We went in to buy a new Civic and trade in our Accord. T Mark C. was the salesman that took our appt. Nice guy but he rushed us through the process. Didnt offer to have us test drive, sit in the vehicle or even see the car we were purchasing before having us fill out all the paperwork. I specifically asked during the survey they make you take to have him go over all the features. All he did was sync my phone and hand me they key. I had to ask him to explain a few things because he didnt offer. Then they wanted me to come all the way back to put the "courtesy" mud fenders on but i said i would rather get them on now because the dealership is a drive for us. I get handed off to service only to find out Mark didnt even give us the little service and car wash discount card. So i had to walk back over and find him. I then sat in the service waiting area for over an hour. The finance guy was as expected and tried to relate to my wife and me but was honestly obnoxious and his pandering fell short. This is a big purchase and we felt like we were just a commission. read more

I would leave ZERO stars if it was an option. Lindsay Honda has been the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with starting with the sales person and most recently with the service department. Here is the recent story....I called and spoke with service and scheduled my car for evaluation as it was making a noise it made when I first got it (that was the 1st issue as they knew it was an issue but tried to not replace the part). I told the woman I spoke with it was making the same noise as when the VTC Actuator needed replaced which was done on 11/22/2024. I specifically asked about it being under warranty and was told yes. I was then told they would need to do a diagnostic to confirm that was the problem. At no point was I told there would be a charge for anything. Matt Rittman (who stated he was a manager) called me when my car was there to tell me there is a $99 charge for the diagnostic which I replied with "I was not told that when scheduling". He also stated if it was the actuator it was not under warranty. I informed him of my conversation when scheduling and he basically told me that I either pay the amount or take the car. I was extremely frustrated and expressed that to him. I also told him that they were supposed to be checking if it needed an oil change and if so that needed done. He said he would check and call me back (which never happened). He was EXTREMELY rude during the conversation and in no uncertain terms I was told to not come back. When he went to speak to my ex husband who had taken in the car he was also very rude and as he walked away from him Matt said "That's your ex wife?...she's a piece of work " "don't ever come back here again and you can bounce" while raising his hands in the air. Understandably my ex was very upset and triggered. He thought they were going to get the main service manager Bill Lytle but then Matt (the same guy) came back and said he would not get him.This entire situation is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I have since emailed both the GM and Bill the service manager and neither have outreached either via email or phone. Not a way to run a business and the customer service was my nightmare! I am an older senior in my 80s, and I purchased a 22K‑mile 2019 Chevrolet Equinox Premier AWD from Lindsay Honda as an out‑of‑state buyer. I paid their full advertised price with no haggling, trusting the vehicle matched the condition they represented online. I relied on their advertisement, FaceTime walk‑around, and their claim in the advertisement that they invest an average of $1,800 refurbishing their higher‑end used cars. After flying there from Florida and driving the vehicle home, I discovered numerous issues that clearly existed before the sale and were never disclosed. These included electrical problems with navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and USB charging; missing advertised items such as the Trailer Hitch Close‑Out Cover and hardware; and a Keyless Entry Keypad that could not be used because the required factory master code was not provided. The vehicle was also delivered with Arroyo Grand Sport tires (the $85 Walmart‑type) on the front and very good quality OEM Hankook Kinergy GT tires on the rear. These two brands have different construction, quality levels, and published diameters, which do not meet AWD tire‑matching requirements and should never be installed together. Contrary to their claim in the advertisement, the condition of the vehicle I received did not reflect the level of inspection or refurbishing they said was performed on their higher‑end used cars -- especially disappointing after paying top dollar with no negotiation. To bring the vehicle up to the condition it was advertised in, I had to spend $1,227.34 out of pocket. I contacted the dealership with full documentation but received no response. The worst experience I've ever had. They basically tried to scam me, refusing to give me the second key because they lost it. When I followed up the next day, they told me to terminate the lease instead. It was clear they abandoned me as a customer simply because they couldn't take advantage of me. This dealership is extremely unprofessional. If they realize they can't manipulate you, they'll treat you poorly. The only redeeming thing about this dealership is that they offer a discount on oil changes if you have their license plate frame on the vehicle. Otherwise, go elsewhere. A transmission flush for a minivan is about $500, when at Valvoline it's about 189.99 plus tax. The last time I came for some recall work, I had to come back the same day bc the techs cracked the plastic cover that covers part of the engine bay. I had to take a screenshot of their walk-around inspection to prove that I didn't do it. I then had to come back another day so that they can put it in. The customer service was awful! Sales guy was amazing and kept us in loop, but sat and waited for financing for 2hrs and decided that was enough waiting. They definitely should get more help and get their customers in and out in a timely manner. The Civic I was interested in had been on the lot for well over a month and I also noticed on the carfax posted that it had a "Serious Collision" reported. Not enough to total it/make a salvage title obviously or they wouldn't be able to sell it. But I was not willing to pay the price they wanted with that issue. When I brought it up they said the price reflected that already or it would have been more. Also I had the potential of 2 different trade ins and they were only wanted to give me for BOTH less that I would have even accepted for one. Purchased a 2019 Accord Sport here the other day and I reported a Saftey issue with the suspension. John Durbin sent the vehicle to be serviced over at the reconditioning Center, Long story short, they provided documentation that there was no issue. Fast forward to when I pick the vehicle up. 24 hours later it was still making noise of course because they didn't fix the actual issue because they did not look for it. I drove the car into the service drive and talk to a service advisor named Jake. It was his last day as an advisor., he was nice enough to get in my car and go for a ride and he immediately heard the noise and he documented it on an appointment that he set for me the next morning at 7 AM. Upon arrival, I met with a service writer, named Tim Smith, super cool guy. He also requested to go for a ride with me because Jake no longer worked for the company. Tim also heard the noise when we went for the same test ride that the other guy went on with me. A little bit of time went by and Tim put me in the car with his master technician, he also heard the noise. The other two guys have already heard. 10 minutes after he pulled the car into the shop, he had photo and video evidence of what was making noise, as expected, it was a safety concern. The tie rods were bad. I suspect the used car manager told the reconditioning center to put that they did not hear any issue to prevent any funds from being paid to Fix said issue. Sidenote, The extra key fob that was provided to me, is not programmed to the vehicle, and they attempted to charge me to program them. Also, the night that I purchased the vehicle they could not provide documentation of the CVT fluid being changed, when I drained it at my shop, it only had 2 quarts of fluid in it, so it had not been reconditioned properly before the vehicle was sold to me. The car will be OK. It just needed a couple things at the end of the day. It's about doing what's right and John Durbin was very rude and unprofessional and hung up the phone multiple times on me. My sales rep. Rachael Williams was also uninterested in helping me resolve my issues with the new vehicle. If you were going to buy here, make sure that you exercise, caution and have your ducks in a row, I'm just thankful that I have a very strong, mechanical background. John Durbin told me it's normal for vehicles of my year 2019 to make noise when it drives.... As a licensed ASE technician this infuriated me. read more

