We also called the electrician that installed our whole house generator a couple of years ago. We left msg with that dude several times, & he didn't even have the courtesy to return the call & say sorry, too busy! Anyway, Romano was one of 3 who returned our call. Chris wasnt able to come by the same day but said he would call us the next day. The other 2 electricans left us with a "I'll call you next week if I have the time to come by" vibe. Translates to; let me see how my cash flow is going, & If I need money, I'll go by. Not Chris! He called us back within 30 min of our original call. Apologized he couldn't make it that day, but would be here the next day by a certain time. AND HE WAS! Dressed neatly, worked neatly & kept the mess (dust etc) to the minimum. Cleaned his work area as he went along, realizing he was in a kitchen & sawdust didn't mix well with food. Worked quickly. The following day we realized another switch wasnt working. We called him back. He was a bit confused a moment bc he hadn't touched that circuit, but was determined to solve the mystery. Our house was built in 1850. Layer of ceilings covered old wires from several decades ago. He was able to trace the wiring & power without cutting a large hole in my ceiling. Just 2 small squares. He was able to find the short in the wiring & patched the ceiling quite well too. Chris will be my first call in the future.

This summer, after 24 years of good service, our Lennox air conditioner unit failed. Almost all the representatives that contacted us noted that a failed compressor was the problem Another problem was that our unit was located beneath the roof in a third-floor attic. We decided to go with Continental Engineering, the same company that installed our unit 24 years ago. While each of the representatives was knowledgeable and courteous, it was Richard DiRocco from Continental Engineering that impressed us the most. Not only did he give us a reasonable estimate, but he also described how that unit on the third floor could be accessed and removed. Our min contact was Pam in the main office who made all the arrangements. When the day for the new units arrived, Roger and two assistants installed the new units. They were amazing. Before they removed the original unit, they put cloth over the stairs and other areas where they would be working. Everyone we dealt with at Continental was informative, helpful, and very professional. We look forward to many more years of comfort with our new unit.

I had a an emergency today (my heat went out), a Saturday, and the on call technician (Anthony) came out quickly and was very thorough in checking everything out and ultimately found the problem. The house is now heating back up. I had a similar emergency years ago when my water heater burst and they were equally responsive and helped me also get a clean up crew out. When the guys, Randy and Jimmy, came out to do the work, they were awesome. Polite, efficient, and kept us informed every step of the way. They cleaned up after themselves, wore masks and practiced safe distancing. We made a few changes to what we wanted installed and they handled them within the scope of the work. The initial call was very painless, and their availability was better than anybody else I called. Their pricing was high, but you pay a price for convenience and my time table was short, so I accepted that. They also showed up within their time window which was appreciated. The work was done well for the most part. Where it fell a bit short was that they left small pieces of wire and insulation all over the house. I'm still finding it today. Also, the technician left a tool of his at my house during the job. He called me once and I said I would keep an eye out for it. He then proceeded to keep calling my personal cell multiple times to keep asking if I had found it. This was in the middle of when we were trying to move. Also, the tool he lost? Maybe $10 at Lowe's. Am I happy with the work for the most part? Yes. Will I ever call them again? No. For what they charge, they should have been better about the details. I paid $90 per GFCI outlet to put it in perspective.
