I visited this salon to get my toenails done. The lady noticed that I had gel on my toes and charged me an extra $10 to remove it. I was okay with this because I needed my feet done first. However, when she started applying acrylic to one toe, she ended up doing two instead of one, even though only one toe needed it. This was because only one of my toes had a false nail. As she began working on my feet, my toenails looked like I could have done them myself at home. I noticed that she was using white polish instead of pink, which is the usual color for French tips. I asked her about this, but she didn't respond. When I asked her again, she said that she was using doing it the non gel way instead of gel. This confused me because I had specifically requested gel polish. She tried to make my toenails look better, but I told her that they didn't look right. She tried different polishes, but she kept arguing that by her not using gel polish that it was causing the problem. I asked her to use gel polish because that's what I was paying for but she said she needed to charge more. Finally, I told her to paint my feet with white nail polish after she was done. I gave her the money and walked out. She didn't even put lotion or oil on my feet or offer me the flip-flops that they usually give you. I will never return to this salon again. read more

I don't usually get my nails done often but I wanted to try this place since it was close to where I live and a friend that recommended this place. The lady did a good job on the nails, but i ended up being over charged and had a rude experience from her... I came in for a full acrylic set. The lady doing my nails asked if I knew what gel-x was and said it was better. I told her I wanted acrylic since I do gel-x at home. Things were going well until I asked her if I can do polish. She was trying to convince me not to do polish, said it was cheap, could chip easily, then said they don't have polish, and that gel was the same price. I went on and told her no thank you because I wanted specific polishes that I usually get, one coat of bubble bath and one coat of funny bunny. Then, she tells me to pay first before she puts the polish on... I thought it was odd especially because her whole demeanor changed after I told her I wanted polish. She charged me $60. I asked what made it $60 and she said normal acrylic is $55 plus the almond shape and she said I should've got the gel-x because it's the same price $55, and includes shaping and gel. Yet I already told her I wanted acrylic in the beginning. So I go ahead and pay for it and she got the polishes I asked for. But as she's painting my nails she tells me how it's cheap and said I'll probably remove the polish at home... I just looked at her uncomfortable. All I wanted was acrylic and polish with the two shades that I usually get. On top of that.. I asked her if I could take a photo of the menu before I left and saw that the price for acrylic set is $45 and up and asked her why I was charged $60 and she said it's because of the shape and the length. It didn't make sense bc when she clipped the nail extensions and she asked how the length was and I asked her to do it shorter. Then she said $45 is base price for acrylic without the extensions. I told her that it wasn't normal. Ive never had an experience like this for the same service that I get other nail salons. The service ended off in a rude experience. read more

I had gotten my nails done at my usual salon and felt bad about telling my tech that I didn't like them as she had another appt after me. I should've just been honest and came back the next day to get them redone because instead I panicked and came here to get my nails fixed and had the worst experience. When I showed the tech my nails and explained why I didn't like them, she just kept telling me she thought they looked fine. I had to ask her several times to please fix them before she agreed to. I asked for a nude base with small hearts and some crystals. The hearts were sloppy and I asked if we could just wipe them off and do a French tip instead (since the hearts weren't cured). She told me I don't know what hearts look like and then did an even worse French tip. I got frustrated with how bad everything was turning out that I started crying. The tech said, "ok when you're done crying you can tell me what you want". I was so upset with the whole ordeal that I wound up paying her the $10 she demanded and leaving with an uncured base coat. I will absolutely never be back here, and tell everyone to stay away from this salon. The customer service and level of skill is severely lacking and no one deserves to be treated like that. read more

Lynn is the nail artist for me! She's relatively new at this location but has been in the business for years. As one who doesn't get manicures often, I didn't understand all the pros and cons of acrylic, gel-x, powder dip, and she took the time to explain. She was also upfront about how much these different methods would cost me, and I appreciated her honesty. I love how my nails look and just as importantly, I am pleased that it didn't hurt! Sometimes it hurts during fills but that didn't happen with Lynn. So happy she's at Sassy Nails! read more

Well the woman who did my pedicure really messed up. I went there 2 months ago and my feet are worse since she did them. I have some small bumps on my leg from a contaminated towel. The bottom of my feet were smooth for 13 years while in prison and I go here and it feels like I have been walking outside 50 years without shoes. The gel polish was not gel polish but got charged for that and a $10 charge for four dots as a design. Never again. I give them a negative 50 points. Let me clear the date up it was exactly Three and half weeks ago. So they write back and say it's something else. Well let me say this! I have OCD and that is impossible since I'm always at work. I thought getting this pedicure would make me feel better. But no not true. When I went to emergency room they stated that it was a bacteria from the bowl where feet were done. Came here for the first time because my usual nail tech was booked on a Saturday. I came in to Sassy nails in the afternoon, and they definitely live up to their name. Two ladies helped me, one did my pedicure while another did my acrylic nails on the side. When I walked in a lady asked me what I wanted. I just wanted a French tip and fill, I asked for that and was directed to the two ladies. The lady for my pedicure was very sweet and respectful. However, the lady doing my acrylics was a much older lady with very very little patience. I asked her for a fill with French tip. She tells me that I can't get a French tip because my nails are too grown out and falling out. This was not true- I get my nails done every two weeks. She goes ahead and starts filing down my acrylic. She files it down to the point where there's nothing left but my natural nails. She accidentally cut me twice while filing then tells me my nails are too broken for a fill while ripping off my nail. She then tells me she needs to fix 3 nails and charge me!! I tried to be patient and understanding but this really upset me because she is the one who broke my nails. I tell her I don't want it fixed and just want a fill. She then raises her voice and yells at me, then proceeds to talk in Vietnamese with the lady doing my pedicure with an upsetting tone of voice. She continues to whine at me and tell she can't work with my nails. I told her to fix it so I can get French tip. She tells me she can't do French tip. I then settle for a solid color. Long story short. She breaks my nails, doesn't let me get a French tip (yell at me for asking), becomes upset with me for wanting to change the color I asked for BEFORE she started painting, and then overcharges me at $98 for thick acrylic nails and messy gel polish. I decided to leave her a $5 tip and she said "only $5?!" Looks like I let a four year old paint my nails in the photos I added. Do not let this company disrespect you, I spoke back to her but did not ask for another nail technician like I should have. Came in because there was a sign that said $40 mani pedi combo. The sign pictured mani pedi with white tips so that's what I asked for. Tech suggested mani portion be gel. I said ok. Bill was $85. Somehow adding gel to the mani was an extra $45. I will keep looking for a salon that is reasonably priced. read more

I went in today to get a gel manicure and for some self care since it's been a while since I get my nails done. I decided to try this place out. When my manicure was done, my nails looked horrible. The tips of my nails look awful and the gel looks blotchy and there's bubbles in the polish. I really thought they would be more gentle with the work because it was empty but the lady seemed to rush the manicure. Unfortunately I did not like the manicure and I will not be returning to this location. Also, the price was expensive. I paid 36 dollars for this gel manicure. read more
