Jose and the crew arrived really quickly, and got started working right away. That's where the good part of the story ends. As I mentioned, my sewer main was clogged up, the toilets and showers were draining extremely slowly. Our house is pretty old and has a troublesome spot, so this isn't the first time we've had a plumber snake the sewer main or hydrojet it. Because getting the sewer main cleaned out is kinda "routine" to me (once every year or two in these old houses) I didn't really pay much attention to what they were doing. So after a few minutes, I walk by the bathroom and notice dark brown water streaming out of the toilets and filling up the bathtub and shower. I run outside in a panic trying to get the attention of the guy on the roof and realize there's another by the truck, so I tell them water is coming out of the toilets and they shut the machine off. We go inside. The good news, they say, is that the sewer is clean now and everything works fine. "What about all the poop water everywhere?!" I ask. Rather panicked. "Don't worry we'll take care of it." I was told. So I sat and waited. About 20 minutes later one of the plumbers walks in with a single microfiber rag and starts slowly cleaning up the floor in the bathrooms. He asks for some bleach. To their credit, the two plumbers did clean up most of the visible muck. There was still quite a bit under the toilet seats, the toilets were dirty. I ended up having to disinfect my bedroom pretty heavily and I'm still unsure if any sewage water seeped under the laminate flooring (they insist it didn't because they "cleaned it up right away") Afterwards the plumbers asked me to call the office to handle the payment. I called and was again asked for the full amount, no apology for the mess really. I told them what happened and the receptionist offered to "send Jose out tomorrow to clean it up some more". Like, you turned my bathroom into a biohazard and that's the best you can do? Aren't you supposed to bring in a professional cleaner when you cause an accident like that? A steam cleaner and a shop vac at least? They used one (1) microfiber towel and asked me for bleach! They didn't seem prepared for the chance of an accident at all. And the accident could have been avoided if one of the employees stayed inside monitoring the toilets and showers to make sure this didn't happen.

One of the connector under my sink was leaking. He changed it but forgot to one small part inside the line (according to the other plumber who came at a later date to fix the problem). The problem was not obvious initially, but after 2-3 months the connector portion started leaking more and more. That was one reason for this review. Another reason is, I had problem with my shower temperature and suspect something is wrong with shower cartridges. However Chris told me he doesn't know how to take this shower handle off so he needs to cut off the handle to access inside and so I will have to replace the handle as well if I want the job done. Well, the plumber that fixed my sink issue had no problem taking off the handle. He did have to spend a bit more time figuring it out. There is some corrosion around the screw area but it was doable. So either Chris ability is not as good or he doesn't have the patience to figure it out. For that reason, the service he provided a few months back was not satisfactory

He made sure any mess from unclogging he took care of and was thorough with keeping my bathroom, spic and span. Mind you a typical snaking from any plumbing company is $100. So not only did he more than double the quoted price it was above market standard. Now when I questioned him he suddenly couldn't speak English or Spanish. There was some back and forth, he then said he could give it to me for 160. On trying to pay the bill via Zelle, I got 3 warnings from Zelle stating they do not do any payments to this individual. So by now I had 2 RED FLAGS, unfortunately I am a person that feels someone should be paid for their work. So i gave him a check for 160. My fault, I should not have done that. I gave him the opportunity to refund me some of the money after I had a day to cool down. Stating his lack of professionalism, to which suddenly he spoke perfect Spanish with no issue. Another RED FLAG So to sum it up, INCONSISTENT PRICING, ACTS like he can't speak when addressing the pricing, and didn't even clean all the grease on the cabinet under the sink. I paid almost $17k for a descale and epoxy 2 yrs ago. My lines were not cleared and I called them…read moreout again. They basically told me the line was fine and that I was imagining the flood in my kitchen and laundry room. Because the job was under warranty, I finally called them back and said that I really needed them to fix the problem. Robert came out and quoted me an additional $22k to fix something in my slab. He used a sharpie to draw an X on my floor so he could remember the exact spot. Then he told me I needed to sign the contract right way. Obviously I didn't! He then lowered the price to $18.5k, but by then I had decided not to use prodigy, even though the work was under warranty. I called in called another company (actually 2) and not only did they inform me that Robert was dead wrong, but both plumbers ran cameras and showed me that the line had never been properly epoxied in the first place. Owner Mark refuses to return my call. I hope this review prompts him to reach out. My next step is the licensing board, then attorney. This would be so much easier if Mark would just call me!
