I've seen everything here from rock concerts to traveling shows like Cirque du Soleil, and they always bring in a solid lineup of events. It's about an hour and a half from my house, which makes it a really convenient spot for bigger shows without having to go all the way into a major city. The venue itself is well organized and the staff always do a good job keeping things running smoothly. I've always felt safe here, even when the crowd gets packed for sold out shows. Depending on the event, the setup can be seated or general admission, which keeps it flexible for different types of performances. Normally the acoustics are really good, although at the most recent show they were a little bit off compared to what I've experienced before. Ticket prices are pretty average overall not cheap, but not outrageous either for the artists they bring in. Overall, it's a great venue with a consistently good lineup, and I'll definitely keep coming back for shows here.

Your toe touching the aisle is grounds for getting continuously harassed, then thrown out. But not just out of the venue, they throw you out to the Bethlehem police (this is the money scheme they got going). So first they rape you with ticket, food & drink prices, then they get you in trouble with the law, for absolutely no reason. They feed the piggies sandwiches while they await the arrests. The tall dork in headphones is the one who calls the shots. He signals to the other event staff who he wants to throw out that night. They don't care who you are, but they do seem to target a certain type. We witnessed this many times, but always thought they were doing something wrong. NOPE! They are just looking for their bread & butter, and greasing the palms of Bethlehem's law system. You will get a nice sized citation in the mail with no way to fight it. By the time this "experience" is over, you've probably wasted $1000 of your hard-earned cash. Wind Creek and the Event Center are protected under the Patriot Act, where they can assault you and toss you out without any questions. The Bethlehem Police do not care, nor will they ask you any questions, because they are in cahoots with each other! Save yourself the money and trouble, and go anywhere else. The State Theater, Sherman, and so many others actually value your patronage and will treat you with respect. Wind Creek Event Center needs to shut down; they should be sued for running their scam on paying customers.

SteelStacks in Bethlehem absolutely surprised me in the best way…read more I'm used to the massive MusikFest setup, so rolling up to a smaller, all-grass stage felt totally different but honestly? It ended up being one of the most fun concert nights I've had in forever. I saw Set It Off, Zero 9:36, and Hollywood Undead... in the pouring rain... and it somehow made everything even better. The whole lawn has a gentle hill so you can see the stage from pretty much anywhere. Plus it's all general admission, which means you can wander, get closer, hang back by the buildings, sprawl out on the grass whatever fits your vibe in the moment. The acoustics were solid, the energy was wild, and we even got to meet a few of the Zero 9:36 guys afterward, which basically cemented the night as iconic. If you like flexible viewing, good sound, and concerts that turn into core memories because of the weather, the chaos, and the crowd SteelStacks is absolutely worth it.

Academically, the professors care about students and make connections with them. The small class sizes and accessible faculty have meant that he has been offered opportunities that would not have been available to him at a larger schools. We feel confident that he is developing strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills that will prepare him for graduate school, which is his current trajectory. We are thrilled with the choir program (if your kid sings, join their choir!), which has been both enriching for him. We are also excited about the study abroad program he has applied to, as it reflects the school's commitment to global learning and academic exploration. If there is one area for continued growth, it would be investing in additional faculty and modest campus expansion, as the school's strong programs and close-knit environment would benefit from slightly increased capacity. Overall, this has been an excellent choice!

The oven and fridge in the common room had spilled food in them and the counters were not wiped down...and this was on day 1! I expect that kind of thing mid-semester, but this seemed a bit much on the first day. Our son went to the gym and he said all the equipment looked like it needed a good cleaning as well. The people have been very nice so far and I have been pleased with the interactions he's had with administration, but I was disappointed on the cleanliness.

Lehigh is one of my favorite universities…read more Lehigh has some of the best athletic facilities of any school in the area, not counting Penn State of course. Their Patriot League teams have done very well academically and in sports. Lehigh makes good use of the space and their fields are impeccably clean and well irrigated. Everything is done very professionally, all the way down to the concession stands and bathrooms. One negative aspect is that the Goodman campus is so remote that you can't even fathom a means to walk to it from main campus, however there are buses on game days to provide students with a means of getting to and from the event.
