I needed my catalytic converter replaced, my headlight fixed, my rear light fixed and my brake light fixed. They fixed the CC in under 3 hours, and the lights except for the hatchback brake lite. They made an effort to call around to find the brake light bulb. And found me one 5 minutes away!!! And that place, SAL'S AUTO REPAIR, started fixing the brake light BEFORE I REALIZED IT!!! Very fair prices. I hit a pot hole and it damaged my muffler. They did the repair for much less than I expected. I also had to get my rear drums replaced and since they didn't beat me up on the exhaust repair, I had them do those as well, which they were very fair with that repair as well read more

My car exhaust pipe was bent in two different places and also everytime I drove you will hear it rattle. I needed to find a muffler shop and did some research. LUCKILY i found Midway Muffler which had the best reviews. I called yesterday, made an appointment next day they got me in and fixed my car less than 1 hr. If you own an older Mercedes with exhaust issues Midway is a must! My local Indy Mercedes shop wanted to charge me 3k for basically a new exhaust, with parts shipped from Germany. Midway was able to repair my existing exhaust with a cost in the hundreds, not thousands. My car no longer misfires or sounds like its choking on a tin can. read more

Midway muffler shop has a good reputation. I was recommended to go there to seek exhaust work by a coworker. I went there and was immediately helped which was nice. However, I brought $1200 worth of exhaust parts in a box which the owner (I'm assuming) kept on the lift when he lifted my vehicle up. This guy literally took the box off the lift (about 6' off the ground) and dropped it to the ground right in front of me! I was shocked by how little he cared to treat the product I brought to get installed. Like I said, the exhaust parts I brought in were Kooks. Kooks is a top dollar exhaust brand. I was so frustrated I just had him lower my vehicle and I left. Just another sketchy, care-free auto shop. read more

Come here if you want to get ripped off. This place is a complete circus and the employees are clowns. The douche bags have major attitudes for some reason, like me bringing my business to them was annoying them. Final bill was WAY higher then the quote that was given. Went there with my car and some exhaust pipe from another car that I knew would fit on mine and knew it could be done. First thing the guy said was nope can't happen, its too wide to fit the exit in the bumper, not true. Went on to say that it was also too long, not true. etc etc. quoted me $280-$350 for roughly 2 - 3ft of pipe and welds. wasn't going to pay that. Went to scotties muffler in middletown and the tech there actually measured the width of the two pipes and the exit only to find that it would fit just fine and it wasnt too long. said he would make a Y pipe to join the 2 into a 1 and quoted me about 2hrs (all the employees at the desk assured it would be way less than 2 hours) of labor and a foot of pipe, $200 to get the whole thing done. much better. just a fair warning, other people will get the same job done for much less. read more

Great service! Another shop wanted $1400.00 to replace my whole exhaust system. The young gentleman at Midway hoisted my car up and said he could patch it up for $140.00. I went to Casapullas and placed an order to go. By the time I got back to the shop my car was done! (roughly 30 min) It now rides so smooth with no rattling and no exhaust smell in the car. Midway is the best! Feeling rather disenchanted from taking my car to 2 different shops to get my exhaust repaired, waiting over 4 hours to be told they couldn't get the parts on Saturday (needed the entire exhaust, including catalytic converter), I posted my woes on facebook. Within a few hours 2 friends who didn't know each other told me to take my car to Midway. So I called, talked with Butch- great guy- who told me to bring my car in. I took my car in, was out of there in under 1 hour!!!..... and no, I didn't need to replace the catalytic converter, just 2 pipes! Thanks Butch, you saved me a ton of money and restored my faith in honest repair shops. read more

on august forth they installed a new catalytic converter on my car. when it was done I was told the resonator had a large hole in it. when I came in it did not, I was given a price to replace it. My mechanic double checked the resonator, it either accidentally or purposely, the young man who worked on my car made this hole, The converter is ok but I am disappointed with having a noisy car because of the new hole resonator and needing an additional repair. read more

They tried selling me a downstream catalytic converter claiming that it was required on my federal emissions 97 Altima. I guess they don't know how to read their own catalog as the letters N.R. were listed next to the federal exhaust pipe...hey guys, N.R. means NOT REQUIRED! I'll find someone who knows what they are talking about. read more
