J Day sold me a Whirlpool microwave 3/29/22. From the moment it was installed, there were problem with the control board - it displayed gibberish and would not allow the unit to be programmed. a J Day repairman came out and got it working. A couple of weeks ago, it started doing the same thing - no display or just gibberish. A repairman came again and got it working. But, it happened again today, and now they are saying all I can do is buy a replacemen - this one is obviously defective and has been from the start. it is less than 2 years old, but their only solution is for me to buy a new one. Jaylissa and Brittney R I think your reviews are false. You both live in. New York so what gives? I on the other hand went to J Day's Appliance Today and got really great service. I needed a part for my dryer that stopped heating. Kathy had the part I stock and she saved me money by suggesting I could fix it on my one. She even offered for me to bring in the old part so she could test it before I bought the new part. As suspected it was the part and I was able to install the new one with no problems. We spoke with the owner, Jim, about what our options were and he immediately addressed the problem and sent Chris back the very next day to service our dryer again. My husband and I were shopping for a new washer and dryer. We were hoping to do business with a small local company. We went to JDay Appliance in Loveland, CO on 7th Street. The company was recommended to us and we had previously used their services for repair work on the appliances in our home. That day we bought a Speed Queen washer and a dryer from them. We were informed that our delivery and installation fees would be waived since there could be no negotiation regarding the price of Speed Queen appliances. We gave them our check and the items were ordered. HOWEVER, when we arrived home we received a call from the salesperson who had assisted us stating the business would not honor the deal!!!!! I returned to the store, asked for my check to be returned and I promptly cancelled the order. I believe that the company should have honored their original agreement. I told them it was a very poor way to do business and that I would never do business with them again and that I would encourage others not to as well. Again, I strongly recommend that you choose another business when shopping for appliances. read more

Well after my original review the repair this place did didn't last a month. They returned and told me another part had caused the original one they replaced to fail again. I was originally warned by the guy this may happen as he said there was only about a 20% chance of the other part causing the original problem he fixed. Since my dishwasher is 8 years old I feel like they should have been more upfront and simply told me not to risk the repair attempt and just buy a new one. Now I am out money for the original repair and have to get a new dishwasher. Sorry but in my opinion this is unacceptable. Would hesitate to call them in the future again for anything else. read more

J Day's Appliance came out to diagnose a dryer timer problem. A different service company had come out and had done a very unsatisfactory job of diagnosing and solving the problem. So I called J Day's to come out and take a look. It's a good thing I did because after pulling apart the appliance and doing some significant digging around, they determined that not only was the timer bad but the wiring was messed up from a past repair to the point of being a fire hazard. Instead of trying to get me to approve further repairs which would have been quite costly, they instead recommended in replacing the machine. They are honest and reasonably priced. Kathy is very knowledgeable about appliances and she is very helpful in ensuring that the job gets done and done well. I highly recommend them. read more

They took the time to patiently answer our questions and are open about the pros and cons of different brands and models. Prices are competitive, and learned why the big box stores have lower prices (similar appearing models made just for them, but missing non-obvious features such as separate refrigerator and freezer compressors). read more

When we bought our house the washer and dryer turned out to be broken and leaking. I called J Day's and they were able to come out and make all repairs that ultimately saved me hundreds instead of buying new. They were fairly difficult to get scheduled though because they are so busy. read more

When your old trusty appliance finally breaks down DO NOT think that Home Depot or Lowes is your best Business to shop. J. Days Appliance has you covered. The big Box retailers often use outside installers that take a while to set you up. I was able to buy the same product from from J. Days and have it installed the next day If I wanted. This the Factory Service Center that is responsible for Warranty repair for the Manufacturers. If they trust J. Days then you can too. Justin the installer was knowledgeable, quick, clean and a complete gentleman. A few dollars difference for impeccable and reliable service is always worth it. Thank you J. Days and I will return but hopefully only after a while when the next appliance breaks and a new one is needed to be installed. read more

J Day's Appliance has cemented a reputation as the stereotypical repair company. In short, two visits were made to my residence by the same repair technician to replace a broken belt in my dryer. The dryer was purchased from J Day's store originally, thus the immediate connection for repair. After the second attempt at repair, the dryer was left unattached from the ventilation to the exterior of the house, therefore leaving the dryer to omit large amounts of moisture into the house. With a third phone call to J Day's I was told, "We will try to work you into the schedule." That is unacceptable. Prompt payment was made upon the first visit, in turn prompt second and third repairs should be made if the first was faulty. I would highly recommend taking all repair business elsewhere. Be prepared for two hour technician arrival windows as well as a phone call in the A.M. of the day of repairs to tell the customer wheat the appointment will be in the A.M. or the P.M. I'm fairly certain customer service is not the expertise of this repair company. Very disappointing experience. read more

I recently contacted this store about a noisy dryer in our house. The lady that answered the phone (Kathy) was very friendly and knowledgeable and spent over 10 minutes with me on the phone. I explained the noise to her and she said she'd have a technician call me the next day. Sure enough, he called early the next day and said my symptoms sounded like the motor was going out and the repair bill would be $375 for them to do the work. Since our dryer is 13+ years old he said I might want to think about buying a new one instead of repairing our current one. The reason I'm telling this story is I feel that they are an honest business. They could have easily said they'd come out and diagnose the problem and handed me a $100+ bill for doing that, but instead chose to save me that money so I could put it towards a new dryer. It doesn't get much better than that in this greedy world we live in. I salute them for being honest people! read more

I had a ton of questions and they had all the answers. Not pushy at all (which I can't stand from those bigger appliance stores) and let me move at my own pace. We have bought several things over the years from J Day's and have been very satisfied. Last week they went above and beyond. My mom has to do laundry every day for her ailing husband and her 30+ year-old washing machine was dying. I called J Day's on a Thursday and ordered a Speed Queen washer and explained if they could install it soon due to my mom's situation, that would be very helpful. Kathy then called me back and offered me a floor model with a slight cosmetic dent at a discount. They also offered that my mom could pay with a check at the time of installation, no money needed up front! Their installer, Isaac, then installed it the next day. He was very nice, very professional, and quick. The whole thing took less than 24 hours from initial phone call, to washer installation. I am beyond satisfied with J Day's! read more
