We ended up sharing both dishes and everything tasted fresh and high-quality. The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Besides the fact it is near a busy shopping area, this was a great stop on my road trip. I hadn't eaten much of a meal that day and got off the highway and decided to stop here. I didn't realize that they had so many hot sandwiches, baked potatoes, and broccoli as a side? This was exactly what I needed for a quick healthy meal. They've gotten my sandwich wrong every time I come here. My bacon was undercooked, it came without avocado and with tomato which was the opposite of how I ordered it. And when I got it corrected they barely put any avocado on it. It was honestly really insulting and I won't be back. read more

Traveling through and saw this deli. Not a lot of these in Colorado and it's one of my favorite places to eat. We ordered online while we were driving and chose curbside pickup. My husband tried the King Club. He said it was ok but next time he'd stick to his go-to choice-The McAlister Club-because it's less messy when you're trying to eat in the car on the go. I tried the Black Angus Roast Beef Spud-a most excellent choice if I do say so myself. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if they had added black olives as I requested. Other than that I need to remember that their Spud is actually two medium sized potatoes-a little too much for a light lunch. After a long walk back to the car we realized she had lost a piece off her hemi-cane in the process. When I returned to look for it, I noiced the same person was now taking orders. We like McAlisters as a chain. We don't live near any, so we typically stop while on the road. Stopped twice at this location a week apart. SLOW. Staff seems undertrained and the kitchen seems unorganized. It didn't take much for them to seem overwhelmed. I'm not sure if it's a poorly designed kitchen that can't handle anything even resembling a rush (it was hardly a rush while I was there) or if management needs to rethink things. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is that the staff was really nice. I had a chef salad and a side of tater salad. They skimped big time on the meat for the salad. When I got to the hotel, and pulled the salad bowl out I was amazed that it was about 3/4 full. That taste was fine, but where was the rest of it? Then I get to the tater salad. To be honest, it's my favorite tater salad of all the places I eat at. Tonight however, I think I got the last scoop from the bucket. It was runny and missing most of its taste. Wow, what a bad experience. First review I've ever written. Mistakes happen, but really? If someone orders a french dip and you bring it out with black olives all over it....and they politely send it back.....then you lose the "re-make" order....they politely remind you twice and have to leave half an hour later without ever getting their sandwich.... ....please train your managers to do more than transact a refund and offer a cookie when your staff screws up, badly. I left hungry, 40 minutes after I got there, and won't come back. There are a dozen ways I could have left satisfied, if not happy. Was never offered a "to go" order, gift card, etc.... just a cookie. We went here for dinner as the reviews were good, we were a little dissapointed. I had the Sweet Chipotle Chicken, good favor but no meat on it - maybe 2 ounces, it was all bread. The fresh fruit side was not ripe - very hard and too much Rhine. A lesson inpreperationcould help here. My wife's Ceasars salad looked great and she stated it was VG. Don't waste your money or time here. I have no idea how this place is still in business. Food is junk, hardly ever fresh, and the price is ridiculous. You couldn't pay me to eat here anymore. If you are looking for great food at a reasonable price but don't care about service, this is your place. The FOOD was AMAZING and I will definitely be trying the one near our home. The service, however, was subpar but not rude. The girls at the counter looked busy and a bit frazzled. We were not acknowledged until we made a comment about someone jumping the line (it had been a good 5-7 mins). We were there for a total of 15 mins picking up an online order, which was complete and waiting on the pass when we walked in. I did mention to the one girl that acknowledging a customer waiting does wonders after she showed concerned that we were waiting so long. Reading other reviews it seems everytime people go they have a bad experience. Everytime I go I have a moderately alright time. I've never experienced the 'brain dead zombie' employees the people in other reviews mention though I haven't particularly met any over-zealous/happy employees, but as someone that doesn't really want to talk to someone this is probably best for me. I usually get a newyorker and macaroni, both of which are always very good. The only complaints I have is that it seems to be a bit pricey. I'll probably make another visit between now and the end of march. read more

This used to be my favorite place to go in town I loved their savanna salad and their sandwiches. I went in there the other day and order the Savanna salad. I don't know what happened but it was very disappointing the GORGONZOLA cheese Tasted spoiled it was very mushy. And the sandwich that I ordered which was a turkey I think it was a turkey club it was supposed to have guacamole there is no guacamole in it and once again it had the Gorgonzola cheese which was very mushy and tasted very bad. It was a very disappointing lunch because I always look forward to going there but I don't know what happened that day nothing there tasted like it used to. I would've made there's zero stars but couldn't figure out how to do that. My friend was with me also and she had the same experience. I guess I'll have to avoid this restaurant from now on. It's very disappointing because I love the love love this place but I don't know maybe it was a bad day for the clock I don't know but it was very bad. Food was decent but service was awful. We ordered and after seeing the 13 groups behind us get their food we asked about ours. We were told it was getting bagged as we spoke. Ten minutes later it arrived. Suppose they can't figure out how bags work... Our food wasn't anything special either- one order each of potato, half sandwich, soup and nachos. If it was a huge order that would've been understandable. Altogether it took 40 minutes. Never going back if that's how they treat "To Go" orders. read more

Went for lunch with 4 friends. Really wanted chicken and dimplings were told they wrre discontinued. Ordered a 4 cheese griller on cibatta bread and a coke was told "we are out of large cups" joined my friends at the cleanest table we could find a staff member finally came over snd picked up the dirty dishes (no offer to wipe the table). Another staff member came over to inform me they were out of the bread I wanted and asked if I would like to change my bread type so I did. Worst dining experience I've ever had. Waited 50 minutes for 2 sandwiches Never again. I will be writing letter to the home office.

I have eaten at at least 20 different McAlisters. I will never return to this one. The first visit (2012) a tobacco chew pack was left on the table as an employee cleaned it. I asked if she would get it and maybe spray some anti bacterial on the table. She said, "Eww, no! That's disgusting." I waved down a manager and was told it wouldn't bite me as he cleaned it up. I had chili and threw up for two days with food poisoning. Steered clear next couple visits to Paducah, but needed a peach iced tea (so addictive) I asked for 3 pumps of peach. They told me my tea was over $5! They charged me $1.50 for each pump. No other McAlisters have EVER done that! They kept it as I turned around and walked out. That was 2013. In 2014 I was in a meeting and lunch was catered by McAlisters. The breads were soggy on the inside and hard on the outside, as if they were made the night before. Best McAlisters is in St..
