We had previously been calling other ports on our way south from a the Columbia River with absolutely no luck. We left a message on the answering machine and within 30 minutes got a call back. Turns out it was the proprietor's day off and he called anyway! What happens next is nothing short of amazing. He drives down to our boat to see if we can make a repair with his equipment and then loads our sails and takes us back to his shop. What an awesome human being!!! Keep in mind that his specialty isn't sail repair but he helped us out anyway. With our repairs complete we're continuing our journey south to San Diego. Rommel, you are our savior! When I picked up my van, both arm rests spun around in circles and the passenger seat would not recline. "Bring it back in a few weeks and I'll fix it". Mr. Gil replaced a cable that allowed the passenger seat to now recline and he fixed one arm rest from spinning around but I would need to return again for him to fix the arm rest on the passenger seat. These pews would be either all wood or wood with upholstery seats and kneelers. The existing pews/kneelers have reached the end of their useful life (currently 28 years old). Plus, they are moveable, not secure to the floor. Although it took a while to generate a plan view drawing to layout all the new pews and setbacks in the worship area. Roger and his ACAD. technician did a very good job of producing an accurate drawing. Thus, he was able to estimate costs based on the detail in the drawing. Overall, I was very pleased and satisfied with his professional work. Roger knows a lot about church upgrade projects. We talked often during this process and I found that Roger was a very pleasant person to work with. I would definitely recommend Roger to anyone that needs help with church improvement projects.
