Brett promised the world during the sales process, but once the contract was signed, the follow-through completely disappeared. After that, everything was handed off to Casey and communication went downhill fast. Weekend availability is terrible. I purchased the shutters in November, and installation didn't happen until months later. Brett measured my windows twice, then a younger employee came out and measured again. When the third-party installers finally showed up, they had the wrong measurements. How does that even happen after three separate visits? On top of that, Casey was extremely rude and condescending. She also kept my credit card on file without my permission, which is completely unacceptable. The level of unprofessionalism throughout this entire process was through the roof. Also, the first photo shown on this so-called business profile (the one with the curtains) apparently doesn't even belong to them...or at least that's the impression I got when I asked Brett about it. After all the inconvenience, delays, and frustration, I honestly expected some type of discount or acknowledgment of the issues. Unfortunately, that never happened. Very disappointing experience.

First, the installation team left without addressing the cracks/damage to my windowsill. They obviously saw the damage but did not mention it or let me know that someone would be scheduled to come back and fix it. I had to call the company myself and send pictures before they sent someone out. When they came back, all they did was sand down the damaged area and fill it in. I am also very disappointed with the fit of the shutters. I was told afterward that the shutters are not custom-sized and that the gap around them is "industry standard" because of the sizing of new-build windows. The gap is large enough that you can actually see the screws, which makes the shutters look like they were not properly sized for the window. What makes this even more disappointing is that their website advertises "custom shutters" and describes their shutters as having a "perfect fit." Someone came to my home to measure my windows before I purchased them, so I was under the impression that the shutters would be custom measured and ordered specifically for my windows. I was also told that I would have to wait weeks for the shutters because they needed to be ordered in the correct size. The final result does not look or feel like a custom, perfect-fit installation. When someone finally came out to address the damaged windowsill, I was also told that if I wanted to cover the large gap, I should purchase a weather stripping product from Amazon and install it myself. I was very surprised that after spending $1,500 on two windows, I was being directed to purchase something myself to make the shutters look properly finished. Had I known beforehand that there would be a noticeable gap, visible screws, and that I would essentially need to add my own weather stripping to make the installation look finished, I would have purchased from a different company. I spent approximately $1,500 on shutters for just two windows, so I expected a much better fit and finish. I understand that some clearance may be necessary for installation, but the large gap and visible screws are not what I expected from a company advertising custom shutters and a perfect fit. Overall, while the customer service was pleasant, I am extremely disappointed with the final product and the way the installation issues were handled. I wish the expectations regarding sizing, gaps, and installation had been made clear before I made the purchase.

We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully. Jeremy and Parker came out for measurements and made the whole process incredibly easy. They walked us through options, gave thoughtful suggestions, and provided an estimate. All in about 10-15 minutes. About two weeks later, they returned for installation and were done in under 5 minutes. Everything was seamless. The best part is how it turned out. It's exactly what we envisioned, if not better. We now have automated blinds in our bay window that give us privacy while still letting in light, and they look so clean in person. A week or so later I requested he come out again and bring some samples so I could take pictures to show my boss. That was no problem for him, he came out within a few days, and that evening I signed off on everything via email. Order was placed and I was told we'd have them installed within 3 weeks. It ended up taking 4 weeks, but that was no problem for me. I actually had to reschedule the original install date because I was sick, and they were very understanding and accommodating of that. The guy who installed them was efficient and super clean. It took about 5 hours for him to mount all of the roller shades we got, and everything looks perfect! I got quotes from a couple other companies, and while Sunburst was about the same price as the other places, I ultimately chose them because I liked Kimball better than the other people I met with. His personality and communication with me is what sealed the deal.
