I am very satisfied with my awning installation for our kitchen popout. First, Mike B. Was a great and extremely knowledgeable representative for AC. He was very clear and concise and had great answers to questions or provided access to things that weren't clear. He obviously had a lot of experience and was able to help hone in on the right solution for what we needed. The installation was really quick and the installers were polite and cleaned as they went along - very conscientious about doing good work. This was very meaningful and made a big difference to set AC apart. The only less that optimal things I would say Is that it took a very long time from order to installation and there was very little follow up after the order was placed - I had to call to get an update status and coordinate scheduling. Although not a deal breaker, I would have loved just a bit more info for planning etc. Finally - as with everything that is actually good quality, the cost was not super low. Today was an exciting day--we finally had our new awnings installed! The old burgundy ones had served their time and were long overdue for replacement, so this upgrade feels especially refreshing. The new bluish-green awnings are absolutely beautiful, and I love how they cast a soft blue glow through the windows. It gives the illusion of a sparkling backyard pool--without the work of maintaining one. Based on our experience, it's best to order awnings during the off-season. We placed our order in June, during the warmer months, which in hindsight wasn't the best decision since our replacement wasn't urgent. In the future, we'll plan to order during the colder months, when awnings aren't top of mind for most people and scheduling is likely easier.
