Dropped off my Legacy and my wife's Rogue this week for an oil change and some work on her SUV. The owner Ken gave me a reasonable quote and Nate and Jimbo were able to get the work done quickly and right. I didn't have to wait long and both vehicles have been driving smoothly. Ken may appear to be rude but it's the personality of a mechanic so I expected it. He's actually a nice guy just sarcastic. I drove I to Philky this morning and part way here I started to hear a knocking noise in the front driver side wheel area I called JKK and they were nice enough to have me bring the car in to make sure whether it was safe to drive or not The mechanic ( who was actually up from Florida) and I took t ride around the block We were not going long and he said it sounded like the wheel was loose We got back to the shop and lo and behold, lug nuts on 2 tires were loose They tightened them up and off I went It was really special they took the time out of their busy schedule to help me out read more

All of the staff takes their time to help you understand what is wrong with you car and breakdown of the pricing. Shop owner Ken made time to explain things when I had questions, even though I could see him running around the store and taking calls to help his staff. Shoutout to Carlos for his help as well! My car has been serviced a few times at this establishment. The last time I took my car there for a tune up the hose to my breaks was accidentally dislodged. I was almost killed because my car was difficult to stop. I took it back the next day and they discovered their mistake. I barely got an apology. I took it today for an inspection and was told the car would be ready by 12 noon. I called at 2pm to check on the status of my car. Kenny the owner answered the phone and he began to tell me why the car would not pass inspection. I asked him if someone was going to call me and inform me so I would know how much it was and when I could expect the work to be done. He became very rude and started yelling at me. All I was trying to do is get clarification. He invited me to come get my car, so I did. After these 2 negative experiences and them endangering my life I would not recommend this establishment. read more

Nate was very helpful. KEN the owner was a complete ***hole with poor customer service skills. He wouldn't make eye contact with me and wouldn't talk directly towards me. I was doing a favor for my friend by exchanging a part for her while she was busy....and when I came to pick it up KEN was very nonchalant and very unhelpful! Kin runs a reputable, honest, affordable car repair shop. I can't say enough how professional and what a pleasure it was to do business with him. He saved me money and didn't try to gouge me on my car repair. The experience was THE BEST I have ever had! My car was brought in and in 2 days was duagnosed, repaired and running! I am impressed. Upstream O2 sensor: $116 for about 15 minutes of labor. $240 for the O2 sensor- over changed for part and labor. Not to mention that I called ahead to drop off the car, owner knew nothing about it when I arrived, and it took over three hours of my lost wages the next morning before I could get the car back.
