When I made a turn, I felt something jerking at my car and I thought I must have ran over something and not know it. So I turned into a gas station to the right of me (it's literally across from Firestone at the light between Longview and Peachtree Industrial Blvd. My car jerked the entire time and it freaked me out but luckily I was able to pull in and put on my emergency light. Apparently the guy from the 4 way stop followed me and pull right up to me and told me that my car was sparking fire coming from passenger's front tire. So we both walked around to check and he (thank goodness, was a mechanic himself) told me there's something wrong with my caliber. It was sparking fire while I was driving and didn't know it. I'm so lucky to have him noticed it and followed me to tell me. He told me to call the shop (literally across the st but hidden behind the Crossfit Octopus gym) and they can take a look. To my luck, it was a Jaguar and Land Rover auto shop! Then the guy left and I didn't catch his name but thanked him for noticing it. So I got back into my car and was perplexed on calling them but it was 5:30, I called and they were closing at 6pm! I told the front desk (Brandy) my situation and she told me the owner was coming over because he can see my car from across the street. His name is Luke Miles and he's the owner of The Shop, which is the name of the auto shop. So Luke ran over and accessed the tire and told me that a bolt was missing from the caliber. So he offered to drive the car back to the shop and I surely did not hesitate to let him take over as I was semi freaking out. They didn't have the bolt in the shop so Luke said he had to run to Buckhead to get it there. They did an outstanding job to get my car back within a few hours so that I can have it for work the next day. This speaks volume of the quality and care I got from them. Brandy - the front desk stayed late so that I can pick up my car and it was almost 7pm. I could not thank them enough for taking care of this for me. They also ran some diagnostics of everything that is wrong with my car that the actual dealership did not do. I won't go into details but I can't be any happier for the service I got that day. I highly recommend it and I plan on coming back to get a few things fix for my car because I know they'll take good care of me.

I purchased a Land Rover LR4 about a year ago and initially it had some possible concerns with the…read moretransmission. Overall the car looked great cosmetically but mechanically, it has definitely had some strange things.... I initially took it to Bear Valley Service in Alpharetta; they told me that I needed an entirely new transmission which are about $7,000 (cries). I then began to think that the car may have been a huge loss to purchase but decided to take it to The Shop instead and thank goodness I did. They wanted to try re-programming the transmission and maybe performing a fluid flush first before looking at getting an entirely new transmission. One of their own mechanics thought that it could have also been the torque converter which are still a few thousand dollars. They re-programmed the transmission which was about $120. They drove it and said that it drove like new and sure enough - it drives so smoothly. I truly can't thank them enough. My LR4 also had another weird issue involving some unsecured heat shields and thus burning/damaging some of the wiring harness. They repaired the issue and even said they wouldn't charge to re-diagnose if anything else went wrong afterward. I now go to them for all service and regular maintenance. This location might be closing? Nonetheless I will happily drive a little further to the Norcross location! They are not only knowledgeable but super nice and fun people; Trish remembers me and is always super sweet to talk to. They also work on some impressive cars (classics, defenders, etc) including those that most Land Rover dealerships won't even touch.

He does specialize in the European brands, though, as well as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, etc., but has the diagnostic systems and tools to work on just about anything.
