The estimate was thorough and had a complete breakdown of costs and steps needed to refinish the bathtub. I received another quote that was $200 more expensive. They were flexible with dates and availability. Alex was the repairman and worked tirelessly for 5 hours to strip and refinish my bathtub. I honestly didn't know it was going to take so long (but it makes sense), so that was probably the only thing that would be nice to know ahead of time (how long it takes). Plus Alex had to come back the next day, to recaulk the bathtub. These are probably standard things, but I didn't know about the process, so was a little taken aback. Good thing I was free the next day too. The repair seems to be done well and I am hoping it will hold up over time. I believe they have a 5 year residential warranty too, which seems pretty good. Overall I would definitely recommend Bathtub Made New for bathtub refinishing.

They were also the only ones who planned to install a base of stone, and used rebar in the poured concrete. If/when we figure out what exactly we're doing for a back patio (they did do a smaller one for us in addition to a long, front walk) they are the only ones we will be calling.
