John and Garrison are amazing at what they do, these guys are not contractors, they are skilled craftsmen. The quality is top notch, these guys did a higher level of quality than the other company I hired to do interior remodeling. John was very personable and asked all the right questions when he did the estimate. He explained the entire process, not just a "I'll send you an estimate", he actually took the time to explain the entire installation and materials used, textures and what demo would need to be done. No gimmicks, no up selling, he was straight with us and that is appreciated to no end. Cost was comparable to the other companies we received quotes from. He was able to squeeze us in the next week as walls were opened and there was concern of water intrusion with demoed stucco If it rained. He and son showed up on time, with all the tools, materials and equipment they would probably need for the next 5 jobs. No running to Home Depot here for hours at a time. Guys worked fast and efficiently. There was no running about wasting time like some other contractors like to do to kill time. This appears to be a family owned business and it shows. i didn't even have to ask them to tape and cover, first thing they did -prepped the windows with plastic, taped everything up and rolled out heavy duty ram type paper along perimeter of the house. they Left the area they worked in cleaner than it was! Quality was amazing, they do not cut corners, based on what I saw everything was done to code and very professionally. these guys have a system they follow and they did not miss even one spot of damage on the house, they demoed, installed wire framing where needed, pained bonding agent on, did the stucco coats and texture. once it's painted you won't be able to see where new stucco begins and ends. In total they did stucco around 4 windows and repaired failing stucco on 2 sides of the house. I must admit the rounded corners they did from rood to ground on the front bay windows are mesmerizing, they are so even and uniform that it looks like a computer rendering, You can tell these guys are professionals at what they do. J. Floyd came to my house as a sub from my heating and air job that required removing my old in wall AC unit, so I needed a patch inside with the drywall and outside with the stucco. He was early, informative, and most importantly did great work. I can say from my personal experience that patch jobs are the toughest to get right. Anyone can do solid edge to edge work, but anyone that has tried themselves or hired lesser skilled people, patch works can seriously stand out if done incorrectly. We had a leak in our kitchen drain, and the plumber had to remove stucco from the exterior wall to repair it. We also had some stucco flaking off a garden wall. I looked on Yelp for stucco repair, and saw that this company had solid 5 star reviews. I contacted them (and a couple of other companies), and sent photos of the stucco issues. All three replied quickly, but John was especially quick to answer some questions that I had. All three gave me similar quotes, but I decided to go with John. He couldn't do the work for a couple of weeks because he was busy (which I took as a good sign). Today, he showed up right on time, at 730AM, with his son. The garden wall work was a bit more extensive than the photos had shown (to be clear, I pointed this out to John as soon as he arrived - it was NOT bait & switch on his part) and I told him that I understood that he'd probably have to charge me a bit more than quoted for that part of the work. The two of them both worked solidly for 3.5 hours. The end results look terrific. The additional charge for the garden wall was perfectly reasonable, we were happy to pay it. They did a perfect cleanup - no dust, no other stuff left behind. I hope not to have stucco problems in the future but, if I do, I'll know whom to call. read more
