I have been purchasing tires there for my vehicles because the pricing is competitive, and they offer free rotations. I recently went for my free rotation in mid-April. They checked me in about 3:00 and mentioned they had an apprentice in the shop. About 15 minutes later, the advisor came out to tell me they could not work on the vehicle because several lug nuts on the studs of 4 of the wheels were stripped and loose. They said I could take it somewhere else; they could not get me in until sometime the following week because the regular technician was out and would not be back until then. They never claimed responsibility for the damage to the studs or advised me that it was unsafe to take it out of the shop. They never offered to schedule the repair; they just wanted this to go away. I immediately took this to another service center, and even they had never seen damage like this, with so many nuts and studs on all the wheels, and I managed to return to the shop the following week to address this with the owner. They had my paperwork set aside but did not reach out to me, probably hoping I would not address the situation. The owner said he needed a couple of days to make some calls and would get back to me with a resolution regarding the repairs and the expense the other shop incurred to correct the apprentice's damage. Here we are, weeks later, with no follow-up and no callbacks. I will also make the community aware through The Epharta Review and Lancaster Online. You should note that other customers have made reviews stating that their lug nuts were too tight. If you read Hurst's mission statement, it mentions they support local small businesses, but what about taking care of our community and keeping us safe with responsible and honest repairs?

They are not looking to get you in new tires when your tires are good! Had a bad experience with Mavis trying to get my son to but 4 new tires because of a small nail in a tread of one tire. Hurst fixed it without any issues! My most recent experience was another nail in my tire which I showed up at 4:30p, they immediately took my car back and fixed it within 10 min and I was out the door. They even tried to apologize it took long??? This was so fast, inexpensive and I was so pleased it was able to be fixed! Thanks again to Hurst tire staff for their great service!

With them missing or forgetting to do what we needed. Their resolution is "we will get that next time." Not just once or twice. At least the last 5 visits. Most recently we had a car inspection. Needed an oil change but they didn't notice, and didn't offer. Decided to take that car to dealership who happens to be on the same block as Daddario but much easier to get in and out of, plus the dealership is open on Saturdays. Anyway, we go in for an oil change and the mechanic noticed a hole in the tire. A dangerous hole that could cause a blow out on the highway. How did Daddario miss this in inspection? The car had recently hit a bad pothole in neighborhood, left behind by utility company. The inspection was immediately after that incident. I feel like Daddario is in too much of a rush or their mechanics are lazy. They've lost our business. The only reason it's 2 stars instead of 1, is because the guys on the phone and at the desk are friendly. But, yet no accountability for missing and forgetting things.

A discount was given due to his job's afflication with them. I was the one who took my car in and waited for it to be done. Their waiting room was decent for a repair shop and I enjoyed sitting by their big picture window watching birds come and go from the feeder they installed. The front parking lot is tight, and I'm not exactly sure where they take the cars while they're working on them, but it was done quickly. I don't think I was there for more than an hour. Immediately when I got inside I noticed one of the indicator lights were on. After my boyfriend, a mechanic, ran the codes it was determined to be a tire sensor. It was obviously damaged when the tires were replaced. He dealt with them after that, and it was a good bit of an ordeal getting them to pay for the replacement. However it was more than one, as the light was still on after they did the repair. They refused to pay for any more and claimed they were going bad before the tires were put on. I will say I had no problems prior to the tires, and even after I paid to have the others replaced we continued to have problems. I gave the car to my daughter several months back, a good year past when the tires were replaced and to this day she still has problems with the monitors. Three stars because the service I was there for was good, pricing was fair. However as far as admitting they caused the problem and resolving it I was dissatisfied.

Early on Monday at about 7:30am called to leave a message thinking no one would be there, but they answered. He said bring it in, said he would try to fix it that morning. I expected to have to wait, extend my hotel stay or even worse rent a car to return to work in NEPA and come back for the car when it was finished. So, went out to the car to head on over to the shop and discovered a flat tire- seriously! Changed the flat, got to the shop, discussed the issue and they took it right in. I returned to the hotel via Uber. Three hours later they called and said it was all ready, I told them I'd Uber right over to pick it up. They said, don't Uber, we'll come get you! I was shocked. They picked me up, we settled the bill and I was on my way back home. The price was extremely fair, they didn't take advantage of an "out of towner" and they mounted and installed the new tire placing the spare and the tools right where they belonged when they could have just chucked the stuff in the trunk. They showed pride in their work, care for the customer, and went above and beyond all for a reasonable price. I couldn't have found a better place. Thanks guys!!!
