Had a problem with the alarm, found out it wasn't working as we canceled phone service a long time ago. No understanding for our families safety concern nor the amount of payments we've made in the meantime, Just told......This is why we ask customers to test their alarm monthly. Not how you treat a customer after so many years! We are switching service, sad they cant retain long time customers. Definitely would not recommend.

I called NorthStar, my security company, to see if they'd ever heard of these guys and they told me that "reputable firms don't go door to door." That reminded me that I was overdue for writing them a review. My husband and I (well, my husband mostly), interviewed four or five firms before selecting this one. Their installers are also their sales guys. In other words, these are people who know their stuff. Nobody tried to sell us something we didn't need. The guy who came out - and followed us through some installation difficulties (way our house was built, not NorthStar's fault) - his name is Gary. He is friendly and SUPER knowledgeable. He explained things and then explained them again and gave my engineer-husband all the detail he wanted. But when I had a question and DIDN'T want the detail - he boiled it down for me. Their pricing was similar to other firms we talked with. Pay for the equipment and have lower monthly monitoring, or do a 3-yr contract with higher monthly monitoring and lower/no equipment costs. They give you several options to work with your budget. Bottom line is, they weren't significantly higher or lower than anybody else. We had our first "false alarm" the other day. Our nanny accidentally set off the alarm and while she was punching the code in downstairs, my husband was also punching it in on the keypad upstairs, which cancelled the whole thing. Kinda funny actually. The monitoring service called us WITHIN TWO MINUTES. I was glad to know they were on the ball just in case we need them for real some day. In the end, we went with this firm because they were the most knowledgeable, didn't have pushy sales people, so we felt confident we were getting the info we needed to make a good decision. Turned out to be a very good decision!

The Owner M. seems like a kind, pleasant and well spoken young man. We purchased our equipment at thousands of dollars from him. For almost 3 years I have been on auto pay for them to secure and monitor these 2 properties. Our home was robbed and we were not even notified! His security system never alerted us or him. We had to call him while the police were there doing a police report. We experience faulty equipment repetitively. Door alarms, window alarms and cameras not recording or blacking out. I kept the faith until I realized that he was mistaking my kindness for weakness. He will tell you he will take care of problems. We always had to continually call every 2 weeks to remind him. He never keeps appointments. He will give you every excuse why he was not prepared or why he could not accomplish and tell us he will reschedule. I called him 3 months ago to install a camera. He never showed but kept assuring us he would. This guy is not trustworthy. You are hearing this from a God fearing individual that loves people. I don't ever want anyone to experience the dishonesty that my wife and I have experienced for almost 3 years. I called my brother who also used him from my referral in the beginning and asked about his experience. He has been waiting 2 months for an upgrade due to a reschedule appointment because once again his faulty equipment quit working within a year. Same experience. !Beware of this company.