Took the Ridgeline for a test drive and heard what sounded like the power steering pump, the sales guy asked the techs, they said the power steering was replaced. I went ahead and purchased the car, I got home to find power steering oil all over my driveway. I went to the gas station to put gas in the truck to bring it back to Lindsey gas drained out the bottom of the truck and all over the ground. Thought I'd be better off buying from an actual Honda dealership but I'm not so sure now. The salesman was nice, but I was there for almost 5 hours. That did include test driving two cars but I do think I waited a long time before I went it with financing. My car I purchased was detailed while I waited and when it came out of the detail shop the salesman said he'd like me to come back to get a full detail because he didn't like how it was detailed. Fast forward two weeks, I inconveniently drop my car off thinking they will have it for 2-3 hours. To my surprise, I get a text an hour later saying it's done. I go pick it up and drive it home. I check it out in the morning and I'm pretty sure they didn't even vacuum it out. There was still wax on the steering wheel, seat, and dash from the first detail. There's still wax all over the outside trim of the car. The whole entire dash was still dusty. I brought this to the salesman's attention, and I was told to drop it off for an entire morning. I told him that's not possible unless I get a loaner. He said I'll see what I can do and I haven't heard back from him in 2 weeks. Needless to say I won't be going back there and I won't recommended then to anyone either. Should of stuck with my gut and bought off of a friend that works at a different dealership. read more

