If you are looking for excellent service, fast, service, and a solid deal on used or new tires then this is your place. The used tires that I have been buying have 90% or better tread and I pay about half price of a brand new tire. Part of the savings is in the mounting, balancing, and valve stems. Those little hidden fees add up considerably. All of their used tires come with a 30 day warranty with no questions asked. Sure the big tire shops will offer a road hazard warranty, that you often pay extra for. In 35 years of driving, I have only made good on that road hazard warranty one time. If I'm buying tires at half price, that math simply doesn't work for me anymore. I highly recommend these people for all of your tire work. If you need new tires, just pull in and they will give you choices of used ones that can be mounted in 10 minutes, or she will pull up her distributor pricing and give you a Smokin Hot deal on brand new tires that she can install the next day. Recently on a long RV trip I managed to severely damage a 22.5" rear tire on my RV when parking at…read morean RV park in Branson. It was late in the day, but my roadside assistance insurance located the this Goodyear Tire dealer in Springfield who were willing to drive the 60 miles to Branson to replace my tire. The technician who showed up was professional in every way. While he was not so experienced with RVs he managed to replace my tire well enough. My biggest issue was that the tire they sold me had a date code of 2017 which means that it can be as much as 4 years old. RV tires are to be changed every 6 years regardless of the tread since they become a risk for blowouts. Despite the age of this tire they charged me $446 for this tire after a $70 discount for the age. It is my feeling that it should have had a $174 discount since I will be throwing it away in 2 years. They gave me the excuse that it has a 3 year warranty, that tires were in short supply, and that it was stored in a dark cool warehouse. I am finding that tires are not in short supply. What good will a 3-year warranty do me if this tire blows out and I do serious damage to my RV? Tires age a bit slower in a cool dark warehouse, but they still age. The gurus on the RV Forums advised to still go by the date code for the replacement. The technician told me that if I had waited until the next day they could order a tire with a new date code, but they knew I needed to leave the next day and took advantage of someone who had little choice. If you are local you should know that this is an indication of how honest and fair they may be with you. I would steer clear of this shop.

They rotated the tires once as I requested front to back. The noise persisted but not as bad, so we came back a second time and Andrew (and his crew) cross rotated them this time which solved the problem. They even gave us a referral to Christian Brothers automotive for an alignment check. Being 800 miles from home and receiving this kind of service from location M003 (Sunshine street location) was extremely helpful. We wouldn't go anywhere else for tire service when near Springfield. Robert, the owner.. still uses the older style (mechanical) Bear alignment machine, and he sure knows how to use it. I had previously had THREE, so-called wheel "alignments" done at different shops over the course of about six+ years, from Montana to Missouri, and cost me three(3) sets of tires as a result of these "modern" Electronic alignment machines. Robert did the Fourth (4th) alignment nearly Seven(7) years ago, now, and other than "normal" wear on the tires, they are running absolutely "true" with NO scuffing, feathering nor any other Abnormal tire wear of Any kind, that can result improper Caster, Camber, Toe In/Out settings, etc. There was an issue back about five(5) or so, years ago with an employee who was rather "rude" and belligerent to a few of Roberts customers.. he was fired and has Not been employed there for at least the past four years, now... could be longer, time fly's by anymore it seems, as one ages and we can now see the "sand" leaving the top half of the "hour glass". lol Robert, himself is a great guy, does Very good work, is very fast and is More than Fair with his prices compared to Any other tire shop.. Anywhere. Myself.. I am NOT in ANY Way, Shape or Form... related to Robert, nor receiving Any form of reimbursement for writing this. I am strictly just a customer who really appreciates an Honest man who has an honest business, works his "tail" off.. and who will Never "cheat" anyone. Roberts shop is Not the fanciest place in town... but his Integrity, more than makes up for the aesthetics of the building. I had been a customer for many years and had brought them alot of business threw the years too. But anyway while I was talking to the owner Rob that heavy guy with dangle earring looked at me and said "YOU MEAN YOUR STILL HERE?" and i said yeah i wanted to talk to the owner. You aren't the owner! He then threatened to hit me if I didnt leave I never had experienced anything like that in my life! Im 53 yrs old dont have an enemy to my name and he is treating me like that. My first thought was Rob the owner should have fired him right off but he acted like he was scared of him or something. Lol! I dont know but I left there and never I haven't ever or do i ever plan to go back!!! I went to Fast Stop Tire Shop and that is where i go now. So if you want good service respectable polite people than go there . Thats my new place.
