The entire project was completed quickly, efficiently, and professionally, without sacrificing quality. Their communication was outstanding from beginning to end. Everyone--from the office staff and project managers to the crew working on the roof--was attentive, responsive, and accommodating to our needs. They kept us informed throughout the process and made sure everything went smoothly. The completed roof passed inspection with the City of Monterey Park, and I am extremely pleased with both the workmanship and the overall experience. So Cal Roofing is an excellent company, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.

The pricing was very competitive, and the speed in which they communicate is so nice. Installation was quick and painless. But really what stands out is all the little things they did. Before they started, they took a lot of care to cover things around the house and the garage. Our project manager Mike was so communicative during the process. After they were finished they cleaned up as if they were never here. And there are a bunch of little details like matching the paint on both sides of fascia that was replaced, or matching color around our chimney to the new roof color really set things apart for me. I would highly recommend working with SoCal Roofing.

Glad I went with ASR. Throughout the whole process, I was impressed by Bryan's Professionalism,…read moreresponsiveness, and technical knowledge of details as he had 10+ years of roofing experience and now handles sales for the family business, which gave me a lot of confidence during the project. Importantly, there is no subcontracting unlike some other roofing companies which stated their use in fine print. The entire crew worked seamlessly work together in unison to finish my whole reroofing in 3 days. I was initially skeptical since others stated 5+ days, but I could see how organized and efficient the team was. Since roofing is expensive and stressful, I made sure to get four other competitive quotes from other roofers. The price from ASR came out the best with the same specs, but I would still have went with ASR even if they were more expensive, just because of the trust I had in Bryan. Throughout, I got to meet Bryan's father, Frank who has 30 years of roofing experience and was accommodating to my needs such as when I requested protection of my garden during tear-off. I also met Bryans brother Steven during the shingle installation, which reinforced the sense that this was a family business that genuinely cares about the quality of their work. Finally, after the installation was finished, the team still cared very much about passing inspection for permitting and to ensure their reputation is upheld. Even after payment was completed, they continued providing follow-up support when needed, which gave me additional assurances in their commitment to quality. I highly recommend All Service Roofing (ASR).

I'm pretty sure doing half the attic defeats the purpose of it feel like I paid for nothing and it wasn't cheap either so I'd say in the future if you're gonna have them install insulation, make sure you check their work

The owner, Jeremy Lara, was the only contractor who recognized two significant problems on my roof that required added work. Jeremy and his entire crew were a delight to work with. I especially appreciated his time, patience, and conscientious consideration of all my requests for protecting my home, both inside and out. The protection his crew provided for my professionally landscaped gardens and hardscape areas was beyond what other companies were willing to do. During the entire week-long process, Jeremy was prompt in returning my calls, answering my questions, and accommodating my added requests. He exceeded my expectations while remaining competitively priced. Considering the additional care, protection, and service included, I felt I received exceptional value compared with the other bids. I only wish every business could be run as efficiently while being so considerate of its clients' needs and remaining competitively priced. My roof came out beautiful, and my property stayed just as beautiful. I highly recommend Jeremy Lara of Baja Roofing.

At the start, communication was excellent. They responded to calls, texts, and emails promptly. I initially worked with Chris, and once the project began, I was transitioned to Greg. Scheduling took some time due to heavy rain earlier in the year, but once we were on the calendar, they got to work quickly. We chose to invest in top-of-the-line materials because we see our home as a long-term investment in a highly desirable area. During the installation, we anticipated there might be additional costs once the existing roof was removed. When issues were discovered, the team communicated promptly, which I appreciated. However, toward the end of the project, communication became more difficult. I had trouble reaching Chris, Greg, and the owner, and felt like I had to follow up multiple times to get clear answers. One situation that felt uncomfortable was when a prospective client came to our home after being told by Chris that our roof had recently been completed by Baja Roofing. While I understand wanting to showcase their work, it was concerning to have a stranger come to our house(especially because I have a small child) without any prior notice. A heads-up would have been appreciated. Additionally, there were a few instances where incorrect invoices were sent to me. Given the size of this investment, that made me uneasy, as I wanted to ensure everything was accurately documented, including the upgrades we paid for. I also raised a few concerns via email that I felt were somewhat dismissed toward the end of the project. Overall, while the work itself met expectations and started off with strong communication, the lack of consistency toward the end made the experience a little more stressful.