Went in for a oil change, left with a new car. If you lease or own from Lindsay Honda they will eventually ask if you want to trade up to a new car after a few years. I don't know with owned but lease usually around two years. I didn't want to trade my blue car since I love the color and the hatchback is convenient when I used it twice but they had a sedan a little cheaper and saved me some money plus a month payment so I decided to go for it. I will miss the Aegean blue but the red is nice. My only complaint I didn't realize the LX hatchback comes with alloy rims while the sedan has hubcaps. read more

Buyer Beware. Service Manager, service technicians, customer service department, CNA extended warranty and Lindsay Service Department are not worth the stress you will deal with if something goes wrong with your car. Bought a Jeep Compass here in 2022. At the time of sale we were sold the CNA extended warranty. They tell you when you buy the CNA warranty that if you have a covered repair bring your car back to them because they have a disappearing deductible and you will not incur the $200 deductible fee. Sounds good, right? What they dont tell you is if something goes wrong with your vehicle that IS covered by CNA but WILL cost the Lindsay service department too much to fix they will not fix it and instead send you away with unfulfilled promises to deal with it on your own. February 2024 the vehicles stereo unit screen began pixelating and the screen eventually blacks out completely. This does not allow you to use the backup camera, radio, or climate controls. We brought the Jeep to Lindsay in 2/2/24 to have this defect repaired, the service manager stated that the needed repair IS covered by our CNA warranty. However, they choose not to perform the repair because a Jeep dealer would need to program the new unit once installed. The person in the Service Department stated it would not be worth it for them to perform the repair since it would cost Lindsay more to replace and program the new radio and Lindsay would not make any money but end up losing money. We only took it back to Lindsay Service due to the disappearing deductible that they sold us on. Once Lyndsay service told us they would not fix it and recommended taking it to the Jeep dealer, Lindsay stated they would release the CNA payment to the Jeep dealer and we would not incur the $200 deductible since Lindsay couldn't perform the work. My husband verified this statement to them a few times since we were concerned about incurring the $200 deductible and Lindsay confirmed we would not incur that fee. Our Jeep is currently at the Jeep dealer with the repairs completed since Friday afternoon. Lindsay has not called the Jeep dealer to release the CNA authorization, like they stated they would. We have been calling Lindsay since Friday afternoon and have left multiple messages for the Service Department with no response. The Jeep dealer is now required to hold our vehicle until they get a release from Lindsay. Its now Monday morning and we finally get in touch with Lindsay Service Department they now tell us we are responsible for the $200 deductible even though we brought a covered repair there (due to the disappearing deductible ) and Lindsay CHOSE not to perform the repair. Our experience with this business finds their communication is lacking and they sell you things that they do not stand behind. This is the 2nd car we bought from them, we will never buy from them again and will ensure we let our friends and families know of our experience so they don't make the same mistake we did. read more

