The labor rate was fair, the communication was clear, and instead of pushing one expensive path, Danny took the time to explain different options for replacement parts and what made sense financially. I live in Woodland Hills, and Sharp's is in Oxnard, so this was not exactly around the corner for me. But after that first experience, I felt comfortable enough making the trip because it already felt worth it. After that, I came back with my own 2016 Chevy Volt for an A/C issue. Since that car does not have a traditional belt-driven compressor setup, I knew it was going to take more than generic trial-and-error diagnosis. Danny was patient, methodical, and clearly willing to think through a problem instead of just throwing parts at it. The issue ended up getting solved efficiently, which was a huge relief. One other thing that really stuck with me while I was there: multiple people from the neighborhood stopped by just to say hello to the team at Sharp's. That kind of thing says a lot. Floyd, however, is very rude and condescending. 6 months after my radiator was replaced, the new one started leaking. I called and spoke to Floyd, who stated that if the radiator is the issue, they would replace it under warranty. Three times I brought my care here, and the first two times he said it's not the radiator. So those first two times he charged me a diagnostic fee. This being my only car, I had to pay Uber fees to get it there, and get back. On top of the diagnostic charges. The first time he told me it was the water pump and tried to charge me $900. I bought it for $100 on rockauto.com and replaced it, and still had a coolant leak, so it wasn't the water pump. I took it back to him and he told me it's the coolant hose and charged me yet another diagnostic fee. I let him replace it, and it was still leaking coolant. I took it to him a third time and he said it is the radiator and replaced it for free. Or at least he says they replaced it. Once I got it back, I now have an oil leak that I didn't have before, and it still leaks coolant! The only reason I am not suing him is because I decided to get a new car. So he charged me two diagnostic fees when I was right the first time, and I had to pay Uber fees every single time I brought it here. Two Uber charges to get it there, two Uber charges back, three times. And that is on top of his incorrect diagnostic fees. And now I have a car that still leaks coolant, but also now leaks oil. I say it again, do not bring your car here!

That discrepancy raises an obvious question: how does a car go from allegedly needing suspension repairs at one shop to having a clean bill of health from a Toyota dealership? The GR86 is not your average commuter car, and its suspension setup is more specialized than what many general repair shops work with daily. In my case, the car is also not driven hard or abused. It's used normally, with no track use, no canyon driving habits, and no aggressive treatment that would reasonably point toward premature suspension wear. It's also worth noting that summer performance tires naturally wear faster than standard all-season tires, and can sometimes show uneven wear patterns due to the factory negative camber built into the suspension geometry. That alone is not necessarily an indicator of a mechanical issue. I had no idea where to take my car on such short notice, but I called them and they told me to bring it in so they could take a look. The next morning Scott called me and explained what needed to be done. I gave them the okay, and my car was ready just a few hours later. I also looked around and got a few quotes from other shops just to see if the price was fair, and Williams Automotive ended up being the best price by far. They also let me know my transmission fluid was really dark, which honestly wasn't surprising since I had never changed it. I came back for that service and an oil change, and once again everything was done quickly and for a really good price. Everyone I've dealt with there has been friendly and helpful. The lady in the office is also super nice, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I'm really happy with the service, price, turnaround time, and customer service. I usually take my cars to bigger chain shops, but after coming here, I'd much rather keep bringing them to Williams Automotive.

Dropped off my car on a Monday and get a call on Tuesday saying they figured out the problem. Said it was electrical but didn't really explain what was wrong with it and quoted me $680. Told them I couldn't do that price and he says it usually cost $800 anywhere else. I tell him that I'd be picking up the car soon. Take an uber to the shop to pick the car up and they are closed for an hour on lunch. Fine, I wait around since I do not want to waste more money on uber. When the mechanic finally arrives after lunch I ask him what exactly is wrong with the car. He proceeds to vaguely tell me the car is old and that the wiring is messed up and it keeps blowing the fuse. I then ask him if he did in fact change the fuse, said he did. I take the car to auto zone and find the blown fuse and replace it. Solved the problem, no more issues, hasn't blown the fuse since. SO THIS SHOP TRIED TO CHARGE ME $680 FOR A BLOWN FUSE. For those of you who know nothing about cars, please get a second opinion or do some research online before paying these people.
