They replaced my hinges, fixed the placement of some of the parts that were out of place and keeping motherboard exposed, and created a fill for the parts that had broken off. Opens and shuts extremely smoothly, I almost forget how janky it was just a month ago. Works great, and was absolutely worth the price they charged, which was extremely reasonable, especially if I can get another 5+ years out of this laptop!

The hard drive was failing and an IT tech recommended having it "imaged," which would result in an exact duplicate that would not require any software reauthentication. He also recommended Tech Care as the folks to do it. They initially tried doing an automatic imaging, which didn't take, so they attempted to manually image it and were successful. The computer now has a more reliable SSD drive (no moving parts) and it indeed works exactly as it used to (only faster). After several months of ignoring the "Battery service needed" warning, my laptop (2019 Macbook Pro)…read moredied, as it wouldn't take power anymore when plugged in. Vess diagnosed the issue on the spot (he must have seen a lot of similar problems) and fixed it in less than a day. The price was reasonable and he also recommended cleaning the inside as it accumulated dust (see photo), which explained the overheating issues I had to deal with frequently with the laptop. The cost of repair was reasonable and he also offered several pieces of advice to prevent similar issues in the future. I am very happy with the service and would recommend working with them for any Mac laptop repair.
