I was greeted right in the door. Served my drink in a flash. Salad was a solid decent side salad. Might have been a little disappointing had the pizza not been super exceptional! Wowzapalooza! A thin crust pizza that will make you never need all that thick crust to satisfy ever again! The crust has a beautiful yeasty flavor that was so tasty. It holds up its crispy structure even with pepperoni, onion, green peppers, and a hearty amount of mushrooms. Very good pizza and I highly recommend it. read more

Ordered a meal lovers pizza, give it a 6 out of 10,crust good,toppings so so,was not a big fan of the cheese .on the other hand, used to box stores flavor .service was great every body frenly and cheerful. I got the 16 inch with mushrooms and extra cheese and it was the best thin crust pizza that I have had in a long time! We're traveling and staying in a nearby hotel. We started to order pizza from a nearby Pizza Hut. We know what that is. However, I saw J. Bella's on Yelp, and it had good reviews. We decided to try something new. One review said the thin crust is especially good. We found it to be leathery with a scorched aftertaste. The main flavor was salt. We threw most of it away. It appears that it once offered eat in service. There was a sign saying there was no longer dine in service. Also, they charge extra to use a credit card, so the price quoted was lower than the actual cost. read more

Checked out this place on a recommendation from local. Pizza bottom was crispy with slight brick oven flavor. No surrounding crust to grab so finger in the cheese and sauce. Plenty of cheese and sauce available but slightly salty flavor. Texture is a bit tough and gave my jaw a workout. Good news is the medium is actually a medium and stay crispy even with take out. Pizza was ready as quoted on order but take note they have a credit card markup. read more

One of the worst pizzas I've had in recent memory. Thin crust is very leathery. Sauce is extremely salty. Also charged a not previously mentioned extra charge for using a card. Not cool. It was just OK. We went for the reviews. If you're a fan of super thin cracker type crust you'll probably like it. It is as pretty bland tasting. Also, no ticket comes to table to look at or pay. They just tell you to come to register where they ring you out. So our tip, no pun intended, ask to see your ticket because we're pretty sure they had added on a tip and we had left a cash tip on table already read more

The pizza they gave me was thin crust. I think that's their standard. Overall it was good but it took a lot of work to eat the pizza. It takes a lot of chewing. My temples were a little swollen/hurting as a result. But that always happens when I eat something that requires a lot of molar munching. The flavor was nice, generous with the toppings. The girl at the front desk was very nice and the place was clean. Overall I was would return but it's not at the top of my list. read more

We ordered take out from here tonight before checking in to our hotel for our one night passing through town. I like supporting small local places and this town seems full of chains. So between that and good reviews, this is what we picked. The restaurant is in a strip mall but it's cute enough. It was about half full when we picked up at 7:15 on a Saturday. That was interesting as we usually find these well-reviewed places to be packed with locals. On our way to our hotel 2 miles away, we saw a dozen chain restaurants that were totally packed so people were out. Maybe it was more tourist than locals, and I still wasn't tempted by the chains, but we still commented on it. We got a thin crust cheese and some cheesy bread. We were surprised that they don't have a Caesar salad, which I always love with pizza. The crust was a really good level of flakiness, but unfortunately that is the best I can say. The cheese was think but squeaky, vs gooey or stringy or anything else. It was VERY greasy. The cheesy bread was flavorless and their dipping sauce was more like a thin tomato mash. I like the freshness and chunkiness of the tomatos, but again this was, lacking much flavor too. I hate to be too critical on small businesses that are trying, but I also need to trust Yelp reviews and this pizza just wasn't good. Hopefully it was just an off night, and I grew up in Chicago so I may be pickier about pizza. I was going to give three stars maybe, but my husband and I both agreed we would have preferred Pizza Hut or Dominoes, and I really don't like Pizza Hut or Dominoes, so that made me rethink the third star. My kids also love pizza and my daughter didn't ask for a second piece and never even tried the cheesy bread, and my son wouldn't eat any of it. :( Pizza was quick and service was fine. Unfortunately, I wouldn't order here again unless it gets like 20 more rave reviews convincing me this experience was just a fluke. The pizza is really good, but the service is horrible. The blonde lady that is obviously kin to the owner is rude. Plus the place closes at 7 but you can't walk in at 6:05 and sit down? They won't let you. very disappointing! Why even own a pizza place if you aren't into customer service? Been multiple times just after 6 and they turn us away because they close at 7. They offer you take out instead. Very stupid! Some people can't get off work or out of school sport practices to eat before 6:15! Won't be back read more

