While I got the beans and fries, she got the coleslaw and fries. My wife hated the coleslaw and asked for the beans. The coleslaw was done in a blender and had little flavor. The beans were okay. The fries had a weird taste. I recognized that taste, as the frying oil needing to be changed. The fries were over cooked and had a rancid taste. The pulled pork had a few big chunks of fat and the BBQ sauce was skimpy. But you could request for more.

And my BBQ is pretty darn good. My girls were not pleased that I chose Hod Daddy's at first. Then they tried it and asked me to go back the next day and get more. The girls loved the pulled pork sandwich which they said "needed nothing else, it was so good." He even chopped up a 1/4 chicken leg for my twins that wanted chicken instead of port. That was not on the menu but he obliged as he saw I had my hands full with these picky girls. They loved the chicken sandwich! My wife and I got the Pulled Pork and Ribs platter. Between the two of us, we had Brunswick Stew, Potato Salad, and Baked Beans as sides. As you know, you can judge a place on it's stew. Hog Daddy did not disappoint. His Brunswick Stew was FIRST RATE. The pulled pork was top notch. Juicy and did not need sauce. The ribs were perfect. Fell off the bone and were also juicy and full of flavor. My wife and I were stuffed about half way through the platter. It was a TON of food at an amazing price. We stopped in the next day and picked up more food for the drive home. We were after some good food, so for lunch my dad went with the classic pulled pork sandwich with a side of slaw. The sandwich was loaded with meat, enough for him to essentially have it served two ways and enjoy a bit with a fork before diving into the sandwich. The turkey was smoked well, retained a good bit of moisture and paired with the Alabama white sauce, was delightful! The sausage was the most surprising part of the meal, it was good size, had a great snap, was juicy and overall, was the best bite on my plate. The sides were good. Brunswick stew was fairly standard, and the okra was well fried and tasty.
