Took my Suburban to Pep Boys, spent $1000 on brake repairs, still had the original ABS problem…read more Took it back, another $500 and now it was worse. A brake line they fabricated blew and almost caused an accident when the pedal went to the floor so I had it towed back there. They wanted to charge for the tow until I reminded them it was warranty ahd a liability issue. They fixed the line and said it would be another $750 IF they could find the part. I told them to forget it, bought a rebuilt part on the internet and took it to Ronnie. He replaced the other wheel hub that Pep Boys said was fine after they replaced the speed sensor TWICE and put the module on that I ordered. Articles all over the internet, DON'T replace the wheel speed sensors, replace the whole hub if you want it to work! After Ronnie was done with it, no brake light, no ABS light, no sickening feeling when the ABS kicks on inappropriately on hard dry pavement and kills the brakes unexpectedly. Ronnie has my business for life!!!

So it was with me. I'm in South Jersey and so initially I sent photos of my luxury car's dent to two of the most highly-rated repairers in my area; one called The Dent Guy who responded, "Unfortunately this damage is severe dent and needs to have a bodyshop repair. It's to wavy and jagged to make it right. Sorry It happened nand I can't be of more help" [sic]; and the other was Caliber Collision who emailed a quote of $3600+. Hmmm. I was about to take it to the dealer but instead I tried one other highly rated repairer who was based across the river in Wilmington, Delaware -- Mario Dent Removal. I recall reading a review left by one of his former customers that said something to the effect that Mario was a "horse whisperer" of sorts for these kinds of car body issues. That left an impression. You probably know where this review is headed. Yeah. As I found out, Mario's reputation as a "car dent repair whisperer" is deserved. He traveled to my home and repaired the dent on the spot. What he initially thought would take 5-6 hours he was able to iron out in less than two at a fraction of the cost (and I do mean a fraction) of the Caliber Collision estimate; and much less than my insurance deductible. So I saved money and the hassle and time lost that would have occurred had I taken it to the dealer or to a local collision shop. Mario's repair is indistinguishable from new. I discovered that Mario, who learned his trade at multiple dealers/body shops for well over a decade and a half, has worked wonders on just about every auto that has hit the streets including some of the most uber expensive vehicles that most folks dream of driving but never own. For me, finding a skilled craftsman like Mario is like finding a tailor who can turn a decent suit into something that makes you look like you stepped off a James Bond set as the star.