I'm a business traveler that is always trying to find great mom n' pop restaurants. I'm really glad I found this little gem. Great food, great people. Dealing with the folks at J Bella's is nothing but a pleasant experience. They are all smiles and you can tell that they care about their food and service. I now get a pizza from this place every time I'm in Paducah and will continue to do so. The crust, to me, is perfect! It is soft, yet has the perfect amount of crunch on the bottom. Given the terrible state of Paducah's chain-saturated restaurant scene, I'm generally hesitant to leave negative reviews for local restaurants. In fact, I'm always glad to see local, family-owned businesses sprouting up and doing their best at breaking the area-wide Darden/fast-food stranglehold. However, after experiencing the disgusting food, terrible attitudes, and overall poor service at J Bella's Pizzeria twice, I can't allow other prospective customers to make the same mistakes I did. I'll do my best to keep my review brief, but I guarantee nothing. The building itself, while not quite as terrible as Pizza by the Pound, has seen better days. There's a certain feeling of uncleanliness that I just can't seem to shake. The seating is limited, but I doubt you'll have any problems finding open seats. Remarkably, the pizza is even worse than the building. It tastes like saltine crackers doused in ketchup seared to a nuclear crisp. In fact, the crust on my pizza was so dark, I felt like I was gazing into an eldritch abyss waiting to steal my soul for daring to examine what had been so skillfully prepared for me. Another troubling aspect of the pizza was a plastic taste that seemed to grow lighter the closer I got to the center. I'm sure I could've picked a better pizza out from Walmart. That's not saying everything was terrible, though. The fried cheese ravioli was actually decent. Flavor wise, I'd place it somewhere comfortably around McDonald's food. What inspired me to write this review was the horrendous service and attitudes my family experienced. The staff, who I'm assuming are all one happy family, acted like they hated the restaurant, each other, and life itself. I mean, I'd act similar if I were subjected to J Bella's pizza on a regular basis, but I digress. When my aunt went to pay for the "food" we were served on my second visit, no one would come to the register. All of the workers and the owner/"cook" were too preoccupied with pretending to watch a video on a cellphone. Are customers such a rare sight at J Bella's that they forgot how to interact with customers? Is the Kentucky educational system so bad that none of them know to approach the register when a customer is ready to present legal tender for services and products rendered? I'll never know. What I do know, however, is that while my aunt walked out after Captain J Bella graced her with his imposing presence, he began condescendingly singing "Happy Days Are Here Again" and stopped once she got outside. I hear his assault on her eardrums was as bad as the assault on our taste buds, but I can't confirm this. My aunt and another person who dined with us, both hoping to reach the owner before I finalized my review, tried to call and see what exactly led to this terrible turn of events. Instead, they were greeted with guttural grunts and excuses of "the restaurant being too busy" (quality humor, folks) keeping them from talking. I believe the funniest aspect of this clown fiesta was the presence of religious-themed artwork on the walls. They certainly didn't act like they were Christians, but maybe they briefly fell out of God's graces. There's no way I'll be back. I was willing to let the horrendous food slide, but I simply cannot allow my family to be treated as bad as they were without warning other people. Go to Pizza Warehouse, Pizza by the Pound, Pizza Inn, or even Domino's if you want pizza. I wish J Bella's the best, but in their current form, they are quite possibly the worst pizza place in the history of Paducah, maybe ever. read more

Being from Chicago I pride myself on knowing a good Pizza Pie-this is the Best Pizza for miles around!

I have known the owner of J Bella's for several years. I would travel from Nashville TN to eat at another pizza place he had before J. Bella's. Jeff, the owner, is very friendly and a great cook. The pizza is always very hot and tasty when it gets to your table. Very friendly staff that makes you feel at home. They also have great sandwiches if that is what you would rather have. I give it 5 stars because that is all that are allowed. read more

The staff is very rude!! Found bugs in my food!!! Was told that bugs are in their flour and they sift them out!!! Most of the food is pre-made and gross. If you eat there your gonna eat bugs! Go to City Rockers for good clean food!!! read more