Of the 3 proposal received De Lorenzo's proposal was the lowest. Working with Joseph was great. Very honest, knowledgable and prompt with every step of the job. I highly recommend DeLorenzo's services !

PLEASE DONT FOLLOW MY MISTAKES…read more I hired Joseph in February 2025 for a full roof replacement. While he initially came across as genuine, personable, and competitively priced, his lack of competence, integrity, and professionalism surfaced almost immediately. In reality, Joseph operates as a solo middleman who subs out the entire job to third-party crews. --- Upcharges & Shady Payment Requests --- The problems started on day one of demo. Even though the roof was only a single layer of shingles, the tear-off took a few extra hours due to adhesive on the substrate--something he had the opportunity to inspect beforehand. Rather than owning field conditions, he dumped the extra cost on me. When I tried to meet him halfway and split the difference, he threw a fit and refused. On top of that, he pleaded with me to pay his demo sub directly in cash to "help him out." In hindsight, having the homeowner pay his sub directly was a massive red flag regarding his cash flow and business practices. --- Fighting the Contract & Playing the Martyr --- Joseph fought me on clear terms throughout the build and resented basic accountability: Fascia Boards: The contract explicitly stated replacement fascia boards would be primed, but he pushed back with heavy resistance and grumbling when asked to do it. Quality Control: When his crew installed a visibly cracked fascia board, asking him to replace it was treated like an impossible chore. Basic Code Compliance as "Favors": Whenever he was caught missing something standard--like the low pitch of my roof actually requiring two layers of underlayment felt instead of one by code--he acted like fixing his own oversight was doing me the biggest personal favor in the world. Ego Over Accountability: Any time I held him to the contract or questioned his workmanship, his go-to condescending response was: "Are you the roofer or am I the roofer? Who has 30 years of roofing experience?" --- Scare Tactics to Dodge Inspections --- For an attached carport flat roof replacement, he used scare tactics to talk me out of calling for a final city inspection. He claimed the carport might not be permitted and warned it could lead to fines or being forced to tear it down--an obvious attempt to prevent an inspector from checking his work. --- Leaks, Excuses, & Cut Corners --- The ULTIMATE failure was that the brand-new roof leaked around a replaced skylight, damaging the drywall on my ceiling. Dealing with him on warranty repairs was a nightmare: Laughable Excuses: Instead of properly inspecting the flashing, he made absurd claims like "dirt and dust can make a roof leak", blamed mystery people walking on the roof and the directional wind of recent rain events. (laughing out loud as I write this) Band-Aid "Fixes": He insisted the installation was fine and tried to just smear a bead of caulk on top of the shingles. Anyone knows exposed surface caulk is a lazy band-aid, not a watertight repair the solves the underlying issues of a poor install. Evading Responsibility: He actually tried to bargain his way out of repairs, asking: "If I fix the skylight, will you take care of the drywall damage inside?" Shorting Materials: After I refused his surface caulk fix, he finally brought a roofer back out to pull up the shingles and fix the flashing underneath. Talking directly with the crew made it clear what happened: Joseph had shorted them on materials from the start to pad his own profits. --- WARNING --- Do not fall for the friendly sales pitch or the low bid (not that he was a screaming deal). Working with Joseph was an emotional rollercoaster and brought nothing but ongoing stress for me, my wife, and young children. Joseph brought constant pushback on contract terms, cut corners on scope, treated basic compliance like charity, and took zero ownership when his work failed. Find a legitimate, professional roofer instead. I've attached photos as proof of some (not all) of our unfortunate dealings
