The newer version had a larger deadbolt Than the one currently installed on my doors, this the hole had to be re-drilled larger. I was not comfortable doing that. Gary had straight forward pricing and was very easy to schedule. Other places tend to have hidden fees and end up charging you more than originally quoted- so their prices seem cheaper upfront to get your business but ends up being more expensive. After Gary updated two deadbolts to the digital versions the price came out exactly as quoted. He also rekeyed everything on the same key in the event the key is ever needed. I had some keys cut here because I needed to get them quickly. The keys were cut correctly, but I…read morewish the guy had told me *before* he cut them that the two keys I gave to him were identical before he cut me copies of both of them just stop confirm. They had different heads and since they don't always work to open one or another I assumed they were different. I think it wouldn't generally make sense for someone to bring two keys and ask for two copies of each if they knew they were the same key right? Anyway I spent twice as much as needed here for that reason, and the keys were something like $6 each to be cut so it wasn't an insignificant sum. I need to get all the knobs in my house replace and locks keyed alike but I will check around.