The absolute worst car dealership I've ever purchased a car from. We walked in pre-approved from capital one and the car salesman kept pushing that their lenders could get us a better interest rate. So we agreed for them to run it through their top 5 lenders and IF they could beat the interest rate we walked in with, we would go through their lender, if not we would finance through capital one. We get back to sign the paperwork and we find out we're financing through another bank, my husband asks what the interest rate was and they stated the same rate we walked in with through capital one. We told them we were not financing with that bank and to run it through capital one like we told them in the beginning. So they did and capital one gave us an even lower rate. After that, the finance guy was mad and barely looked at us, barely talked to us, and just threw the papers around like a toddler throwing a fit. The salesman tells us he will be shipping us all weather mats to our house since they didn't have them in stock... just short of a year later and still haven't received them. Then we take our car to a different dealership for maintenance because they are closer. They tell us that the vehicle had after market seats installed and Honda won't cover the repair even though if it did have Honda seats, it would be covered under the factory warranty. We go to Lindsay Honda to see if they will try to make this situation right and once again we are completely disappointed. We ask for the store manager Reggie who sat on his butt and never came over to speak with us. He looked up our car and just sat over at the counter and didn't even has someone walk over to tell us that he was "busy" he just sat there and left us waiting. Then another new car sales manager comes over to "try to help us out" and we explain that no one ever disclosed the after market seats to us that voided the Honda warranty and we just wanted them to take a look and fix it since they didn't disclose it and it should be covered if it was an original Honda part the manager told us multiple times that "his guys should have been the ones to look at it not another dealership" and then told us there was nothing they could or would do to help us since it wasn't "Honda Certified" he said Reggie looked it up and since it wasn't Honda Certified he wasn't even going to talk to us. We never received an apology for the finance guys behavior, we never received the all weather mats we were told would be shipped to us, and never received the managers time to just talk to us. This dealership has been the WORST. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Hopefully they change management in the future and they actually start putting the customer before the dollar signs. The poor customer service I've received has made me want to trade my car in just so I never have to think about that place again. read more

If you don't watch, they will add things and not tell you things about what they are adding to your price of your car and then they blame you for not asking questions. I went in to purchase a new Honda and wanted a extended warranty and when walking out of there they had added $12,000 on top of the price of my car. I did recover 7600 of the 12,000 but the other 5000 they would not take off because they had already put a protection. On the car. The protection was put on before I even signed papers. They said that I okayed it with the salesman which I did not so just beware when purchasing a car from them I don't want anyone else to go through what I've gone through. read more

So I purchased a new 2023 Civic Sport in January. A couple weeks later as I prepared to do a highway drive I checked the oil and tires- all 4 tires were overinflated by 10 psi. I called Lindsay and expressed my surprise. But after I corrected the tire pressure to Honda's specs I noticed a huge problem with the steering. I had to fight the steering wheel just to go in a straight line. So doing the investigation online there is a huge amount of info on a problem with the steering rack as well as the electric power steering that was beginning with the 2022's and ongoing. So overinflated tires "lightened" the steering feel, hiding the problem. Honda is slowly rolling out recalls, but this is far beyond lemon law territory- three states have a class action and the NTSB is doing an investigation. The parts to fix this are termed "globally backordered" so no timely fix. Lindsay told me they would do nothing- take it to arbitration- which I will, but it's their DECEPTIVE business practice that attempted to hide the problem. So to see how widespread this is inquired at Lindsay and at another dealer to see if they'd admit to the problem- neither would until I asked them to do a search for "Honda Civic steering problem" then the sheepishly acknowledged its existence. The danger is in over- correcting as one muscles the wheel to control the car and I'm the oncoming winter driving will be very dangerous. So don't buy a Civic or for that matter an HRV ( it's built on the Civic platform ) and DONT BUY FROM LINDSAY. read more

It's certainly a huge Honda dealer in town, and they have injected new life into their Brice Road neighborhood. However there are serious concerns about finding a car with this dealer. When we bought my wife's used Accord, the cars they focused us on originally had all been in accidents (some severe) which was downplayed by the salesperson. We ended up going with a slightly older model that had been previously used as a rental vehicle. Looking for a brand new car was an infuriating process. They had no interest in working with us. So a friend of mine went in to have a recall repair done on his Honda. The repair was free, which by dealer standards and manufacturers standards should have been free. They charged him $90 for an overall inspection of the tires, the fluids, and all that. Lindsay really ripped him off. Those services were not needed or necessary. That was Lindsey's way around the free repair to still make money on the customer. Very, very poor customer service. Shows Lindsay Honda's greedy and only concerned with the bottom line and only making money and screwing their customers. And then adding insult to injury, he had to retrieve his car from the overflow lot after the service was done instead of them bringing the car to him like pretty much all other dealers do. That required him to have to walk a ways to get his car. Overall, a horrible experience from Lindsay Honda. I would stay away from them. They're not customer friendly, they're not customer worthy, and based on that recall repair that should have been free, they screwed him on that as well.
