Recently I was searching for a place to get dynamometer numbers for a VW Jetta TDI build I and a…read morefriend did. Calibrating a dynamometer for a diesel instead of a gas vehicle is a total pain. The engines apply torque differently, so every other dyno shop in town was unwilling to let us run our vehicle on their machine. Thankfully Brady's was willing to re-calibrate their dynamometer to throw a load to our diesel allowing us to measure the engine's power. The gentleman who operated the dyno asked us what RPM we wanted to rev the engine to - which I appreciated. I've put cars on the dynamometer at other shops and they just floor it; which is terrifying. Not only were we thankful they got us in, we were also impressed with the power number the little VW made. We were pleasantly surprised that Brady's charged us $20 less than we were expecting to pay! Thank you Brady's for getting us and our frenken-vee-dub in for dynamometer runs when others were unwilling!
