So I must be lucky, I've been here a handful of times for takeout and haven't had the negative experience that other reviewers have commented about. To be honest I only come here for the wings, and the bar was set pretty low given that about the only place to get wings in Oakwood is from under a heat lamp at the grocery store. Wow what a difference, I started with an order (10) of half buffalo and half spicy chili, both mild as I didn't know what their heat level was at here. Wings were still crispy after the drive home even with all the sauce, darn tasty as well. I've now upped the heat level to very hot and they pack a punch. The space isn't much to look at, but it's clean and well lit. Definitely worth giving them a shot, I might even try something other than the wings at some point. Enjoy! read more

This is one of those places that has a peculiarly varied menu with fried rice, wings and other mixed sandwich/salad fare. I stopped in for a salad and opted for gyro as my protein topping. Bad choice. It was like the texture of the sole of an old shoe. So tough! The salad wasn't much better, consisting of mostly the whitish core of the romaine head, way too much onion and carrots, and too few tomatoes. Their credit card print-out doesn't give an option for a tip, so I felt lousy about not having cash to tip. The guy behind the counter was busy tap-tapping on his cell phone and didn't bring me my food despite that I was sitting at a table with a drink and wanted to dine-in. He made a grunting sound to indicate that my bagged to-go salad was sitting on the counter. Maybe their typical meals are taken to-go, but I ate mine in the restaurant, a small, drab interior with little to coax me into wanting to return, unless I should do so to try out the wings. read more

This place is disgusting I had a plate with fried rice , fries and 5 piece hot wings and I found moving maggots in the bottom of my fried rice , I was so disgusted that I threw my plate away at a public trash can. I have been coming to this place for several years the quality of the food and the flavor of the food has been excellent!! Fried rice instead of fries is what opt for most of the time. Philly cheesesteak, wings, or buffalo-dipped tenders are my favorites, though I have moved out of the area I continue to return, especially for the freshness each time. read more

For a restaurant with "Buffalo Wings" in the name, their wings were mediocre at best. Tiny wings with a "meh" hot sauce, type of hot sauce you would get at a typical Chinese restaurant. Their menu is quite large. It has burgers, fries, cheesesteaks, wings, fried rice, and quite a few other items, none of which seem to make any sense. I also had their cheesesteak. It was ok, but a little greasy. It did have a hint of fried rice flavoring though, probably from cooking the meat on the same grill they make the fried rice. The fries were bland, no seasoning/salt on them. With the abundance of choices of eateries around Oakwood, I will just go someplace else. If they shrank their menu and improved on the items they keep on it, especially the buffalo wings, then I might return. read more

My favorite place when I've got a hankering for some wings! Best lemon pepper wings in town!!! We love this place. Great portions and the price is just right. My husband loves their fried rice. We were told his was the best Philly cheese steak and the best fried rice around......we were told wrong. We stopped in today for a long awaited taste of their fried rice, it was horrendous. My brother called and order some wings without spice (plane) when I get to the restaurant and see that the wings were mild I requested my Oder specifically how we order. The OWNER had me arguing with him to change my Oder after I had already payed for it. I'm Hispanic, I can eat spicy food all I want. But the wings were for my dad, Which the doctor prohibited him to eat spicy food for his own good. I wasn't going to risk my dads health just for the staffs error so I insisted on getting my dads wings. I ate at the one on East-West connector net to Walmart in Atlanta Georgia and got food poisoning, I only ate 3 wings before I through them away. At the time I thought they were just nasty wings. But oh boy on the second day it came back with aggression. I had to call out from work and was up all night sick as hell. How NOT to treat a loyal customer: Since J. Bufflo Wings opened in Oakwood we've been in there sometimes weekly ordering their wings and fried rice. I bet we've ordered 50 times since they opened. Tonight when we got home we found out they messed up our order and gave us some kind of lemon/seasoned wings instead of mild - no biggie. But when I called up there to let them know - and to tell them my wife would pick up the right ones - the owner in the background didn't believe me and said I had to bring in the wrong wings (10 small wings) before he'd make it right. What's worse is the guy on the phone has taken our order dozens of times, and we've never had a problem. After telling him to tell the owner that I'm a loyal customer and my wife didn't have the wings and was actually next door, he still insisted I bring them back to "prove" they were wrong. Wow. I will never (get that) - NEVER - go back to that restaurant. Very poorly done. Also, I might add that since they opened they have changed the size of their wings. They are nearly half the size they used to be (for the same price!). And when I asked about the drastic difference (I'm sure to save money), I was told they were the same (lie) and later that they had more flavor. read more
