Jacob Atkins of J &B Towing provided us professional and very experienced assistance when our Camping RV broke down yesterday on Hwy 5 near sunset where there were no highway lights and we were stranded in the dark without our hazard lights operable. He rushed to our call after a very long day, diagnosed our mechanical problem which 2 stops at Les Schwab had missedthat same day, and made sufficient repairs to safely tow us to the closest reputable repair shop. He examined carefully what he found and showed us the clips that caused the problem. He tied our bikes safely on his truck and made certain we were safely settled at the repair shop before leaving. I found myself in a predicament when I I didn't have the key fob to my Porsche! Locked out, but with a new unprogrammed key fob in my glove box, I called JB towing and explained the issue! Monica, who is a fabulous young lady, guided me through the process of what I would need to do! She's an amazing amazing young lady! We had a flat tire while enroute to Astoria recently. AAA sent Shane of J&B towing to our rescue. There was a missing component of the spare lowering crane but he was able to lower the tire another way. I then realized I didn't have the special seven ridged socket for the lug nuts. Shane quickly phoned a local auto parts store. They had the part so we hopped into the service truck to go get it. Shane was determined to safely get us back on the road. Excellent service! One of the wheels on my car developed a very loud metal-on-metal noise as I was driving to an event. Once there, I called AAA and Antonio with J&B Towing came to help. He arrived quickly and and worked efficiently to trouble shoot the unusual problem. He was friendly and patient, and was able to successfully fix the issue. I'm so thankful for his expertise, and with his help I was able to drive home with no further issues. Called j&b towing for a tow from i-5 kalama and was told the driver would give me the rates witch he did not do until we got to are destination and wanted payment before he would take my vehicle off his truck, he said to me and i quote "you are not going to like the price, it is $281.39, he then tells me if i would of had AAA he would not had to charge me so much for milage. That makes no sense, if i had AAA it would not of cost me nothing. My vehicle was towed 11 miles and cost $281.39 and when i got my receipt in a text message if was from carls towing. I had no intensions of giving carls towing any of my business, i have delt with them in the past and do not like the way they strong arm you when your down, just like they did tonight. When you do the math they charged me $21.00 a mile. I would not call them for a tow unless you got money to burn. They got a nice expensive truck that me and you are paying for. Robbery. read more

I've been a AAA member for years and never actually had to use them. Today they sent J and B towing to my rescue (in less than ten minutes!) and I'm forever grateful. I had my one year old daughter with me and the guy who came out wasn't sure that my lugs fit my spare correctly. I only had to drive about a mile so he offered (or insisted) on following us to Les Schwab to make sure we made it safely. We had a flat on I5 horrible pouring rain we had difficulties getting spare on called them for a tow just to get off the freeway they arrived in 20 minutes by then we almost had spare on. Tow truck driver was a very nice young man helped us with his tools to finish the job. We are so very thankful for J&B towing!!!! Called for roadside assistance to change a flat tire on a trailer. They said they didn't have the tools to help. I asked incredulously why they (as a towing company) would not have a 5/8" tire iron? The operator said they did not have those tools. Would not reccomend a towing company that doesn't have a tire iron. read more

Had a tire blow out on I5. Even if I could change the tire by myself, which I cannot due to an injury, there was no way I was doing it on I5 without safety gear. Holy cow it's scary just sitting in the car. I called J and B and they sent a tow truck and an awesome guy named Bob who happily changed out my tire (safely) and we were on our way. read more

I recently broke down on the freeway with my kids. I called a couple towing companies and J&B towing was by far the most reasonable.The tow truck driver arrived in less than 20, which was huge to me because I had my kids with me. NOT SAFE!!!! Southbound I-5 at 8:45 pm 9/15/16. The flatbed truck picked up a car from the left shoulder just inside the construction zone before La Center. Traffic (doing 60ish mph) merged to the center lane to let the truck onto the freeway. The genius driving the tow truck apparently thought it was perfectly safe to go ahead and cut over into the middle lane with all of the 60 mph traffic even though he was doing MAYBE 25 mph. As everyone behind the tow truck braked excessively hard and scattered mostly into the left lane to try and avoid a 12+ car accident, the truck continued to cut across into the far right lane into the semi trucks, who also had to brake to avoid him, so that it could make the exit to La Center. Dangerous, not safe, narrowly missed causing a pile-up on I-5. Terrible choice endangering so many people. read more
