked up my new 2016 accord sport with 7k miles brought my car in and the owner Eric Capolupo who I met personally and spoke to in person about the damages and what it would take to get my car looking new again.. Eric had my car right in and out and fixed in short time before the estimated pick up date and my car looks like it just rolled off the show room floor "again" Eric was very profession about it all and took very great care of my car still had my change in the cup holders all my papers were organized as it was when I brought it in no sign that it was ever in a body shop when I picked my car up, clean and the work he performed was amazingly done. I've recently got my car fixed through J&A Auto Body in Wakefield and I couldn't be more pleased. From the second I stepped into the shop, Eric and Joe greeted me right away and I was very stressed since my new car I just bought, had just been hit. I recently took my vehicle and work with Eric. He knows customer service! He provided me with a personal, professional and honest assessment of my car. I have a very busy work schedule and travel a great deal for my job. He met with me on a Saturday morning at his home to provide me with an initial car assessment. I appreciated his flexibility and willingness to meet me on a weekend! He maintained contact with me throughout the process of doing the work made recommendations on care of my vehicle to maintain the body work provided. Finally, honesty! I wanted an assessment of my vehicle before submitting a claim to my insurance. I wanted to see if that would be a cheaper and he confirmed that it would be best to go without putting a claim. This is by far the best Autobody shop to have your vehicles repaired. Eric and Joe were professional and honest from drop off to pick up. My son was in an accident and his car was a newer model Nissan and in mint condition. After Eric and Joe had taken apart the car they discovered more damage and notified the insurance co. The insurance co sent out an appraiser and they discovered more damage as well and were going to pay the Autobody shop to repair. Problem was the insurance company wanted to pay the shop to get replacement parts from a secondary market which this Autobody would not agree to. They went as far as going to the regional manager to fight for there customers rights and get nissan factory parts not second market parts. They kept there promise on a quality finish. BEST BODY SHOP EVER!!! Customer service AND result wise. My car got hit a few months ago and my insurance company was not helpful in any way shape or form, however- Eric went above and beyond in every way possible. From reaching out every day to give me updates to battling my insurance company to make sure I got treated as fairly as possible. It's hard to find good service and someone who actually cares not only about getting the repair done, but cares about doing it the right way that benefits everyone involved in a timely manner. I couldn't have asked for better service or results. Not only did they fix the damage, they also detailed the whole interior and exterior, buffed the WHOLE car eliminating any little scratches. I've been doing business with Joe and Eric for years. The number one trait that they have always stuck with, is quality. It may take an extra time for you to get your vehicle back, but know ahead of time that it's going to be so worth it when you see the finished product. I just got my 2010 Dodge Journey back and not only was the visible damage repaired excellently, but when I picked the vehicle up, Joe showed me The front reinforcement bar that goes behind the bumper cover. It was bent so badly from a previous accident before I owned it, that if I ever been in a head on collision that reinforcement bar would've failed to protect myself and my family. Every one at J & A will go the extra mile (or ten) for their customers. I had work done on my Subaru after I was rear ended. Now the car looks just as good as it did when it left the dealer. My main contact was Eric and he did extra work by dealing with the 2 insurance companys one for the accident itself and the other for rental (something he did not have to do). He was also able to work with me to save money so I could get some extras fixed on the car while it was in the body shop. I just picked up my wife's Nissan from J+A .It had been hit in the rear. I worked with Eric on this and he couldn't have been more helpful and professional .The repair was done in such a way that you would never guess that it had been hit. J&A auto body is a great establishment if one's want to have their vehicle repair properly. Two months ago, I brought my 2015 Pilot to them after it was involved in a fender bender. Eric kept me informed on every steps of the repairs and he even dealt with the insurance company on getting the recommended repair parts for the Pilot. I can't say enough about J&A! They are absolutely amazing. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. My car has never looked so good - I'm serious! My husband keeps staring at my car in amazement. Even my teenager thought it looked awesome (and it's an '03 Outback Wagon!) I am so pleased with the personal attention Eric gave me when giving the estimate for my auto repair. You can tell from the beginning that he cares for each customer and aims to please them. He explained in full what needed to be done on the bumper and side panel of door. His estimate was very reasonable. When his sub worker ended up charging him more than the original estimate, Eric did not charge me the additional fee. I was willing to pay more but he insisted to stay with the 1st quote! The owners and staff here go above and beyond all other body shops that I've been to. In the 2 times I've used them in recent months (unfortunate accidents), they fought with insurance claims inspectors who had low-balled my repair costs. J&A was successful in getting all the parts and labor my car needed, paid for by the insurance company. They are like family, i was kept informed of the schedule and progress. When they found out my car wasn't driveable, I was moved up in the schedule so that I could minimize my rental.
