I was super excited after I met with them for my wedding flowers consultation. I felt pretty confident that everything would turn out perfect. He took pictures of everything we talked about and put together. I was a little disappointed because I spent a lot of money up front and feel as though I did not get what I paid for or what was agreed upon. The mothers corsages were completely not what we agreed on and also my bouquet and the bridesmaids were wrong too. The only thing that was right was the groomsmen boutineers :( flowers are flowers so I didn't let it bother me the day of, but I definitely feel let down and a little ripped off. read more

Don't waste your precious time or money! I went in there today and got REFUSED service from this florist because I wanted my bridal bouquet to be yellow and not white, which is the only color apparently that they are willing to use in their bridal bouquets???? He then insulted my yellow shoes that I have bought to wear under my dress....and told me that I am going to ruin my wedding and that I should go elsewhere. And the thing about it is, he wasn't even remotely nice! He was a straight up arrogant prick! He didn't even get off his butt to find a chair for my fiance to sit down, so he had to stand the entire time! Last time I checked...in case there are other brides out there who read magazines and like to stay abreast of the latest trends...color is the new trend in weddings..and this jerk kept referencing famous weddings that took place two decades ago! Obviously, his loss in business will speak for itself because I don't know how anyone can stay open if they have a mentality like that.,,its like he is stuck in the 80's and 90's! So, I am taking my business elsewhere...which sucks for him because my wedding is huge and I am sure that when I do find the right florist, we will be spending big BIG money with them. Each time I get an arrangement from Christopher John it seems that it simply can't be beat. Then I got flowers on Mother's Day for my wife. I can tell you that from every vantage point, it was a piece of art. I have said before that "no one does flowers like they do." If you put their arrangement next to anyone else's you will be able to pick theirs out. Beautiful, original, vibrant and over the top. You have to go and once you do you'll never go anywhere else. I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was with their overall customer service and their final product. Chris & John both went out of their way to provide wonderful service to us before and during the wedding. The bouquets were brought to our hotel well before the wedding began so that we could have them for the photos. John was like a wedding planner at the wedding, pinning on boutonnieres, passing out flowers, making sure everyone's hair looked great (seriously-- above and beyond!). Watching him with other customers was just as impressive, he goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with everything. Our wedding flowers were by far the most beautiful I have ever seen. Everyone said how wonderful they were, and the smell......they were amazing!!!! Price wise was shockingly affordable. For the quality of flowers and the amazing creations the give you, you would expect to pay high end prices. They were very affordable!!!! I will never go anywhere else for flowers. I was so excited to see my flowers on my wedding day, especially after all of the promises John had made and the money I spent. What a HUGE disappointment! Everything that we had talked about over our two meetings was nothing like the final product. The bridesmaids flowers were an embarrassment. John discussed and showed my mother and I all of the types of flowers that were going to be in the bouquets, final product was a hydrangea with a few gerber daisies sticking out of it, which didn't last after the church. I stressed that I was not a rose fan and was talked into using tiny roses with another flower for the guys, there flowers were regular roses. I have attached a picture of what John showed me he was going to make and the actual flower. My bouquet was pretty, on the plus side. John told us he was going to be the one at the church and would make sure everything ran smoothly, he wasn't there, his partner I never meet was and 4 people never received their flowers, they were left on the back pew. Christopher John is the best florist in the southwest suburbs. Chris and John create floral arrangements that are so different than other florists. Their arrangements are very unique, not run of the mill. I have used Christoper John for four family wakes/funerals and the floral arrangements were spectacular. Their arrangements look very modern, sophisticated and have very fresh flowers. Many of the visitors asked us where we got the flowers. My mom is 89, and lives at Marion Village. Flowers don't move her much, but yours did. She was so exited she left me a message telling me every flower, lemon leaf etc, and just how each flower was received as far as blooming. She told me just about the whole floor was in to see the arrangement and couldn't believe it! She said the vase was the best she had ever received along with the flowers being the absolute best. I had an overall vision of what I was hoping for, but I didn't have too many specifics... just wanted big and showy and gorgeous flowers. John definitely delivered!
