I was notified a few days in advance of the estimated drop off time which was accurate. The driver walked me through the process with instructions on how to load, lock and secure. They then lie on the phone about the contract and pressure you into signing a contract without reading what it says which is not what they verbally say. When movers arrive....a day late, they charge you TWO times as much as they quoted because they think they can stick you when you are vulnerable. I lucked out with Reliable Movers - not only were they responsive and willing to book me from out of state for a move-in to a place with multiple sets of stairs, when they arrived they were helpful, friendly, and even prevented some damage that would have been done because of the way my outgoing movers packed my truck. They took great care with all of my items, got everything to exactly where I asked it to be placed even though I was stuck outside with the truck providing information, and got it all done in record time. The crew that showed up on move-in day were about twenty minutes early, after checking in with me via phone and text. Everyone was helpful and courteous. This was an excellent moving experience and I will be hanging on to Reliable's contact information for my eventual move to another location. The price for unloading into my new home was great, especially given the stairs involved. No one likes to make furniture go up narrow stairs - Reliable's crew made it happen quickly with a clearly practiced pace.
