When we looked at what they did for the neighbor, the texture and color matching was so good that we couldn't tell the difference between the original stucco and the repaired stucco. I would post less than one star if possible. This was an expensive job and I suspect that Mr. Ojeda used a very cheap color coat. Color coat is supposed to last 15 years not ten days! He now wants to send another bid to put up scaffolding again and waterproof his color coat. The scratch coat and brown coat both were given 3 weeks each to cure before the final coat was applied. Marcus aka "Stucco Man" is the best there is! I refurbish homes and I have had a lot of good stucco jobs, but none as beautiful and professionally done as Marcus can produce. The house he just completed for me is a 1914 mission revival. He had to get rid of the old extremely pitted and uneven stucco finish and apply a smooth Santa Barbara finish. Most bids I received stated that a Santa Barbara finish is difficult to get even, require more prep and more time, therefore a lot more expensive, but not Marcus. He did not hesitate and the price was quoted fairly and did not exceed the price of any other finish. He truly is a master and brings with him the hardest workers with just the right talent that is needed for the area they are working on. Marcus and his workers are so pleasant to have at your house, thoughtful, clean and respectful. I can't stress enough how important it is to have a crew that is clean on a stucco job. Being that Marcus was working with me on my house during this time I need to say that everyone should take her words with a grain of salt. In 2014 after we reviewed several bids, we hired Stucco Maestro to handle the stucco work for a significant remodel of our home. We removed a portion of our roof to increase the volume of our family room space going up about 16' with a new structure. To retain the exterior continuity of our existing house, we wanted stucco for the finish of our remodel. Because we were moving the house to a more modern look, we chose a 30/30 extra fine sand finish. To say the least, Stucco Maestro, led by owner Marcus Ojeda, delivered exceptional results. The Stucco Maestro team performed impeccably in every area - job preparation, work flow, attention to detail, craftsmanship and site clean-up. We had high expectations for the quality of the their work and they certainly lived up to their billing as "top of the line every time."
